      Moab a must do vacation.
Great time, beautiful parks and breath taking scenery. White water rafting was a lot of fun, not to hard great guides. Spent a day in the desert on side by side, hot but great time. Would defiantly go back a second time.

I took my 13 year old nephew on a 1/2 day class 1/2 rafting trip and it was fantastic for him. Jake was our guide and he was funny and a really engaging guide who made my nephew feel comfortable and excited at the same time.

      Great adventure!
A friend recommended the Bow and Arrow hike and canyoneering experience. I have to admit I was nervous but booked our family (2 19 year old DD) none of us had done anything like this. The hike was moderate difficulty but great scenery and lots of knowledge by Cage. Adam definitely added some comic relief. They led us thru 4 rappels. Both guides were attentive and supportive of the group. We highly recommend!

My husband and myself done half day rafting trip which was really nice. Guides were super nice kept conversation going within our group knowledgeable of the information she told us. Learned alot from her didn't know before hand which was very interesting. The water was super cold but felt good for the first time rafting was lot fun wished we had had bigger rapids to go thru but that was my for not choosing the right trip. Recommend these people to do tours with alot fun well worth the money and was able to schedule evening before the trip.

Great way to beat the heat in Moab!
Great way to spend a morning in Moab! From signup and payment to arrival and safety checks, Red River made things seamless. The entire team was super fun and outgoing while clearly being experts on both rafting and the surrounding terrain. They pointed out lots of interesting facts about the incredible landscape and wildlife during the bus ride to/from the river and along the river itself. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and our raft guide Emily was a lot of fun, ensuring we all had a safe and memorable time. We've done multiple other trips with this company and they're always first class. Next trip with Red River to ski some pow in Japan!

      Great excursion
Great day with some hiking in a beautiful area, en route to the rappelling experiences. It was very hot, and the hiking did involve some tricky sections. Could be challenging going for some younger kids. The guide, Cage, was excellent and was able to provide extra help to a younger participant who was anxious. We felt safe.

      Back again
This was our sixth year in a row that we've come back to Red River. Great adventure. Great thanks to Carl for doing the reservation for Large group of people that kept being added and subtracted. Made it simple. Great shout out to Liz for being such a wonderful River guide. Her knowledge was great. Awesome! Nice shout out to kira. Anybody that looks at the group and says hey. Aren't you the engineers from New Mexico that were here for the great storm of 2022 is a great thing to attest to the fact that they care so much for their customers. Highly recommend

More lazy river than white water rafting
The scenery was amazing but the river was pretty low and we were underwhelmed with the rapids. Still made the best of it enjoying a half day on the water. Savanna was great and kept it fun.

Hiking and rappelling at Bow and Arch Canyon
So freaking FUN!! First time canyoneering for everyone in our group ages 9 to 50s and we all had a blast. The awesome guide team of Adam and Cage was fantastic. They kept us all laughing but feeling secure. The hike up was moderate and provided great views of the La Sal mountains, dino tracks, Long Bow Arch and petroglyphs. We completed a total of 4 rappels. The first was a great intro on how to lean and shift weight. They only got more exciting after that. Great core memories for our whole family. We would do this again for sure. Highly recommend!

Very professional. We booked double sit kayak to have more action. We really enjoyed the nature, swimming in Colorado river and passing all those rapids by our own. Wold do again.

Nice way to see the rocks
We felt we were in good hands with Kenzie. Friendly, supportive and safe. The rocks were beautiful and fun. We were worried that it would be too hot but it was in the shade so it was ok. Thanks!

      Beautiful scenery - recommend
My 24-year old son and I went on the half day rafting trip. Gorgeous scenery and great crew. Will was our guide and read the people on the boat well. Fun time. Safety was discussed. Only thing I wish I’d known was that we’d only have about 2 hours on the river for the half-day package due to travel time in the bus and the safety briefings. A few rapids but nothing scary. Mostly leisurely float in the boat with a chance to jump in the water a few times.

      Canyoneering in MOAB-AMAZING!!
What an amazing experience!! Being first timers, y daughter and I were nervous about canyoneering. Our guide, Adam, was fantastic! He eased our fears and we are ready to come back and experience there next level of canyoneering. Highly recommended.

We did the half day Fishers Tower tour and had an amazing time. Our guide Adam did a great job tailoring the trip to our family! He gave us opportunities to swim in the river, told us information about the area, and even taught our boys how to do backflips off of the raft. We loved that he took the time to understand what we were looking forward to on our trip and then made sure to deliver on those experiences. Kudos to Red River Adventures and to Adam!

