- gypsygirl4250 contributionsVery informativeWe did this tour as part of a larger tour of the JFK Assassination. This was the one thing we did that was crowded this week but it was still enjoyable. There was tons of information surrounding the JFK Assassination and his life in general. It definitely made me want to buy a book to have time to really learn about it.Written 1 September 2024

- Matt N0 contributionsDon't Do It - Three Tacos for the WHOLE TOURThis was honestly one of the worst tours I have taken. I am from Australia and wanted to take this tour to explore downtown whilst hitting some awesome food spots Well guess what, we visited 3 taco establishments (two of which were franchises that I could've found myself!!) and we received ONE taco at each one!! Are you kidding?! I paid $70 for this tour to be shown places I could've found myself and get a total of 3 tacos for the duration Absolutely ridiculous It is so disappointing to have toured with your company and I am so angry you charged me for that experience!Written 10 May 2022
- MSwackhamer0 contributionsAmazing tacos, margaritas and tour!Such a fun tour! The tacos and margaritas were all excellent (and three is plenty). Took the JFK bus Tour with Kevin in early March. Had the added benefit of Kevin training a new guide, who was doing the driving, so Kevin was able to give us his undivided attention. Tour was thorough and entertaining. We made stops at the assassination site, where we got out of the van and toured the area for a good 20 minutes - including the grassy knoll, X marks on the street, zapruder film location. They also took us to the Oswald murder site, where Ruby shot Oswald. Then they took us to the Bishop Arts area, and we made stops at the House Oswald and his wife lived together, which was the site of the famous "Rifle photo". Then they took us inside the boarding room Oswald lived in for about 6 weeks up to the assassination. It was remarkable seeing the house largely intact to the way it looked in 63. We were then shown site where Oswald killed Officer Tippitt, and subsequently the shoe store he ducked into "is now a quinceanera store" and finally the Texas theatre where he was ultimately arrested. I thought the tour visited all the critical sites with the history of the assassination, and the time spent at each location was appropriate. Kevin was also kind enough to give his own beliefs into the many different conspiracy theories. As someone who already knew quite a bit about the story, I felt I still learned quite a bit, and thought it was a good investment of time and money. ** Tour ended around Noon - we had purchased our 6th floor museum tickets for 2:30pm, so there was ample time after the tour to have lunch before heading over to the 6th floor museum.

I highly recommend this tour. My husband is the JFK Assassination junky but I found the tour as presented by our excellent guide, Kevin, very informative and entertaining. In presenting facts, myths, and conjecture, Kevin encouraged us to form our own opinions about "what really happened".

Tour was excellent our guide had lots of info about the assassination and was very knowledgeable. It was obvious she had a love of history and a love for her town. You spend time seeing all the major sites. The grassy knoll, dealy plaza, the book repository, the boarding house, even places where photos are taken. There are x’s on the ground showing exactly where shots occurred. The tour included a voucher for the museum at the book repository and is guided with audio recordings at your own pace and many panels to read. You are left with a sense from the whole affair that it may not have happened as exactly as the government said but that it is still plausible that did happen that way. There is information that was thrown out because it didn’t fit the rest of the narrative. It is certainly a sad mark on our past and one is left wondering what might have been with a second term with JFK. We will never know.

We are so happy that you enjoyed the tour, and that you were able to visit the museum as well. There are certainly many unanswered questions involving the assassination, but it’s always a pleasure putting there pieces together with new friends. Hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay, and thank you for your feedback.

I've been on much better tours. First of all, the guide did not have a mic so those in the back could not hear. We were a bit restless, but she was not warm and friendly. The driver was cool. The tour did not unfold in the order in which events happened so it was quite confusing. The best part of the tour was the rooming house where the lady who knew Oswald gave us some really interesting firsthand information. The tour guide said it was too hot to get out more than twice. She didn't ask us if we wanted to. Then when we said we needed to stop because we had several kids and they needed to go potty, she was quite reluctant to do so. I bet it's a great tour with an excellent tour guide, if it goes in the order of events and if everyone on the bus can hear.

An absolutely incredible tour regarding the events of what happened on on that fateful and terrible day in Dallas on November 22, 1963! We were able to visit so many different areas and places. Additionally, the discussions about the Kennedy assassination and everything else which transpired were very informative and gave reason to always wonder what really happened. Thank you for a wonderful tour! I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about the events regarding the Kennedy assassination!

We enjoyed the tour despite the sad nature of the event. Having visited the Sixth Floor Museum on a previous visit to Dallas, I was glad that this took a different approach by seeing where various events happened, meeting someone who actually knew Lee Harvey, and hearing our guide discuss the evidence and conflicting testimony. Also the history about the eyewitnesses and conspiracies was fascinating, got my daughter doing research after. Very well worth!!

Our tour guide, Scott, was very knowledgeable and presented an unbiased review of facts that led to the sad assassination of JFK. The tour took us to the grassy knoll, Oswald's boarding, and the theater where Oswald was arrested. I would highly recommend this tour. It was a highlight of our trip to Dallas.

The whole tour was excellent! I can’t pinpoint one part I enjoyed more than the others. I have to say our tour guide made the experience even that much better. He was very informative, entertaining and shared lots of ‘secret tidbits’ of info that I did not know before. Would definitely recommend this tour !

Kevin gave me and my wife a great tour. He was knowledgeable, energetic, and funny. The mini bus was clean and the AC worked great on this hot September 3rd late morning. I had studied the JFK assassination and Kevin even threw-in a couple tidbits I didn’t even know. Visiting Dealey Plaza and associated sites was a bucket list item for me, and Kevin didn’t disappoint.

Kevin was a great tour guide! He was informative while keeping it entertaining. I learned a lot more about the Kennedy shooting than I thought I would. Kevin is good about presenting the information without putting too much of his opinion or bias into it. At the very end of the tour, he gave his opinion which was a bit of a surprise to me.
My opinion:
I don’t think Oswald acted alone. I think there was a shooter on the grassy knoll.

Álvaro, pudiéramos hacer la excursión con un guía en español, pero sería una excursión privada. Usualmente las excursiones privadas requieren de un grupo de 6 o mas personas.

We have the option of being in Dallas on either a Saturday, Nov 1st or a Sunday, Nov 2nd. Is one of these recommended over the other for this tour? Traffic? Number of tourist. City or nearby major events, etc.?
Written 4 October 2019
A very good tour I don’t think it matters on the day.

How far in advance should you purchase tickets for a weekday tour? For example, when should I book if I plan to tour 10/31?
Written 10 September 2019
I would recommend purchasing them a month in advance so you get the date you need the tickets for. It is a very good tour and it books fast.
