What to expect
Your tour begins outside of St. Paul’s Chapel in Lower Manhattan at a time to suit your schedule — one of the many benefits of a private tour. Your guide explains the significance of the church, which became a sanctuary for rescue workers and mourners in the wake of the terror attacks. Browse moving memorials inside the church before heading to the National 9/11 Memorial. See structures such as Brookfield Court, formerly known as the World Financial Center, and listen to personal accounts of the terror attacks from your guide. See, too, the Fireman’s Memorial and ponder the gravity of 9/11 at the reflecting pools, two colossal waterfalls built on the former site of the Twin Towers. Read the names of some 3,000 victims inscribed on the side of the monument. Upgrade to One World Observatory Admission Following your tour of Ground Zero, you’ll head to the One World Observatory to sail past the usually long lines and head straight up to the 100th-floor observation deck in a super-speed elevator. Absorb stunning views of the Big Apple from a 1,250-foot (365-meter) vantage point and if you can conquer your vertigo, walk out on the Sky Portal and gaze downwards through a glass-bottom floor.

Walking Tour with Alison
Mar 2020
I took my 11, 14, & 15 year-old boys on the walking tour of Ground Zero with Alison Rose. Though we thought we already knew so much about this historical event, Alison had many new insights to share. Her perspective as a New Yorker and her personal experience from that day really engaged our family and made the history come alive for my boys. We were blessed with a sunny, New York day and to see the buildings and memorials in this light was amazing. The tour is on foot, but the area covered is really only a handful of blocks, making it very manageable for families even with younger children. I would highly recommend the walking tour of Ground Zero when in New York!

Simply A Must In NYC
This beautiful respectful tour hosted by the very awesome & knowledgeable Elizabeth has an incredible emotion attached to this life changing event.
Elizabeth's story & version of the day is so amazing that I'm not going to say what here, because you need to book her tour & hear how that day evolved through the eyes of then a young teen & someone so close to the event it will leave you speechless...
On this well paced tour you get to visit, see & hear be touched by this history -
Questions are welcomed & in true
NYC fashion you get nice & close to other members of the group. (just embrace the experience is best...)
We are from Melbourne Australia & have not stopped telling our friends about this tour - from the amazing church, through to the even more amazing survivor tree - add in the ever seemingly endless water fall at the former North & South tower sites.
You best allow a full day to tour then be given a VIP entry into the museum were you can explore the stories & some of the equipment retrieved from the rubble. There is areas to take heaps of pics & there are areas that in respect of those families that lost loved ones you can not - I ask please respect the rules & staff's wishes & pass it on to others -
Can I say Just Wow about this tour.... Elizabeth does provide the information to explain the how & now of this world changing event...
5 stars is not enough....
Elizabeth, we thank you for your story, it will live with us for a very long time ...

Excellent
We expected it to be good and expectations were were exceeded. So much more behind the scenes information than you could get from a guide book. Hal, our guide, was great. Easy pace-nice tour.

Great, Well-Rounded Tour
Jan 2020
Peter, our tour guide was simply outstanding. He shared so much history as well as personal stories and touches only someone very closely affected by the tragedy could share. He also provided the perfect amount of comedic relief when needed! The tour was extremely respectful. I would highly recommend this tour!

Great Tour Guide
Amy our tour guide gave our group of 23 a really great overview of the events that happened on that memorable day 9/11. I was a solo participant in the group. We started in front of St. Patrick's Chapel which was a survivor building. We saw the graveyard and bell as well as views from the back of the church. The bell is rung once a year on the 9/11 anniversary. Amy then took us to see the wall monument and plaque dedicated to the fireman who gave their lives on that day. We also went to the building designed by Calatrava known as the Occulus because the top opens to reveal a view of the One World Trade Center building. It is also symbolic because the building is supposed to resemble the wings of a dove. Lastly, she led us to the ground zero area and told us about the north and south pools and waterfalls. She explained the meaning of the waterfalls and their symbolism. She also showed us the Survivor tree and explained it's symbolism and how well it is protected and maintained. Something new I learned is there are actually 7 buildings in the whole complex that were destroyed and they are continuing to rebuild them. There are still 2 buildings to be finished. Our tour concluded with Amy giving us our 2 tickets included in the tour , but to be done on our own. One ticket for the 9/11 underground memorial building and a separate ticket for the Observation deck at the One World Trade building. The tour is basically a great way to relive the events on that day from a New Yorkers point of view and prepare for the museum and One World Trade Tower. I highly recommend it.

Informative and respectful
Dec 2019 • Couples
Michael Cohen was our private tour guide for the 9/11 Memorial and Ground Zero walking Tour. Mike was an impressive guide, very well informed and so in tune with the respect and emotion this area deserves. Starting our tour with a discussion of where we each were that day just brought such a personal beginning.

Private Tour Was AMAZING!
Dec 2019
I took all of my employees to NYC for their Christmas celebration and this tour was definitely the highlight of the weekend thanks to Ryan McConville. He was able to interject his personal experiences into the tour, which made it even more realistic and emotional. He was extremely articulate and spoke clearly so even my employees that have a slight hearing defect could understand clearly, I would highly recommend this private tour and would ask that Ryan be your tour guide. He is definitely one of the best I have had and I have toured many memorials.
