About
NEW: For a special treat, book my new Sunset tour offered at 6 pm on Saturday, and watch the sun set and Manhattan skyline come alive. All tours are delivered in English, and by the proprietor Scott, and feature small groups. Enjoy a 3-hour, 3-mile stroll with a 30-year resident of Brooklyn. I'll lead you to the most picturesque photo ops and find corners that only a local would know. Learn about the history of the people, eras, and technology that defined Brooklyn's rise. We'll pass by the homes of some very famous stars of TV and film, as well as through shoot locations you will almost certainly recognize from popular TV and films. You'll end up in NYC's hottest neighborhood, Dumbo, home of NYC's best pizza. Make time for lunch and, during warm-weather weekends, to browse Brooklyn Flea for a bespoke, vintage souvenir. This is a walking version of my popular, five-star rated bike tour, also listed on Viator.

Nice tour by a nice and well informed guide
Very nice tour; beautiful views from the Brooklyn part of the city. Svott knows his way through town and knows where TV and movie stars live. Combined with the history of the place.

An outstanding tour of Brooklyn with Scott!
We covered a lot of ground on our 2-hour cycling tour and leaned so much! Scott is a polymath. He spoke knowledgeably about the history of Brooklyn and the landmarks we paused to admire. We stopped at a few statues along the way and Scott explained who the statues honored and why these people were important to Brooklynites. He pointed out the various architectural styles along the route and how these evolved over time. He explained the history of the different bridges that connect Brooklyn with Manhattan, told us when they were built, the materials that were used in their construction and why the chosen materials changed over time. What we most enjoyed was our tour through Brooklyn Bridge Park and Scott's explanation of the park's development and the extensive efforts made to ensure the sustainability of the park - including through the selection of materials and reuse of existing structures. All in all, Scott is an outstanding tour guide. We're so glad we chose to spend a morning with him!

    Loved every minute.
We thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride with Scott. His knowledge of the area was extensive and the tour was leisurely we did not feel like we were being whisked from place to place without chance to take in the sights. Whilst in Brooklyn Heights and stopped outside one of the stars houses, Amy Schumer, Scott was telling us that she lived there and the next thing she appeared in her car from the house and started waving and calling out to us. I like to think that Scott had orchestrated this as part of the tour 😂. Anyway it was a memorable moment and with or without Amy I would recommend this tour with Scott.

Excellent tour with an excellent guide!
The tour was perfect for us. Scott is a fantastic guide. He kept us safe on our ride across the Brooklyn Bridge and on our tour of a couple neighborhoods in Brooklyn. It rained a little bit on us, but the ride was great. We got some amazing pictures. Scott knows the area well and knows how to navigate the city streets. He's friendly and personable. We enjoyed the entire tour. Thanks!

    Great Bike Tour
We really enjoyed the bike tour. Scott was very nice and informative. On our own we would never have experienced the areas Scott introduced us too. The length and physical activity of the tour was perfect.

Best Way to See the City
Scott did an amazing job of showing us around New York. He asked what we wanted to see and he made it all happen and then some. He provided great historical details for some of the locations and made sure we went to all the best apots for pictures! I have a feiend who is a travel agent and she said we saw more places in 1 day then she has seen in 4 visits. Highly recommend-no better way to see the city!

    Great tour, spectacular views
Great experience to get a spectacular view on Manhattan and learn about the history of a very pretty part of New York called Brooklyn. This was the first time we went to Brooklyn and we will definitely return to see more.

Highly recommend this trip, fantastic experience
The Brooklyn Bridge Waterfront Guided Bike Tour with Scott was fantastic. We went on a Saturday afternoon. Scott was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Before the trip- I was concerned that riding bikes in Manhattan and Brooklyn would be difficult- but the route Scott chose was perfect- surprisingly easy to maneuver without a ton of vehicle or pedestrian traffic. The sights were beautiful. The price was extremely reasonable for the experience. We would highly recommend this trip.

