Learned so much, the tour was great! It wasn't too much for my 78 year old mom, but I recommend tennis shoes.

Last Tour of our Vacation
We actually did the Franklin Footsteps Tour as the last tour of our four days in Philadelphia. It was a good summary of all the history we saw in the city and Bill, our tour guide, was well versed in that history as a 15 year veteran of the Franklin Tour.

A really informative introduction to the city
Oct 2019
We both loved Philadelphia which was our third stop on a trip from Boston to Washington. We took this tour on our first morning. Clark was very entertaining and informative. The pace of the tour was just right and we came away with a much better understanding of the history of the area and Benjamin Franklin in particular. This tour was one of the highlights of our two week trip and I would recommend it as a good starting point for anyone new to the city.

The guide was very knowledgeable and inspirational, I had goosebumps throughout the tour. He brought me back in time and made me felt as if I was really there during the Franklin days to see the birth of our nation. Highly recommended.

Knowledgable
Aug 2018 • Solo
My guide was knowledgable, responsive to my goals for the tour, and brought me inside some of the places he talked about. It was very hot outside, so the AC places were a great stop. I happened to be the only person on the tour, so the private walk became a way to explore and discuss, not just listen. He met me right at the tour desk inside the visitor center - easy to spot with the costume on! I enjoyed the history lesson and would suggest it to others!
