Glass fusing workshop
Oct 2020
I found this a really relaxing and creative experience. We were taught the basics very quickly and given some good ideas of pieces that we could make. Both my daughter and I were very pleased of the pieces we made!

Fantastic morning
We stumbled across this gem while stuck in traffic and last minute booked ourselves in for a workshop the next morning. Kevan was very welcoming and took us through cutting glass and the tools used step by step. It was then onto the fun part of what we wanted to make - my husband was very ambitious with the dragon he wanted to make but Kevan was more than happy to accommodate this and helped us both achieve amazing pieces in the time we were with him. Would definitely recommend 👍🏼 Thanks Kevan!

Great workshop
We were queuing at the traffic light, when we saw Cross Tree Glass . We phoned up and booked for an afternoon workshop. When we arrived Kevan was really helpful, motivated and enthusiastic. I’m not very arty so was not expecting much but we worked on green house glass first to practise our skills. Then we moved on to make our own piece of glass works. That was quite hard to decide but decided on a fish theme. Kevan was really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The workshop is a great relaxing environment and I cannot believe what I created. Two days later and we have picked up our art work, which is amazing . I cannot take a photo as it is all wrapped up and I want to get it home in one piece. I would highly recommend this workshop and we have never done anything like this before but really enjoyed it . Thank you Kevan

Great experience!
Spotting this has to be one of the best silver linings to being stuck in a queue of traffic! This lovely little shop/gallery/workshop is a gem, full of beautiful handcrafted items and the wonderful opportunity to try a workshop and make your own. The 'workshop' takes the form of friendly, personalised tuition, covering whatever instruction and help you happen to need. Although I've tried quite a few crafts, this was new to me. I was surprised how quickly you can pick this up, it's quite a kind craft on the complete beginner I'd say - the only particularly challenging bit for me was choosing a design! For what you get - the time, help and finished piece to keep - it is very good value and a great use of a morning or afternoon. I went on my own, which wasn't a problem at all. If I get the chance this is something I will definitely do again and will recommend to family and see if I can get them along too.
