Great service, always full but there are many of them and you can pay cash. The person wprking in the cable car are really kind and they speak 2 languages

This and alcatraz are by far the best activity that is unique to SF. I found riding the cable car after sunset was so much more manageable.

I had so much fun riding the cable car, very unique experience that you really don’t find anywhere! Recommend it!

I wouldn't recomment this tour company. It was very confusing. No time given when we booked. I called and left a message and finally got a text saying to text them. I did and they responsed immediately. I was looking for a ferry ride and tour only which I found hard to find. Anyway, it seems everyone goes on the same ferry regardless of where you purchased tickets and we could have probably purchased them at Pier 43. Then we thought we were getting an audio tour on our phones but that didn't work. However when we walked inside we were handed headphones. Thank goodness.

The start of the self guided tour line is not worth the wait !! The self guided tour was horrible mostly music . The cable car goes up and down the same street

Short one way cable car ride down from Msrket Street to the Fisherman’s Wharf. Don’t bother with downloading the Pin Tours audio. It costs &14.99! The trip is over before you can figure out the app!

Our PIN number never worked on the app. We were not able to use this service! Now we are on our phone trying to get a refund. It has not been nice.

This app did not work for me either. Strongly advise against it. I tried a number of times to connect but had no luck. Instead we walked around on our own.

Third party didn’t sent me the RQ code I had to pay extra more money to get in the ferry cause they were not letting us get on the train until we paid

I made the mistake of booking and paying for this self-driving audio-only tour a few months in advance. I had anticipated that I would access and start the tour on the afternoon of a specific day but ended up wanting to start it the morning of the following day. But the Viator website marked the tour "over" and made it extremely difficult to access it--even though it was my understanding from the TripAdvisor website that I could access the tour anytime, not just on the specific day and time i originally thought I would. BEWARE: if you end up not accessing the tour at the originally scheduled date/time, you may have the same issues I did. So, if there is any doubt about the specific date you might want to start your tour, I would wait and purchase the tour right before you want to start it. ALSO, the navigation of the tour is quirky and inflexible. Although it is advertised as being able to start it at any point, I did not find this true. The tour somehow decided I wanted to end the tour at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay, when I was actually starting the tour there. As a result, at each stop, I had to press the button on the app to go back one stop in order to make it work. I finally got exhausted by all of this and ended up skipping some stops.

receiving my tickets was a nightmare, had to click through to another supplier and all this whilst queuing for over an hour to hop noto a car. then they move at speed so be careful if standing, not a lot of indication of where you are and what's around you. given I chose the multi trip I used it once and even then it wasn't easy to locate and hop back on

We booked this with our alcatraz tour, we enjyed learning about the cable cars, reccomend getting off at the cable car musuem, especially if you have kids. The end of the line is fishermans wharf which is about 10 mins from the alcatraz, and the whole ride takes 30 mins.

We enjoyed this tour, but we didn't realize that there are a few different options to pick from. The Alcatraz and Angel City option takes you to both Alcatraz and angel island, we chose the bay cruise option which only passes around the island, but we ended up upgrading to the angel city one, which you get off at. Overall fun day, and the app is easy

Such a huge disappointment!! We booked out tickets for the tour of Alcatraz 10 days in advance. After driving 10 hours to get there, we were told our tickets were not valid. We called trip advisor, nobody was available to talk over the phone. They would only communicate through texts. They told us they changed our tickets to the next day. We were never informed that they had changed our date. We’d already driven there and paid $50 to park our vehicle. They told us they’d give us a tour of the city instead of the Alcatraz tour we paid for. We noticed the ticket price was half the price trip advisor charged. But your tickets when you get there. Don’t buy the audio package. It comes with all the tickets bought in sight for half the price. Poor customer service!! We are out our ticket money and the $50 parking fee.

horrible staff. j had to call about 6 times before someone answered to ask at what time the rides ended and he said right now and hung up. super unprofessional and rude staff.