Chose the full-day rafting in early May and had Adam as our guide. Excellent experience! The water level was very low, so the river was only Cat I/II but we still had an awesome time. We started with another raft doing the half day and after seeing where they got out and how much of the river they missed, we are definitely glad we chose the full day. The half day simply is too short and misses the better parts of the river. Adam was great; not only was he able to provide information about geology of the area and his ornithology knowledge (we spotted a bald eagle and nest, a golden eagle and magpies), but had a great personality and was a lot of fun too (some great jokes!). I'd love to come back later in the year when the river is more challenging. Despite the river not bringing a ton of rapids for us, he still made it exciting and we all got wet and had a great time. If he asks you what kind of experience you want, make sure you ask to "milk the river for everything it has!"

The highlight of our trip. Our guide, John, was super nice, fun, and informative. Rapids were perfect speed to provide a fun and relaxing experience. The trip to the raft launching site was also fun, as our guides provided some impromptu standup comedy that included fun and useful tips about local restaurants, museums, and lodging.

We did the full day rafting trip and the entire thing lasted 6 hours, but only 3.5 of those were actually on the water. There were about 60 people that started various rafting tours at the same time as us and so checking them in, loading up buses, driving to the put in point, and getting everyone onto boats took a long time. The scenery was beautiful and the guide was decent, but there was a lot of lulls in their interpretive guiding and in the river itself with long slow flat stretches. The few rapids we did were pretty fun, but short and few and far between. We eventually pulled out of the river and again had to wait quite a while for all the boats to come out and then everyone load back onto the buses and then drive back through most of Moab.

I need to start with the staff are great, very friendly and fun. The tour itself I’m disappointed to have paid almost $500 for basically paddling a boat with very few rapids. For several hours in a boat and to only hit 5-6 rapids doesn’t seem worth it to me. We had extreme wind and with only 4 of us in the boat (2 smaller kids) it was brutal and we were all wishing the trip was over with still 1.5 hours to go, not fun. Did a Razr tour the next day which I wish I could get this money back and repeat that tour, so much fun. Unfortunate but wouldn’t recommend this tour, too much work, too little fun.

There are indeed "limited rapids" on the Fisher Towers trip, 7 to be exact. The same amount we note in our descriptions of the tour on TA and in all our marketing. We want to let anyone reading this know that not everyday is windy. For the majority of our season wind is not an issue at all. Windy days are generally only a factor in the month of May. Our trips operate outside and we have to deal with the weather Mother Nature gives us. Sometimes trips are a bit more work than sitting in a vehicle but we do our best to make the trip enjoyable no matter the conditions. We are disappointed that our incredible staff wasn't able to overcome the conditions on this particular day but we will continue to try to excel in any conditions.

Such a fun adventure!!! The whole experience was pleasant from booking to getting off the tour! Kenzie was our guide; she was super down to earth and you could tell that she loved what she was doing. We sadly got stuck taking our tour on a randomly chilly day in June but even with that unfortunate circumstance it was a blast! Perfect level of rapids for us. Definitely worth the 12 hour drive from California.

Our first trip down the Colorado River was amazing! Seth, our guide, was very knowledgeable of the water, rapids, surrounding rocks, and the local area. We had a raft for our own family of four; staying safe during Covid with social distancing. It was great to cool off in the river, and the full day rafting trip was a perfect way to spend the day in Moab!!!

Honestly one of the best adventure experiences I've had. The area is absolutely gorgeous. Our guides (Adam and Charbo) were amazing! We had a fairly large group and the experience was awesome! I also highly recommend doing the full day, as doing the half day would have seemed to be way too short. I would definitely do this again.

We had such a great time on the full day fisher towers trip. Our guide (Leaky) was fantastic! He carries the perfect balance of being knowledgeable, professional, calm, and hilarious.

We had one teen in our group who had never been on a river or in a boat before, and was clearly nervous. By the end of the trip, and with our guide making him feel so comfortable, he was having the time of his life and even swimming outside the raft (when it was safe to do so).

Overall, while the scenery was beautiful and the river was great, it was the Red River guides and their exceptional care and service (not to mention the entertaining stories on the bus) that made this such a delightful experience.

Nice experience with fun guides and beautiful scenery. Enjoyed swimming alongside the raft. Just be aware that the bus drive to the launch area is 45 minutes and the ride back is 30 minutes. This drive time is within the 1/2 day experience. I think all the outfitters are the same so just an FYI. Barely any rapids in August 2021. For sure no more than class 1.
