We went to a Japanese restaurant, cookie shop, Latin eatery and a Mediterranean restaurant. The guide was interesting, knowledgeable and attentive and the food was great. She gave us history of the area as well as information about the restaurants. The only issue was the first restaurant where we were to meet did not seem to know that we were coming but it worked out.

What a delight this tour was?!! Our guide, Jennifer, was gracious, entertaining and very accommodating (as she had to wait on our arrival - we were a tad late to the meeting place)! The first stop was at Gyu-Kaku where we cooked our own delicious strips of beef at the in-table grill. It was my first such experience and I can't wait to do it again! We moved on to 3 other locations where we sampled a multi-cultural sandwich; empanadas and plantains; and the piece de resistance was a doughnut ice cream sandwich - another first for me. The distance we walked between stops was well balanced so that this septuagenarian could easily keep up, without playing the "age card"! I don't think anyone knew. I loved it and would highly recommend this tour!

Our guide Kevin was a joy to spend the afternoon with! His background makes him an expert on history and NYC. We learned so much from him and laughed the afternoon away with great conversation.

The food was to die for! Never would have tried many of the restaurants if they weren’t on the tour, so it was a very special experience.

This ended up being our favorite part of our trip, would highly recommend, and would do it again ourselves!!

Our tour guide Annabel was awesome. The food was great and plenty for lunch. This is a walking tour, don’t want to give too many details but the meeting place was a Japanese bbq restaurant and it was so good. I think it was my favorite and the tour ended with a sweet ending!

Our tour guide Nancy did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the Hells Kitchen area and taking us to a variety of interesting restaurants. Our entire group enjoyed learning how the area started and in seeing the vast amount of restaurants. She was extremely helpful in pointing out and sending suggestions all kinds of restaurants to try when we return. I would recommend this tour for the history as well as food.

Our guide was knowledgeable about the food and history of the area. We had an enjoyable, small intimate group which was nice. The food samplings were quite varied and tasty. I especially enjoyed the japanese sampling but the others were tasty. The donut dessert was quite unique and filling but also delicious. Each sampling was a different ethnic food. I would recommend the food tour as long a walking is not a problem.

We've done a lot of food tours, most were awesome. This one was OK. Why? Expectations were too high based on the marketing on TripAdvisor. Annabel was sweet and did a good job. Their site said, "All while walking from one amazing food place to the next". We may have walked a third of a mile. We ate outside of one place. One place was closed, yet we were able to share a sandwich (City Sandwich, best place on tour). We did not interact with proprietors, which I expected we would.
