About
Each tour is lead by an experienced Navajo guide, who is certified by the Navajo Nation Parks & Recreation Dept. and National Park Service. Each and everyone of our guides was born and raised in this Canyon De Chelly area, allowing them to gain a vast knowledge of its history to share with all our guests who visit this place we call home. As well as learning about the canyon's rich history, rock art sites and other archeological sites, you will hear stories and tales of life in the canyon and get a chance to visit our guide's families who still weave, farm, ranch, and continue to live a traditional Navajo lifestyle in this rural part of the southwest. We invite you to join one of our guides on a truly unique and one of a kind tour, and to support this 100% NAVAJO OWNED and OPERATED SMALL BUSINESS!! Very Good Trip but.....
May 2019
We booked the 4 hr. private tour for 2 people at $255 (sr. discount). We were picked up at the Best Western, which was very convenient.

We selected the Canyon Del Muerto . We saw all the First Ruin, Junction Ruin, Ledge Ruin and the Antelope House Ruin. Pit stop at Antelope Ruin location. Flow in the wash was decent but did not impair progress. We should have been able to make the Standing Cow Ruin but did not. The views and explanation of what we were seeing was good but limited.

Our Dine' guide, who grew up in the Canyon, had mobility issues and rarely got out of the Jeep to further explain the sites. Other guided trips were making more progress in the Canyon and their guides were out of their vehicles and lecturing.

"Beauty all around us"
Feb 2020
My husband and I planned a trip to AZ this February to celebrate our 55th Anniversary. We flew to Phoenix and drove 5 hours in order to take the jeep trip though Canyon De Chelly. It was more than worth the extra time on the road. Our departure time from the Visitor's Center was for 1:00, but since we would be facing another 5 hours trip back to Phoenix, we were told to call when we arrived so that we could start our tour early. We were so fortunate to have Leander [Lee] as our Dine guide on our tour into the canyons. Lee was knowledgeable about the history of the area and his people, as well as the day-to-day life of the Navajo who still live there. A person who drives the rim of the canyon or hikes on their own is missing the greatest part of the experience. We would take the trip again and highly recommend the Beauty Way Jeep tours and Lee as a guide. Our tour was the highlight of our time in Arizona!

Beauty jeep tour
Jan 2020 • Friends
Delbert was a wealth of knowledge. It's worth doing a jeep tour as you don't see so much at the top of the rim. You see the petroglyphs and see how people live. A lot easier than walking down from the top.

Leander Following in Beauty Way
Jan 2020
Out tour guide was Leander, son of Navajo company owner. He was very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area and personable. But what we liked most was his personal stories about his family, their beliefs and what it was like to live there. And the Canyon is beautiful, well worth the tour!

Don’t miss out on this MESMERIZING experience!
Dec 2019 • Couples
Don’t miss out on touring the second largest canyon in the USA with this outstanding Jeep company. Unlike most Jeep tours, this company is family owned so the tour guides are able to give you an inside look into the Navajo traditions. Our tour guide was Leander and he went ABOVE and BEYOND and explained everything about the Navajo cultures and traditions. He showed us the different petroglyphs in the canyon and elaborated about each drawing. I learned things about the Navajo traditions that I was never taught before. Let’s face it American history books don’t educate us like they should. I was able to ask Leander questions about what I learned at the Heard Museum in Phoenix. He was able to fill in the blanks regarding the questions I had.

I would highly recommend taking the four hour Jeep tour so you can see the beauty of Spider Rock and hear the stories of how Spider Woman lives at the rock and what her role was in the weaving traditions of the Navajo people. This is a beautiful place to visit in mid December. The lighting in the canyon was not as bright as in the summer or fall so we could see the beautiful dimensions and colors of the canyon better. There was plenty of livestock to see, as we saw bulk, deer, wild turkeys, cattle and horses. Leander started the tour with the Jeep roof on and gave us the option of removing it. It felt like a crisp autumn day out so half way into the tour my husband and I said we wanted it off. This was a beautiful early Christmas present to ourselves and this mesmerizing experience will remain with us forever. Now it is your turn. Call and book with Leander soon!

Excellent tour by a Navajo guide born in the Canyon.
Oct 2019
Our guide(David) has lived most of his life in the Canyon and went out of his way to show us highlights not always seen by other tour groups. He also gave us a very good explanation of the different inhabitants of the canyon.

Exceeded our expectations!
My husband and I visited Canyon de Chelly a few weeks ago. Beauty Way Jeep tours was recommended by four friends here in Napa. We were so happy with our 4 hour tour with Delbert! His deep knowledge about his heritage home is both remarkable and approachable. We learned a great deal about local Navajo history, culture and archeology. Everything about the tour provided us a sacred glimpse into this truly magnificent canyon.

Perfect Tour
Oct 2019 • Couples
I reviewed 12 authorized tour operators for a Canyon de Chelly trip and chose Beauty Way Jeep Tours based on the reviews. All communication with the company was timely and professional. We received several confirmation emails and two text messages. Our guide met us exactly on time. Delbert has a wealth of knowledge. It was interesting to hear about his family members currently living in the canyon. Delbert stopped to allow us to take additional photos. The entire trip felt relaxed and unhurried and yet we saw both canyons and all the sites. Highly recommend this tour operator.

Leander and his family have lived in the canyon one way or another for generations. He knew a lot about Navajo history and culture and the archaeological sites. He even showed us the family hogan. I recommend Leander without reservation.

What an extraordinary experience
Sep 2019 • Couples
Our guide was David Wilson, the trip was amazing back to Spider Rock inside Canyon De Chelly! Very knowledgeable guide, took his time to make sure we had all the pictures we wanted. Saw many wild turkeys, deer and the best part was at the end as we were about 30 mins to the end of our tour a black bear came down a small hill into our view! Once in a lifetime! Highly recommend this group!