    Scott is the Man!
First of all, Scott is a hero for dealing with my two young daughters and their sassy attitudes like a pro. He was considerate to our needs, etc. As far as a tour guide, he is one of the best I have ever had. He obviously loves Brooklyn and he has pro knowledge of the area. Would recommend 100%.

My niece Carolina visited from Greece, and we thought the walk on the Brooklyn bridge will be amazing
The actual walk on the bridge connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan was an experience. We were able to take pictures of the two borroughs and especially the bridge itself, which has an interesting history. The transformation of Brooklyn area ( DUMBO) to this trendy place to hang out and live away from the noise of Manhattan, was also amazing. The Brooklyn Park is a little oasis of nature for the neighborhood and visitors. My niece was so excited that she got to feed a friendly squirrel! Thank you Scott for a tour to remember! Evangelia & Carolina

    Fantastic Brooklyn Bridge Tour!
Fantastic tour. Covered a lot of Brooklyn’s sights and charms in a fun way and at a good manageable pace. Scott was a really good guide and gave us anecdotes throughout and kept the tour enjoyable and fun. He also gave us lots of recommendations during the trip and even afterwards for the rest of our time in New York. Thank you so much!

Scott’s tour is the most competitively priced walking tour available for Brooklyn and is the best tour to do! Scott whatsapped on day of tour with location and timings, gave us a comprehensive walking tour across the bridge, around Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights, and he took countless pictures at request with a smile! Couldn’t fault this tour. At this price I would do this tour over and over again as you really get your money’s worth! DO IT!! You won’t regret it.

A really enjoyable walking tour of Brooklyn, including the famous Brooklyn bridge. Many great photo opportunities, including the breathtaking New York skyline, as well as the beautiful Brooklyn waterfront, park & DUMBO - with its exciting bars, shops & buildings. Scott, our guide was extremely knowledgable - & we learned many interesting facts about New York, & Brooklyn. A 3 hour walk flew by, & for £10 per person great value for money. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. Thanks again Scott.

Scott leveraged his 3+ decades of experience to create a personal, interesting, and informative journey through both New York and Brooklyn history. We got numerous sneak peaks and hacks, which were extremely useful on this trip and for future knowledge. We had a great time and very much appreciated Scott's hospitality.

Scott was fantastic from start to finish, his communication prior to the tour was extremely helpful. During the tour Scott was very friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable. We learnt so much, the time flew by because we were so engaged with what Scott was telling us. You could tell he loved his hometown of Brooklyn. I would highly recommend Scott’s tour and will be passing on his information to family and friends.

Would highly recommend taking this walking tour of Brooklyn with Scott. He is very knowledgeable which makes the tour so interesting. Going with an official guide means you are guaranteed to see best parts and great photo opportunities. We loved Brooklyn and went back again the following day for a pizza restaurant recommendation from Scott called
Julianos. It didn’t disappoint. Thank you.

There’s no better way to get to know a city than by foot, and no better guide than the gentleman we had. If you’re into history, architecture, or pop culture and entertainment, this tour is for you. Solo traveller? The guide is a former art director and will make sure you get some great scenic shots to share with family and friends.

We booked Scott for a walking tour of Brooklyn bridge and Brooklyn. Communication was excellent, Scott text us to confirm and with meet up details including a google maps link. He then explained the history of the buildings and the area leading up to Brooklyn Bridge. Walking over the bridge Scott was so knowledgeable, he made it so interesting! He even took photos of us in the perfect spots. Then my favourite bit, we strolled through the quiet leafy streets of Brooklyn heights, it’s was fantastic and after the bridge walk, the quiet and dappled shade of this wonderful neighbourhood was needed. Then on to Dumbo… food heaven! At the end of the tour, Scott produced gorgeous homemade ice cold lemonade! I highly recommend this tour.. this guys know his stuff 😊

Our guide was very engaging and knew a lot of history and facts about the Brooklyn Bridge and nearby areas on the Brooklyn side of the river we walked through. Highly recommended! If in summer make sure to bring a water bottle!
