I had done a couple of duelling piano bars before and was trying to explain to my folks what it was like. They could not have imagined it to be this good.

This is the BEST duelling piano experience I have ever had and these guys are SO talented. It is such a fun, feel good experience that it is impossible not to enjoy!!

We booked tickets way in advance and I would suggest doing the same. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you guys.

Incredible talent! I was out all day yesterday and fairly exhausted but decided to try since I heard they were once a month. The plan was to stay for 20 minutes. I stayed for hours. It was the best dueling piano show I have seen in my entire life across many continents and countries. The energy was contagious! They are hidden, and they are great at what they do. The pair brought on a third who was remarkable as well. I was planning to go to Caribbean brunch today but if not, I would be there again today. They are that talented and the range is remarkable. There is no genre they do not touch. They are the piano men that Billy Joel sang about! A must see!!!

Found out about the Duelling Piano show online and took my two Welsh mates with me on a Saturday night at the Rattle N Hum West bar. We were sat right by pianos with a great view of the show. It’s perfect entertainment if you love music beer and banter! Enjoyed the fireball shots 👌🏽. Definitely recommend them to anyone.

This should have been a great experience. Unfortunately, as many of the other reviewers noted, the piano players spend most of the time soliciting tips. They actually start to play a song and if someone offers more money, they stop in the middle of the song and change to a new song. During the 2 hours we were there I don't think I heard a single song from start to finish. Shame, should be a great place, but it feels more like a touristy shakedown joint.

Hi Richard - First, we wanted to thank you for celebrating your 55th anniversary at our sold out show. As you can see by the very next review below this one, the entire audience was enjoying the show, singing, dancing, laughing along for more than 3 straight hours. The show did start 10 minutes after 10, which is not unusual for cabaret shows, as we do allow a few minutes for our out of town guests to find their way to our venue. As to our description, we are absolutely an all-request singalong show, and have been for over 12 years. I'm not sure what you feel didnt fit that description. We will reserve comment on calling us a 'tourist trap', except to say that more than 50% of the audience at the show you attended were international guests from the UK, Brazil, Canada, Australia and all across the USA, and they all stayed with us til well past 1am. I am sorry the show did not match your expectations, but we strive to create a fun, enjoyable atmosphere, and we are very proud of the show, the environment and the enjoyment our guests feel week after week.

We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday here. We were visiting from the UK and we were made to feel very welcome. The guys are very talented and made a fuss of my husband and the fact that he was turning 40 by getting him up the front, making him dance and giving him a free shot. I would highly recommend. We paid for a front table and it was totally worth it. We did request a song but didn't feel pressured to spend heaps of money on requests like other reviewers have said! A really fun night out with great music.

I'll start with the pros:
- Everyone gets a seat
- Performers knew a lot of songs
- You can get up and dance if you want to

Cons:
- Unnecessarily loud. It's not a large venue, but the microphone were very loud and the MC literally kept yelling into the mic. WHY.
- Price gouging. On top of paying for your table and a 2 drink minimum, you have to pay to request a song. And, your song can be trumped by someone paying more money to stop your song. So you can pay $20, the performers start your song, and someone pays $21 and they start playing their song. The whole night felt like a ploy to line their pockets.
- They changed a lot of the words to make juvenile jokes (including references to Weinstein and Epstein)
- This was less about playing piano and more about trying to get the audience to pay money, clap their hands, etc.

Bottom line is if you want an interactive performance with jokes, lyric changes, etc. this is the spot for you. But if you want to hear musicians play songs on piano, Id go elsewhere.

Hi - thanks for coming to our sold out show! After reading your review, we wanted to send a quick note. Many of the issues you raised are entirely the point of a Dueling Pianos show - it is NOT supposed to be a concert, but rather a PARTY. It is meant to be 100% interactive, where the crowd is as much a part of the show as we are. Clapping along, singing along, dancing along...all the things you mentioned, are the very point of the show, not a negative byproduct. We're sorry if you weren't clear about what Dueling Pianos is, or were looking for more of a concert environment. That's definitely NOT what our show is. Now, as to your comment about 'price gouging'. Again, there seems to be some confusion about piano bar etiquette. At ANY piano bar, ANYWHERE in the world, when you request a song, you tip the piano player. That's how they make their living. That's not something unique to our event. Hopefully this can clear up any confusion. Thanks again!

Highly recommend this show. Mark and Sean do their best to get the crowd involved and once things get started the party and sing-along begins. Mark was very gracious when an error was made with our VIP seating and went above and beyond to make sure all was right again. The show is highly entertaining and these 2 guys are really talented. Yes it's R rated, yes they work hard for their tips and yes your song might get cut off if someone out tips you but that's what's makes it that much more entertaining. Thanks for a great evening. We'll be back.

Hi Eric! Thanks so much for the kind review! We try to be 100% accurate with our reservation system, but when those rare miscommunications occur with our ticketing agents, we want to make sure our customers are happy. We apologize again for the inconvenience to your group, and we're thrilled you enjoyed the show! We look forward to having you back with us again soon, and your front row seats will be waiting!

We saw the dueling pianos in Seattle and loved them. The guys were hilarious and charismatic. Didn't love the NYC version, less singing more screaming, no charm. The humor is raunchy, derogatory, several sarcastic insults at audience members. If going be sure to calculate, ticket + min 2 drink/person + lots of cash to hear your song played.

Hi. Thanks for coming to our sold out show. We always appreciate feedback As any regular piano bar patron should know, requests are always accompanied by a tip for the performers-it’s how they make their living. The show is adult in nature so the comedy does tend towards the R rated. As for our charm, bless your heart.

While the piano players were talented, it was incredibly annoying that someone in the audience had to pay for EVERY song played. They encourage bidding wars, and as soon as you pay $20 to hear your requested song, the piano players play it for a short period of time until someone interrupts by throwing a written request with more money to either (1) stop playing the song or (2) play their song instead. You end up hearing a lot of talking and only snippets of any songs requested. Offers to play a requested songs were as high as $100 for a single song. Few songs were played in their entirety. When they were actually playing it was fun, but the obnoxious bidding to hear partial songs annoyed us to no end.

Hi Susan! Thank you for your feedback on our sold out show. What you're describing is part of the core of dueling pianos-the audience is fully in charge of the show every night, picking what songs get played, and what does not. It's what makes this show unique and interactive. Some nights there are more 'battles ' than others, but that's just part of the fun. The majority of the songs were played in full, but our audience always stays in control of the show, like a live jukebox. We hope to see you back with us again, to see a different night with an entirely different slate of songs from our unlimited playlist....
