What to expect
  • The former Curia train station building is the mother house of the Bairrada Route, a place where the history of the Curia's thermal village is blended with the present history of the Bairrada Wine. In this building inaugurated in 1944, it is possible to still observe the old waiting rooms still with the original benches and the panels of tiles of Jorge Barradas, dated of 1945. The visit to this space includes a tasting of sparkling Bairrada with Amores da Curia, a typical regional sweet.

Charming space and great wine tasting
Feb 2020
Our host, Ana, was very informative and knowledgable. We got a great tour of the old train station (a beautifully decorated relic of the past century) and a fascinating introduction to the wines of Bairrada.
