What to expect
For this day trip to Ithaca from NYC, meet at 5am at Port Authority Bus Terminal on 8th Avenue in New York City. Once you board your air-conditioned coach for your ride to Ithaca, sit back and relax because the drive takes a little over four hours. Your coach also has Wi-Fi you can take advantage of along the way. When you arrive in Ithaca, meet your guide and get ready for your 1.5-hour tour. The area is well-known for it’s beautiful wildlife and waterfalls. Follow your guide to four waterfalls, and snap pictures of the scenery. Listen to stories about the city’s history, and learn about Cornell University’s traditions. After your journey to the waterfalls, your guide leads the way to an area full of shops, restaurants, and galleries. You can grab a meal or shop (own expense) before going back to the bus terminal. Hop back on a coach bus for your long ride back to New York City.
