Atlantic Salmon & Sea Trout fishing.Connemara.English/French speaking Ghillie

By Ireland Wild Escapes
About
The West of Ireland offers the most wonderful, wild fresh water fly fishing experiences. Connemara bordered by the Atlantic on the West and Lough Corrib on the East it is strewn with some of the best salmon and trout fisheries in the world. Join us on our salmon and trout angling safaris with like-minded people in spectacular scenic Connemara. Most rivers and lake systems see their first run of large spring salmon in early April, with grilse arriving later in June and peaking in July. More salmon will enter the rivers in August and September whenever the rivers receive enough rain. The salmon fishing in Connemara is always best when the rivers are "in spate" following a heavy rain, which brings in fresh salmon and riles up those already in the river. Your guide is an expert on fishing in these rivers and will guide you through your perfect day. Pax: min 1, max 2 fishermen per boat. Available February to end September.

      Highly recommended
Absolutely fantastic trip, I would highly recommend this You can either do a stop on Cape Clear Island for 2 or 3 hours followed by a trip around fastnet or the direct to fastnet tour We done the fastnet direct as we had already visited the beautiful Cape Clear Island. We left Baltimore at 2 o'Clock and stopped on Cape Clear to allow people who were visiting the island to get off and we switched to a bigger boat which was already at the pier so no waiting around. If wildlife are around the boat will stop to let you have a look. We were lucky to see some dolphins, and the sea was really calm. It doesnt really matter what side of the boat you sit as the boat does a circle of Fastnet clockwise and anti clockwise so no matter where you sit, you will have a perfect view. The crew are very obliging and we were delighted that they offered to take our picture in front of the lighthouse, this is a lovely touch! On the way back we stopped briefly on Cape Clear to allow people on but there was no changing boats this time. We were back in Baltimore for 16.45 Even if its a lovely day, just remember to bring something warm to wear as it does get chilly on the sea. Baltimore gets really crowded on a nice day so make sure to leave plenty of time for parking and getting to the ferry If you book your tickets online, be sure to visit the little ticket office first as you actually need to paper ticket to board.

The best way to see the Cliffs of Moher and beautiful County Claire!
Just a short drive from where we stayed in Galway, Alan picked us up at Eyre Square and took us to a wonderful day through the countryside with the chance to see the Burren and little towns on our way to the famous cliffs… Once there, they do a great job at bringing the geographical feature to life and taking beautiful pictures which are sure to be on your next Christmas card! My last trip to the Cliffs was 2001 before the center was built so we had a real treat! Thanks Alan :)

      Picture perfect paradise
David and Paul were superb hosts and a wonderful representation of Irish tourism. They were polite, friendly to all and relaxed and really ensured each person was enjoying their trip. There was a mixture of ages and nationalities aboard and without a doubt everyone was made feel welcome, special and highly entertained. The kids were allowed to steer the boat. A French student sang for us. The tour of Inchagoill Island was very informative. Such a beautiful place of serenity. David was a fountain of knowledge from start to finish. Cong and Ashford Castle looked stunning. Well done to all who are involved in keeping every place spotlessly clean and looking so fab. Thanks again to David and Paul for a lovely day. Highly recommend them for all ages.

Very unprofessional service and poor quality bikes. Use another company!
Once we arrived the staff were incredibly rude once they discovered we had used a third party. They said we’d paid double and they looked after people who had booked direct ahead of us. The bikes are a very poor quality. Use another company as we saw a total of 4 companies there.

We had a great time on the tour. The owner and his assistants were great. I would recommend a little experience with riding on the 2 hour tour but the owner and guides will be with you the entire time ensuring you have a great experience.

      Well worth it! We
This was a great way to see the cliffs and our bus driver did an excellent job entertaining and enlightening us on the drive. We rode in the horse cart on the island which was also well worth it and ate a bite in the island’s pub which was so memorable.

A great way to see the sights.
A great way to see the park. My daughter and I booked the experience and I'm so glad that we did. Although it was a little bit pricey, it was money well spent. We saw loads of the park while ride horses for the first time, what could be better. The instructors were excellent and really knowledgeable about the area.

Rafting the upper Sac with Jack
My wife and I recently spent a couple of days rafting with Jack Trout on the upper Sacramento River. The rafting experience was great and the fishing was fun. So different to our lake fishing in Tasmania. Jack was great, the fishing was fun. Lots of beautiful fit rainbows. Staggering on the rocks in the Mcleod on day three was fun. Big fish in the pools but a bit beyond me! If you get to fish with Jack you should. Deer, squirrels and rainbows. People talk about the bears, we saw none! Must go back for more...

      Wow! Wow! and Wow!
We had the best time! Gabriel was amazing, the tour was amazing, the goats were amazing. My family 12 year old triplets, 16 year old and Mom and Dad had the best time with Gabriel. He was kind and knowledgeable. The tour was perfect, the goats were the best!!!!!! The cheese is to die for. If we ever come back we would do this in a heart beat. Thank you Gabriel for being so amazing to my family, you gave them a core memory and I will forever be in your debt.
