Meet at our Moab Office (745 Kane Creek, Moab, UT) at 8:15 AM for your trip. Fill out waivers and get suited up for the river! From here we will shuttle you to and from the river - our office has free parking for our guests.  Hit the river! At this point you will receive a brief safety orientation and paddle instruction before we get going. Once on the river, enjoy the beauty of nature's playground and cool down through mild Class II "splashes"! Your guide will be pointing out geology and sharing the history of the area along the trip. Stop mid-way through the day for a provided, deli-style lunch along the river. Hit the river for some more fun, then return back to our office location at approx. 4:00 PM.

Very fun experience. Easy and relaxing between smaller rapids. Super fun day!! All adults on our raft. Other raft had several young children and their guide was so good with them and really engaged them in the whole trip. I would recommend Mild to Wild to anyone.

Man oh man, what a waste of over $400 for what they called a “full day” rafting trip. It was a long day, but not full of rafting. They wanted us there at 8:15am. After waiting around for who knows what, around 9:15am the guides gave us our safety briefing and the life jackets. The safety briefing was good (great job Brody). The life jackets were nasty! Old, smelly and very gross.

We finally boarded the school bus for our drive up river. The bus driver was awful! Not only did he blast talk radio way too loud that made conversation difficult, he drove way too fast, especially considering the bus was pulling a trailer with the rafts. I have my CDL and drive a bus too, this driver would have been disciplined or fired for his driving ability if he were with my company.

After arriving to the spot on the river, we waited another 20 minutes or so while they unloaded and prepped the rafts. Around 1030, we FINALLY got on the raft.

Our guide was Hailey. My wife and I were not impressed at all. She had very little meaningful engagement with the riders. She made it clear that she was bunt out and “so ready” for the season to be over. She made several comments about being “annoyed” with the tourist in Moab. She also gave us no knowledge about the river or surrounding area. She was a total dud as a guide. On a good note when she wasn’t complaining, she was nice to our three kids and she worked hard rowing the raft. She made several comments about how tired she was, how she hates the wind on the river. I really wish we could have had a guide with personality and knowledge of the area, not a total Debbie downer :(

We stopped for lunch around 12:20 for lunch. Lunch was good, and they provided it. A hearty sandwich for a local supermarket.

We then got back on the river for our second half of the “all day” trip. We finally finished and got back on the bus around 3:45 to end our day.

Just be prepared that the “half day” trip is in reality about 2 hours on the actual raft. And the “full day” is about 4 hours, split up with stopping for lunch. It’s A LOT of waiting around. We enjoyed the beautiful river and meeting our other passengers, but left super disappointed in the overall experience. It was much more of a slow river float then a rafting experience.

Based on our experience, for what we paid (over $400) I would never recommend this to other guests.

Awesome adventure on the Colorado River. Ben was out guide and was one of the nicest guys you'll meet. Full day or amazing views, great company and laughs the entire ride. Highly recommend Mild to Wild and definitely ask for Ben! James was also very accommodating and the facility was very well organized. 5 stars!!!

Our trip with M to W was well organized from beginning to end. This was a great way to take in the beauty of Moab. It was refreshing to see generations of families enjoy this trip together. Our guide was confident in his duties and seemed to be the leader. We absolutely loved our rafting guide Nick!
Thanks for the memories!
The only thing that could have been improved were the lunches- but after being in the river, any food was good food!

My wife and I choose to kayak, and we loved it, and we were exhausted by the end. Even though I ended up flipping my kayak in a typical spot (class 2+), the guides were quite helpful in getting me back into the kayak. They were both professional and personable.
