Great Day. We highly recommend it.
Aug 2021
Rick was our tour guide. He was fun and knowledgeable. Carlos, the bus driver, was great too. My husband and I enjoyed Rick's stories, so maybe that was the best part of the experience. Also the food was fantastic.

We've lived in the New York area our whole lives, but we learned a whole lot today!

We went in August, and the bus A/C was pretty cold, so if you're sensitive to A/C, wear a sweater. Most of the tour is on the bus.

Great Brooklyn tour
Aug 2021
Went on the tour on Saturday. Our tour guide, Laurie was very knowledgeable and personable. The tour gave you a great overview of Brooklyn and it's neighborhoods and food. The food was varied and good. You even had the option of walking back to Manhattan over the Brooklyn Bridge. I would highly recommend this tour. NYC is open!

A Wonderful Tour
My family and I went on the tour today and had a great time and learned a lot. Laurie was fun and so knowledgeable and Juan was a skilled and personable driver. The food at every stop was really delicious and authentic. The pizza was absolutely amazing. I learned so much about Brooklyn and was amazed at how big it is and how many neighborhoods it encompasses. Overall it was a fabulous tour that I would highly recommend.

Fabulous!
The tour was superb. The tour guide was fantastic, engaging and very knowledgable. She knew her market very well, and her tour touched on so many little facts that were so interesting to know.
The driver was great! He read the traffic, got out of road blockages and drove very smoothly.
The tour took us to some great eating places and the local delicassies were great! Especially the meatballs and the cannoli
Thank you! Would highly recommend

What a great fun day for our family, teenagers through grandparents
Dec 2019
Once a year we get together as a family to do something special in lieu of Christmas presents. How do you satisfy the twelve of us ranging in ages from late teens to, well I'm not saying how old the grandparents are?

This year we took this Best of Brooklyn tour and we all haven't stopped talking about what a wonderful time we had.

A worry we have each year is that our teenage grandchildren will be bored with what their parents and grandparents might enjoy. Not a problem this year! They loved it, were totally engaged and say how hard it will be for next year's adventure to top this one.

Aside from the great selection of places to visit in the diverse borough of Brooklyn and the wonderful food samplings, a large measure of the success of the day for us was our guide, Laurie. Knowledgeable, funny, engaging, organized and thoughtful, she went above and beyond to make the day special for everyone on the tour. She brought out the highlights of the neighborhoods we visited with such enthusiasm, you felt the essence of what makes Brooklyn such a fascinating, vibrant place

As someone who lived at various times in Brooklyn, I cannot recommend this tour more highly.

Fantastic
Feb 2020 • Solo
As a solo traveller from Australia this was a great tour for me. Laurie was a great guide - very friendly and knowledgeable not only about Brooklyn but NYC too. The food stops were excellent- a bit like being let in on a Brooklyn secret that only the locals know about. Food was delicious and there was a bit of time between each stop. It’s definitely made me want to return and explore Brooklyn further. I highly recommend!!

Worth it.
Excellent. Didn’t know what to expect as not done a guided tour before but this was brilliant and exceeded expectations. Laurie is such a great guide, she made it really fun and I really liked how she referenced her personal experiences too to bring the whole thing to life. Choices of restaurants were brilliant:
1. Meatball restaurant. Can’t compliment enough. Amazing meatballs and the sauce is to die for.
2. Falafel place. Nice addition. Falafel was great!
3. Ukrainian restaurant. Brilliant choice as diversifies your food tastes.
4. Pizza place. Best pizza I’ve ever had hands down.
5. Bakery. The smell in there is divine. Massive choice of baked goods, the owner is a true master. Cakes looked unbelievable!
6. Chocolate shop. Chocoholic’s paradise.

Overall an excellent trip and a nice change from Manhattan. Gets you out of the hustle and bustle of the big city into a quieter area where you can really get the feel for the everyday life.

Highly recommended.
