Overview
Enjoy a leisurely cruise across the Boston Harbor while learning the history of the storied bay on this informative sightseeing cruise. Enjoy world-class views of the city skyline, see historic ships and attractions such as the USS Constitution, Old North Church, Boston Light, the Boston Tea Party ships, the Boston Museum, and more. With multiple departure times, this overview tour is easy to fit into your schedule.
What to Expect
Begin your narrated tour from Boston’s historic Long Wharf pier. Drinks and food are available for purchase on board.

Cruise past the USS Constitution, a circa 1797 frigate named by George Washington and the oldest commissioned ship in the US Navy. You also see the Tea Party tall ships, authentically restored and berthed in the same spot where the Sons of Liberty embarked on their revolutionary act in 1773.

Pass by Old North Church, where Paul Revere is said to have told a sexton how to signal the advance of British troops—”one if by land, and two, if by sea” as poet Henry W. Longfellow wrote—and admire Boston Light, the first light station established in North America.

At the end of the tour, you are returned to the original departure point.

Best time...

...to do cruise is midday, when sun isn't at lower levels. Lots of growth in areas sailed to... very nice hour-long cruise.

Historic and other points of interest.

The boat is comfortable and has light snacks and drinks available. The tour guide gave an informative, on going description of the landmarks, both historic and interesting, in the harbor. Altogether, a worth while 2 hour experience.

Great tour guide!

It was a very windy day, but luckily once on the boat it wasn’t too choppy. The tour was not busy, so there was lots of space onboard. We did the 90 minute cruise, and the Irish guy that did the commentary was excellent, really...More

A 90 min tour of parts of the inner and outer harbour. The commentary was an excellent balance of local historical knowledge, humour and public interaction. Opp an top deck or two lower ones behind tinted windows. Bar and heads on board too. Tip: Go...More

I agree, think it might be too much. Parking would be an issue, there is a fair walk to the peer and then you would need to consider the wait to board and whilst there are seats downstairs you won’t have such good views.

There is an inside & outside. As long as you don't mind the sun (if it's out) then I highly recommend top & outside since you can see everything from up there plus the narrator is there too. Here's an extra tip. If staying... More

I went early in the touring season so I feel like I can’t tell you for certain. I booked the Boston city pass and I don’t remember the reservation process for this cruise. It seemed pretty flexible though because you get on... More
