No functioning safety-belt, guide gave me his seat. Company careless for life and safety of customers and employees.
The vehicle provided did not have a seat for me with a functioning safety-belt. Our driver Davide and our guide Ruben were very professional about it and Ruben gave up his seat for me, but nevertheless I am shocked and disappointed with how little regard for life and safety the company seems to treat their guests and personnel. This is completely unacceptable! I hope this contributes to care and due diligence for future costumers and employees.

Wondering tour up in the hills.
It was quite interesting tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. We have seen magnificent hills and breathtaking cliffs, recommended for all who is not afraid of heights.

          Terrible seevice
We didn’t get to go in tour. Firstly they sent us the wrong time, (we didn’t know this) we confirmed the booking, then they changed the time, and hour earlier which meant we couldn’t go, I explained that due to the change we are no longer able to go! They responded saying you need 16 hours notice to cancel, so I said how can I do that you only just told me?? To which they said, yea sorry we got time wrong, but you still won’t get a refund? I am still chasing my money. There are many other tour operators out there who are very good. AVOID this one.

          A must see in Funchal
What a fantastic experience. Great gardens and a fantastic way to spend several hours. Oh, and the cable car ride was a treat as well

          Vale Paradise Levada walk Madeira
The pick-up from our hotel was prompt, the driver & guide were friendly and very helpful. The walk was undemanding but interesting and the guide Yulia provided good commentaries on what we saw on the walk.

          Worst sunrise experience ever
We booked this tour with the option of watching the sunrise. The organization was a complete disaster: They were punctual but have us waiting for two hours and a half with cold and wind until the other group with the guide came. There were no place open to have a coffee and we had no possibility to contact them. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SUNRISE TOURS.

          Excellent Tour
Nov 16 What can I say but WOW. Excellent tour and Wonderful guide. All the stops were timed perfectly. The Poco do Areiro and Levada was my favorite. The lunch stop in Santana was great food served was delicious fron starters to main meal to dessert and the wine included with the package. I can’t say enough great words towards our GUIDE. He was very attentive and informative and made sure we were all comfortable. Thank you for a great day. I so recommend doing this tour with PEDRO!

          Very very disappointing
Unfortunately not worth wasting a day. With the promise of viewing little thatched cottages beautifully painted who would want to miss this trip . Well what a disappointment. Firstly there are 4 houses not original . Put up to attract tourists . The rest of the trip was long and boring and the drivers just wants to waste time so they can call the tour a full day . The restaurant where the driver recommended us to eat obviously because he got a free meal was awful. Food and service . No one tells you to prepare for mist and a full downpour of rain . It was almost like no one wanted to tell the truth . Glad when it was over .

Great trip but with the horrible tour guide
The tour was really nice, beautiful places. Unfortunately the tour guide was a horrible person really disrespectful, unpleasant and awfully arrogant. I believe he is in love with his voice too as he was talking in funny ways all they long. Also, he was driving way too fast and made comments such as "holle, hollala...etc. His name is Denis. He refused to tell me his real name, so I don't know how to spell. I made a formal complaint. I can still recommend this tour, but just be aware who is the driver.

          Great views, poor guide.
Sadly there wasn't much to like about our tour on Friday the 3rd June. Firstly, the minibus was quite uncomfortable with the legroom far worse than on Ryanair planes and I'm not even that tall. Our other tour with a different company didn't have that issue. Secondly, the trip duration wasn't the advertised 8h unless the pick ups and drop offs were included. The actual proper trip started after 10am and completely missed off the first stop of Camacha, then went the anticlockwise way around, only stopping for 5 minutes at a viewpoint near Machico instead of the advertised 30 minutes in the town. We didn't stop in Faial either, the break in Santana lasted 2h instead of 3h but that's probably just as well as apart from the 'typical houses' there was really nothing to see there - if there was, the driver never said. He wasn't saying much anyway apart from the names of stops like Santa-ana which he amazingly repeated twice. Not sure if driving tours is his main job, perhaps he was just a stand-in driver, it certainly felt that way. Pico Arieiro was covered in clouds by the time we got there (it was clear in the morning when it was meant to be our second stop but as I said we went the wrong way around). Can't control the weather but it would be nice to make the most of it when the sun is out there. The views along the journey were amazing but we wanted to learn more about the island, which we sadly didn't.

          Charming place to visit
In my opinion taking trail down to the valley from Eira do Serrado is the best way to visit the Nuns Valley. You can see the valley and experience its charm all the time along the way. The Nuns Valley itself doesn’t have that much to offer, just a few places to eat, gift shops and the old church. However taking the trail to go down, instead of getting there by car or bus can completely change your impression of this place.

          The itinerary is lie
It is quite cheap tour, so I could accept very little space in the car. But I am very disappointed that we only drove through most of the most beautiful places. There is 30 minutes stop for Pico Ruivo do Paul da Serra planned in your itinerary. No stop - we drove only. The same thing happened at the planned stops "Seixal Natural Pool" and Sao Vicente. We stopped instead these places at the friendly souvenir shop. Sorry, but it was a complete waste of time and money. Next time I'd rather pay for a taxi :-(

Valley side levada with lots to see
Was a bit worried that this could be a bit ordinary being only a half day and being valley side after some of the high mountain trails. Being south of the island meant hot sun for us and the levada was reliably level so easy walking. The path itself was often narrow with precarious drops but one man's precarious is another man's spectacular views. Even a short tunnel towards the end. So many flowers and butterflies to see. Just 2 small negatives - there was quite a lot to fit in and although our excellent guide stopped a lot in the early stages, after the village it was more or less non stop which led some of the party to request a drinks stop. Also this is supposed to be a sugar cane walk but apart from a couple of fields on the way up the to the start it turned out that the tall plant unthought was cane was actually for basket weaving not sugar. Finally just a mention to our bus driver. All in a day's work for an islander I'm sure but for me the steep, narrow, twisty roads with their spectacular views are better from a passenger perspective. All in all a lovely morning
