After taking a Foods of New York tour a couple of years ago, we thought this would be a good way of learning Asheville's history, along with tasting new and yummy foods. Our guide was an architecture grad and spoke some of building architecture, but not much of the city's

Thanks for letting us know, Linda. I'm sorry that you were disappointed with your experience. We had previously contacted all guests with a refund, taking responsibility when we heard that the tastings were not as planned. It's clear that October 4th was an off-day for us all the way around. But we also heard from other guests on your tour that they enjoyed the tour guide and the touring part. We've been on the Foods of NY tour, and we love it! That New York City tour includes commentary almost 100% of the time. Our tours are a mix of history, architecture, and culinary information. We also allow time for socializing so that the group can enjoy their unique walking and dining experience together. Again, we apologize. We've been running tours every week for ten years, but very occasionally are not at our best. Best regards, Taste Carolina

Thank you for joining us in Asheville! Genevieve had a really nice time with you. Our downtown Asheville tour consists of three savory tastings, all paired with drinks, two sweet stops, and an herb and tea shop. On the day you took the tour, one of the planned savory tastings turned out to be an unexpected sweet treat, and we are contacting guests to make it right. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as we strive to offer fantastic tours week in and week out. Best regards, Taste Carolina
