    Outside not inside
Had a great guide, Brad. Very informative and entertaining. This tour is only viewing homes from the outside. However learned a lot about architecture, city planning, previous and celebrity owners

    Interesting history
We were a group of eight, very interested in history. Brad was full of knowledge and we learned so much. He answered our questions thoroughly. He was easy to hear and understand. The pace of the tour was perfect. He gave suggestions of areas to revisit to dig deeper. We would recommend this tour without hesitation.

    Pretty good.
I enjoyed the walking tour although my brain got a tad scrambled with all of the historical information. Tried to access the Davenport House Museum afterwards as it was to be included in the tour cost, however Davenport knew of no such arrangement. TripAdvisor scam?

    Good overview for subsequent tours
Our guide Zack, though not always historically accurate, was interesting. He laid the foundation for us to ask more poignant questions on subsequent tours. It was a good overview.

    Guide didnt show up
I booked and paid for a civil war tour that should have been today at 10am om the 4th December 2024.  I was at the meeting point 40 minutes before the sheduled departure and waited until 10.10 am but no guide showed up! I have heard nothing from the company! Now I get another mail from them, saying that I have the same tour booked fir tomorrow, which I have never booked and will not attend!  I really thing this whole experience has been so unprofessionel

    Great guide!
We took a private walking tour of historic Savannah with Zach. He was personable, funny, and extremely knowledgeable about the city. And he was very patient with a slower pace for the older people in our group.

    Great Tour
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Guide was a great storyteller which added to the experience. Stopped halfway for a rest stop and to purchase water.

    Five Star Charm
The LOCAL Guide exuded Southern Charm in his knowledgeable Drawl. Savannah’s history was explained in a soothing and entertaining manner. Much better than a previous Charleston tour experience. Highly recommend Brad/Savannah Walks!

    Loved it!
Amazing!! Mr. Spinks knows everything and he is a great teacher. It was a wonderful and enlightening experience. I would definitely do it again. Sidenote: you don't actually go inside of the homes.

    Enjoyable and informative
Great tour with Zach, a Savannah native, who was engaging and personable and kept the small group entertained with information about Savannah during the Civil War and much more.

    Fun and informative guided tour
Great walking tour! Our guide Zack was very informative about the history of Savannah during the time before and during the Civil War. Not a strenuous walk, many stopping points and great photo spots. Make sure to get your guide a Corona when you stop at the bar/restaurant 😊 I highly recommend this tour!

The guide was late and merely counted the people who raised their hands. There were about 30 people on the tour which is way too many. It’s hard to hear unless you’re right up front due to all the action going on around you such as cars, other tours, people walking, etc.
It seems a bit money grubbing to allow that many people on tour when it obviously won’t be as good of an experience. We ran into other tours that had less. We had initially wanted to use a different company, but they ended up sold out.
My husband and I didn’t find the tour to be all that spooky. There was some interesting history, but overall not as much as we expected in terms of ghosts and ghost stories.
Additionally, I have found the company’s responses to poor reviews here to be unprofessional and condescending at best. So, consider reading the responses to poor reviews and decide for yourself.

The tour we were supposed to go on was cancelled, so we did this one instead. Donny, our tour guide, was a personable guy, but his background as tour bus guide was obvious. He was great with facts and the history of Savannah, but ghost tours are about ghost STORIES, and his story telling skills were lacking.

We recommend that guests make their tour expectations known at tour time so that the guide can do his best to deliver a tour that best meets the expectations of all. Another option would be to book a private tour.

Payton was our guide tonight and she was amazing! She was incredibly informative and answered every question we had. It was nice that it was just my husband and I in her tour, it made it more personable. A definite must do if you're into the paranormal plus history! I took a couple picture of the inside of a vacant historical home, when reviewing the photos later on I noticed a girl standing to my left in one photo, she has shoulder length hair and sucken gray eyes. Then in the next picture, she's gone! See for yourself!

We are so glad you enjoyed the tour! Our goal is for each guest to have some sort of an encounter with a ghost. Sounds like you did!!! Our ghost tour has been voted Savannah’s best ghost tour since 1995!

Our tour guide, Elanna, was fantastic. We were fairly big skeptics going in, but her tour guide made us more of a believer. Very cool tour if not for the paranormal side, you get to see the inside of the home that is extremely well maintained.

Changed the time on us a couple of hours before it started because the earlier tour had some kind of glitch. When we met in the square we couldn't find the tour and nobody came looking for us. We finally found a group of people where the tour guide was. He nothing to distinguish him other than a identification badge hung around his neck. When we got there the tour guide was not wearing a mask nor were any of the other participants. Stories were mediocre and sounded juvenile. I've been too much better ones and other historic cities.

Are you sure you joined the correct tour? This sounds nothing like our guides or the type of ghost tour our guides give. After further research, we are certain you took a tour but it wasn’t our tour.

If were not one one of a very small number, I would have bailed out of this tour with the lackluster guide who really had little to tell us and provided very few details that would have brought the stories to life. We got this tour through the Savannah Tour Pass, and I will contact them about dropping this tour. A real disappointment and waste of time. Try whoever your hotel recommends, not this outfit.

Your guide has been a Travel Channel favorite for well over 10 years. We are puzzled as to what you expected but it must not have been a serious study of the ghosts of Savannah. The trolley ghost tours are full of hyper drama and made up stories. Perhaps that is the tour that your should have taken.

Sorry, but this tour was horrible. Don’t waste your money. Our guide couldn’t remember the script or tell a single story start to finish without losing track of the point. If you would like to hear “ummm”. “Uuuhhh” “basically” a thousand times in two very long hours, this is the tour for you. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

Are you sure you are reviewing the correct ghost tour? Our guides have years of experience crafting a fantastic ghost tour. My feeling is you had a newbie guide with another company. Please research and repost with the correct company.

This was an incredible experience with a guide who was a great storyteller. We got to hear about the history of the house and the paranormal stories. We even heard sounds and felt some paranormal feelings during our time there. Overall a great understanding of the history of the house and a unique experience.

The guide wasn’t good at all. Guides make the trip and he talked so quiet, showed up a little late. We have done numerous tours here in Savannah, GA and were excited for this, but after 20 minutes we left the tour.

Thank you for the review. We are a bit at a loss. Your guide gave the ghost tour with the same vigor and excitement that would be expected from any guide. It is a serious ghost tour based on sound paranormal facts and photos. It is not intended to be a theatrical performance. I could certainly see how one could be bored if they didn’t believe in ghosts or even entertain the prospect of their existence. Regardless, this tour has been a Travel Channel favorite for well over 20 years!!
