3-Hour Bike Tour from San Francisco to Sausalito via the Golden Gate Bridge
US$49.00
Overview
Combine your introduction to the San Francisco Bay with your daily exercise on a 3-hour private bicycle tour. Begin at the city’s historic waterfront, Fisherman’s Wharf, then follow your guide to the Presidio, a national park with breathtaking views of the Pacific and Golden Gate Bridge. Continue north across the bridge and explore the quaint waterfront town of Sausalito before returning to San Francisco by either bike or ferry.
What to Expect
Meet your guide at the bustling waterfront shopping district, Fisherman’s Wharf, to begin your private 3-hour tour through some of the San Francisco’s most scenic destinations. You will then pedal west on a waterfront trail past Ghirardelli Square, the landmark plaza named for the famed Italian chocolatier, and through the glitzy Marina District.

Following your guide, you’ll ride through the Presidio, a forested former military base-turned-national park with postcard views of the bay and residents that include the Walt Disney Family Museum and Lucasfilm. Cruising across the Golden Gate Bridge, you’ll catch views of Alcatraz to your east and the Pacific Ocean to your west. Finish the tour with a downhill coast to Sausalito, where you can explore its pretty downtown and distinctive houseboat communities before pedaling back to San Francisco or catching a return ferry.

OK, but could be better

This was the least expensive of the bike rental and tour places near Fisherman’s Wharf. We saw other tour groups on our trip and their guides were doing a way better job. They knew more about the area, did a better job keeping the group...More
