Had an amazing experience on our tour, really great mixture of history, beautiful landscapes and Scottish weather. Derek was great, he was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, felt like being on a tour with a friend rather than just a guide :) - Becky and Jack

      A look into Scotland
Very nice experience, our guide Owen was so good at what he was doing. Great storyteller and funny too. The weather was rainy but we did the beat out of it. A really good introduction to the beauties of Scotland. The tour was organized by Scotland’s Wild, totally recommend them.

A true Scottish experience with breathtaking views
Our tour guide Cal gave us an amazing experience going through the highlands by adapting to the weather and giving us wonderful views while not changing the itinerary too much. He was very courteous of how the group was doing and gave us so many recommendations during our pit stops in certain towns. Some of my favorite highlights were Dunadd Fort and the backstory behind its importance (including some folklore) and the Luss pier (which we were lucky to see as its normally included during the winter months I think). It was a 10 hour trip, but Cal helped pass the time with funny stories, Scottish history, and teaching us some Scottish slang. I definitely felt like I experienced the full Scottish experience with this tour and I would highly recommend this one among the other highland tour options.

      Stunning sights and sites!
Laura took us on an amazing trip around Loch Lomond and the Trossarchs! We saw some great sights and heard some amazing stories about Scottish folklore and history. Laura’s knowledge on the area was very impressive and her passion for the subject really brought it to life. Laura was great at adapting the tour based on the weather as well! Would highly recommend!

      Simply spectacular
. We have done the tour of Loch Ness, the Highlands and Glencore with the guide and driver Chris. They have exceeded our expectations. Feature Chris. Great person and professional. Knowledgeable about all the history that he transmits with passion throughout the journey. Unlike other tours, they care about quality time in terms of visits and stops so that you can attend to your needs. Intense and complete trip that gives you a great perspective of a large part of the region. Thank you Chris, from the bottom of my heart.

The Loch Ness and glencoe day tour was an absolutely great experience. Laura was amazing and very knowledgeable. She also accommodated to what the group wanted to do which made the tour much more enjoyable.

Laura is an excellent tour guide. We had a lovely day trip with her. Absolutely enjoyed our trip with Scotland's wild, very well planned, and much credit goes to Laura for that!

      Into Scotland!
Great tour by great people !! We had a wonderful day, full of Scottish history, culture and accent ! Landscape, castle and whisky are great pillars for discovering Scotland and that’s what this tour provides. Guides (Cal & Laura) are super welcoming and full of knowledge (and great drivers). We would do it again!

Great way to get out of the city!
We had a fabulous day exploring the countryside with Laura! The weather was less than cooperative, but she didn’t let that dampen anyone’s spirits. One of the reasons we chose this tour was to get out and hike, which we really enjoyed. We appreciated Laura’s enthusiasm for Scotland and willingness to share and answer our many questions.

      Cal was great!
We had a great time with Cal! He is a great guide, sharing his knowledge with the group and ensuring we got the most out of our trip. He was also very attentive to a young college girl who got car sick (not due to his driving but can’t handle motion well) and made sure to pull over when she needed while not sacrificing any of the trip for the rest of the group. We also took Cal up on one of his meal recommendations and it was great. We had a fabulous time and would recommend Cal and Wild Tours to others!

If you can't get enough of Scotland, you need Scotland's Wild
I've had top-notch private tours with John from Caithness to Berwickshire, all manner of places in between, and even extending to England and Ireland. But this most recent one pushed the geography to the outer limits of Orkney and Shetland. As always John loaded the trek with fascinating themes---neolithic ruins, Viking settlements, lighthouses, WWll history. And the tour was far from over; we then soaked up old favorites and new places in the Highlands and Hebrides. He's great company, and everywhere the scenery was beyond incredible. There's no better way to plunge into what you love most about Scotland than a private tour with Scotland's Wild.

      Exceptional
I was lucky enough to take a second private trip with this company. Cal was outstanding...compassionate,fabulous company and most importantly to me,flexible. We stopped for photos and spots that caught my eye. Blasting my choice of music driving down the Glen Etive road will be in my most favouritest of memories.

Scotland is beautiful and Cal was great!
I’d highly recommend this tour if you’re staying in Balloch! Not only is the route gorgeous, but it’s evident how much time and care the company puts into crafting incredible experiences for guests through thoughtfully structured travel days and an expertly built team. This was the second tour I took with Scotland’s Wilds, and I was blown away both times by the hospitality and knowledge of their guides. This tour was guided by Cal, who could not have provided a better or more engaging tour of the historic sites we visited. He took time to learn any specific areas of interest, then made a point to highlight any information, stories, landmarks, etc. we might be excited by. He is also very funny. All made for the perfect relaxed and friendly environment, ideal for a day full of exploring.

