Next follow your guide through the streets of the historic Old City District to see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House, Franklin Court, Carpenters’ Hall, and the Declaration House, where Thomas Jefferson lived while drafting the Declaration of Independence. Wander down Elfreth’s Alley, the nation’s oldest continuously inhabited residential street, and then end your tour or keep exploring on your own.
