This was his favorite thing during the whole trip. Our tour guide was very informative and generous. There was plenty of beer. I am not the biggest beer drinker so I didn't drink much on this trip (but was offered some and actually enjoyed the sour we had on our tour) but by the end of the tour people were definitely feeling the beer. You will learn the whole process, about each individual company, some history on Asheville. and much more! I recommend this tour if you are a beer lover. I would give this 6 stars if I could! We really enjoyed Cliff's knowledge and enthusiasm for the craft brewing scene. He really knows the art and the history of beer making, as well as the local impact that has made Asheville a beer drinker's destination. We had a great time, learned a lot and sampled some wonderful beers. This was truly a highlight for our time in Asheville and would highly recommend this tour to everyone. Even non beer drinkers will enjoy this trip. Cliff is a wonderful teacher and guide.

This was a fantastic tour and education on the brewery culture of Asheville and beer brewing in general. There were 15 in our group, so small enough to ask questions and get information. The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and being the nerd that I am, I took notes on a few things.
The itinerary we had didn't have a ton of walking which was nice. The 3 breweries we visited were all within 2 blocks of each other and there were 2-3 beers tried at each location.
I would highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in learning more about beer and wants to try some fantastic local brews.

As part of our friend’s bachelorette weekend of adventure we booked a brewery tour with BREW-Ed. Our guide was very personable and tailored our tour to meet the needs of our complex group! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable with the history of Asheville and about all her breweries. I highly recommend!

This brewery tour was AWESOME! I booked it with some close friends and family, some of whom love beer very much and some of whom not as much. We all had a phenomenal time and agree it was the highlight from out visit to Asheville and the Smokey Mountains. Our brew guide Michael was an outstanding speaker and wealth of knowledge when it came to the brewing process and history of beer. His passion for small craft beer shone throughout the tour, and he was able to engage both beer novice and expert. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Asheville, and you'd be in good hands and company if led by Michael.

Cliff led our tour. He is very knowledgeable about beer, beer making and even historical facts about Asheville. Cliff is also has a fun approach. We weren’t craft beer experts, and we still had a great time. He can go deep or stay high, depending on what you need. Great time and the 3 breweries all had unique aspects.

A great tour, which was both educational and very tasty! Cliff was a fantastic guide: I’ve never met anyone who knows so much about beer, yet he makes it really interesting, fun and accessible for everyone. You get to understand (and taste!) the raw ingredients, see the making process, and taste almost every different beer style you can think of (plus some you can’t!). Even if you think you know about beer, you will learn so much more on this tour. As an added bonus, you also get a great overview of Asheville too!

Last minute decision to try a tour on our last evening of vacation in Asheville. They were fully booked. A short time later we received a text of availability due to a cancellation. Awesome communication & easy process to book. Tour was more than enjoying tastings. Learned much & was a nice couple hours of conversation. Recommend.

I’ve been on many beer and brewery tours in many cities (and countries). Mark was one of the very best tour guides. Knowable about beer in general, local breweries and Asheville. This wasn’t one of those general brew tours, Mark was well prepared, selected breweries and beers with care and even making a few changes in specific beers based on the group.
The tour was FANTASTIC, HIGHLY recommended.

I’m SO glad my partner and I did this tour. Our guide Michael was an exceptional host. His passion for craft beer, the city of Asheville, and for people in general made our experience truly memorable and the highlight of our weekend trip to Asheville. We’ll be back again for sure.

I really enjoyed the early Saturday Brew-ed brew tour (11:30 to 1:30, 2 breweries). Cliff was very personable and the information was very interesting. I've toured breweries before and this is a different, more in-depth experience. He was also happy to answer the many questions our tour group had. It was a great time and I would definitely recommend the tour.

We visited 3 I think, but tasted 3-4 beers at each one. Didn’t feel short-changed!

I believe it is rain or shine; but all the breweries are within in 5 minute walk. Also our guide was great to answer any questions you may have; so I would text him directly. FYI - it is a really great tour so I hope you can take it