Beautiful views, great tour guide, lovely music
We really enjoyed our tour with Cal. He had lovely stories, sometimes serious and sometimes with a laugh. With Scottish based music in the background (like Big Country, Edwyn Collins, Proclaimers, Franz Ferdinand) during the trip. We had a blast!

We were a little nervous about a full day tour on our last day in Scotland, our fears were unfounded. This trip was a highlight of our entire vacation! Andrew was knowledgeable, entertaining and witty. The hikes were magical, falls of Falloch, Inchree falls, Ballachulish, and Rannoch Moor. Our day started looking like a typical Scottish weather day and ended up with incredible blue skies. We appreciated there were stops on the way back it made the return seem much shorter. We are looking forward to our next visit to Scotland and will definitely be booking another adventure with Andrew and Scotlands wild. Maybe next time we can actually photograph a wild haggis 😉😉 We recommend anyone heading to Glasgow don’t miss the opportunity.

We had a fantastic day on this trip. Chris is highly knowledgeable and very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed his stories on the road and learnt a lot about Scotland in general. The pacing of the trip is perfect - just the right amount of stops, exactly when you need it. The van is comfortable and clean. We had enough time to take in all the incredible sights and nature around us. I can recommend taking the Loch Ness cruise as well. It was an unforgettable day, thank you Chris!

We spent a great day taking part in the 12-hour tour from Edinburgh to Lochness and Glencoe. It was the best tour choice ever: John is a very warm and friendly person, he took us to places which looked like hidden jems and are off the most rated paths. He is very passionate about his work, and he is really capable of conveying his love of his country. His tour was filled with history and myth explanations and also botanical notions. That' s why I would recommend this experience to other travellers who do want to live the country under another perspective. Thank you!

What a wonderful day! Callum, Derrick, and Laura were all incredible guides who really enhanced what is just a staggering beautiful country and adventure. Glencoe was even more spectacular than expected and the Hermitage was the most spectacular tree grove with a breathtaking waterfall! 10/10 would recommend this tour and will certainly be going on other tours in the near future.

We spent two days hiking in the Scottish Highlands with a group of eight friends. Guide John is simply a great guy, easy to connect to, passionate and knowledgeable on Scotland’s history and wildlife - we even spotted a wild Haggis hiding between the rocks! Also, everything was organized extremely well, we did not have to worry about anything - we could simply have fun and enjoy the stunning views. When we get back to Scotland, we will definitely ask John to guide us again.

Had a fab day exploring the Scottish Highlands with Derek. The trip had the exact right amount of time spent travelling, walking and hopping out at beauty spots. Felt like a proper geography field trip (which as a geographer is a big compliment! Derek was also great, struck the right balance between giving us lots of geographical and historical facts as well as letting us chill whilst we were in transit. It was a small group which I liked and he took the time to chat to everyone. The only thing that let us down was the weather which couldn't be helped. We look forward to coming back to Scotland in the future to do another of these excellent trips!

Mòran taing! Bha Anndra càirdeil agus èibhinn! Andrew, our guide, was knowledgeable, adaptive, and very conversational. Scotland's Wild seemed accommodating because it picked up passengers in Glasgow and Balloch. The trip was well organized to allow us out of the van multiple times, and often for a wander-about - not just a photo opportunity (though we had some of those too!). The tour was efficiently designed so that we were able to see as much as possible but not feel like we were in the car all day. Our walks to falls and other viewing points seemed a bit off of the beaten path, which added to the intimate feel of the tour and the 'wildness' of Scotland. As a solo traveler, I wasn't sure how touring with a group would feel. Andrew did an excellent job of helping me feel included, and the other tour-goers were friendly as well. I had high expectations for this tour, and somehow Scotland's Wild still exceeded them! I will definitely be looking to book with Scotland's Wild when I return next to Scotland!

Fantastic day out. I’m local to Balloch and have been on trips like this many times but it was very enjoyable and enlightening to see everything from tourists eyes. The others in the bus were really friendly and from all over, we had a good laugh. Calum the Tour guide is very knowledgable and able to anticipate what people like to do. He’s so friendly and took us to see some amazing views. The weather was great snow rain wind and cold. Loved it 😃

I had an amazing day trip to experience Scotland. The beautiful highlands and Loch Ness.
Our guide was Owen and he was fantastic - lots of stories and facts about Scotland plus he is a great photographer and truly knows how to capture the best photos.
The time keeping was fantastic - everything was as explained in the description of the tour.
The hikes were great - not too demanding but just enough to get a taste for the country. I cant wait to come back.
