NYC Mafia Tour - Little Italy, China Town, 5 Points. This tour was mainly centred around Little Italy. The guide was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. The only down side that I would say about this tour, if you don’t know anything about the NY Mafia (or very little) would be worth brushing up a bit. There were plenty of names and situations that the guide mentioned that didn’t really mean anything to us. So something to be aware. This is not a complaint about the tour by the way.

We had a great time on this walking tour. Our guide was on time and very informative using the Pad to show us lots of photos that showed how things once looked like back in the day. He also was very knowledgeable when we asked any questions and gave great answers with good humor. Its just amazing how the areas have changed over the years but still have a great feel as a traveler from Europe and huge gangster fan.

My husband's favourite film is the Godfather, so this was a treat for him. We booked this tour from the UK with Robin. The communication was quick and easy and Robin was able to tailor the tour to meet our specific needs. In preparation for the tour, we watched a number of Mafia documentaries and films, which helped us understand the family structure and become familiar with their most infamous characters, of which there's many! Robin contacted us a number of times before the tour, which was reassuring. And on the day of the tour, we were picked up from our hotel in a luxury vehicle and Jules, our guide, whisked us around the various sites. It was so interesting to see the other side of Manhattan and Queens which we wouldn't have seen on a traditional tour. And wow! What Jules doesn't know about the Mafia is not worth knowing! What a font of all knowledge - he should appear on Mastermind! Since getting home, we've been watching more Mafia documentaries and to be able to recognise some of the places on film is such a thrill for us! Joel was extremely knowledgeable. His research was thorough and well presented. Using the ipad is helpful. He was attentive to how he assembled us a group using shaded areas and concern for safety. I would suggest that he is aware of how quickly he speak as sometime procesing all the information can be daunting.

This was by far the best tour we've ever done. The guide was incredible. He had so much knowledge about every aspect of the mob and was able to keep it interesting with true stories followed by taking us to the locations he was talking about. He was animated and had an answer for every question. This tour was a priceless experience and we would recommend it to anyone that is interested in learning more about the mob and movies associated with that time.

Stunning experience of all things mobster. Joel was superb with his style and fast paced delivery. Great insight on the history of the people and the area. We were even blessed with an appearance of a modern day local “character” towards the end of the tour. Magical experience, would highly recommend.

We just went took a tour and had Joel our tour guide and Alex our tour driver for the private 6 hour driving tour…it was worth every penny! Joel was so well informed and provided such great education to us from start to finish! There was never a dull moment. We started downtown from our hotel throughout downtown, Niers Bar in Queens (which was absolutely delicious by the way and service was great), and saw sooo much more in between and took lots of photos. I highly recommend this tour if you have a chance with your family and friends. So glad we did this for my husbands birthday and will definitely be contacting Robin again so we can request Joel for another tour!

We loved the tour! Very professional and entertaining despite the bad weather. It's fascinating to see the locations that some of the most notorious gangsters frequented.

The tour showed original locations of mafia history in New York. The guide was able to take people back in time with his stories. He convinced with a great background of knowledge. For fans of mafia movies, this tour is a must and a one hundred percent recommendation!
