- CameronW11720 contributionsGreat architecture-focused tourExcellent historic tour. Reid knows his stuff on architecture and is highly recommended if you want to drill in on some of that. He is also a charming and entertaining host, the time with him flew by.Written 26 September 2022
- connellw20160 contributionsDiscovering Colonial History TourReid, Was very informative, knowledgeable, and attentive to detail as it relates to the tour. Had a great time! Highly recommend this tour if you happen to visit Philadelphia in the future.Written 4 July 2020
- Janet L0 contributionsColonial-Modern Architecture right before your eyesReid, my guide, was booked through Airbnb. He met us at Ellfretz Alley - the oldest residential street in the 13 colonies - and ended at Society Hill with I M Pei housing development. I found him to be enthusiastic and knowledgeable, able to handle our diverse interests and walking speed. We went inside several landmark buildings but mostly kept moving so that we covered a lot of ground. This tour gave me a great appreciation of the changes on the ground in Philadelphia. 3 hoursWritten 29 March 2019

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Reid was an excellent guide, very well researched and entertaining. We all really enjoyed the tour, especially the sing-a-longs and seeing significant aspects of Hamilton’s life. Reid was very patient answering all of our questions. Loved every minute!
