- dottyc2730 contributionsNot that CreepyOur impression when booking this tour was that we would be having some creepiness. It basically was a walking tour with some stories. We really thought that we would be going into some of these buildings and experiencing possible paranormal activities or hearing the stories within it. That being said, the tour guide was really nice and personable and did make it fun.Written 10 September 2024
- epaulwal20 contributionsEnded in Rain but just the sameWent on a Saturday night tour around Savannah with a friendly and lively host. It was truly fun waking from different bars with her and doing occasionally for a history lesson. Even though it ended with rain, she still finished it out strong and we stayed dry.Written 12 March 2024
- rilesmoper0 contributionshad a great time, Pamela's awesome! Was visiting Savannah solo and wanted to do at least one touristy thing. Heard from a driver that the Creepy Crawl Haunted pub Tour was the best. Ironically I don't drink but I like walking and Pamela is a great story teller and funny as hell.Written 4 January 2024
- sennomm0 contributionsExcellent!Had such a good time, our tour guide was knowledgeable and engaging. The tour had the right amount of spook without any of the cheesy, gimmicky feel of some of the more touristy tours. Highly recommend!Written 5 November 2023
- Scarletta890 contributionsHaunted Bar Crawl was so much funWe had so much fun drinking different drinks at local bars and hearing ghost stories with our tour guide. Would recommend especially in the fall.Written 17 October 2023
- kkmichau210 contributionsGreat Fun, Very Informative! We had a great time with our tour guide (Marissa, I believe) who was charismatic, knowledgeable, and well prepared! Even when our group got a touch rowdy she was able to keep things tight and focused, and often made some room for social banter as she delivered interesting stories and info about the spaces we visited. Definitely would take this tour with her again!Written 17 October 2023
- Sclay220 contributionsMust do in Savannah!Loved this Pub Crawl! Nothing better tha spooky stories in a cool old city with a drink in hand! And we went to some super cool bars that I never would have known about until the tour.Written 16 October 2023

- Robin W0 contributionsNot so CreepyInteresting info, nothing "creepy" and no paranormal activity, just stories. Pierce, the guide, certainly knows and loves his town but this was only an Okay tour. Bars were ill equiped to handle the group and the final one served no Scotch.Written 6 July 2023
- ashcpfeffer0 contributionsSecond Time Guest - Still Loved It!We were so pleased with our tour guide. She had a large (and partially rowdy) group and managed it so well while still keeping things fun. Pam was engaging, knowledgable and a fantastic tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to have some fun while learning creepy info on Savannah, but doesn't want all the jump scares and typical "ghost tour" stuff.Written 21 June 2023

Went on this tour with a group of friends. Andre was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job. He did a great job of explaining the rules at the beginning of the tour, which are completely reasonable. Pretty much, just be respectful to him and others on the tour.
The bars we stopped at were great. He is an amazing storyteller and this made the difference. The same stories told by an average person would still be interesting, but he makes them pop with his skills.

Pamela was a great tour guide. She is very passionate about the history of the city and how the hauntings/ghost stories pertained. We stopped at 2 bars along the way and visited 3 haunted sites including colonial park cemetery (although we couldn’t actually walk through it because it is closer to the public at night). Overall it didn’t knock my socks off but was a fun and interesting experience.

10/10 experience. Andre is a master story teller and a true believer. While my wife believes in the paranormal, I do not. I did this to do something fun for her, expecting it to be a bit lame for me. I was wrong! Whether you believe in ghosts or not, you will have a blast. Entertaining ghost stories and even history lessons—all bracketed by stops at local bars, each with *their* own history and stories! Just remember rule number 1: no matter how much you’re drinking… no talking while Andre is talking! ;)

Major letdown. The guide's demeanor was off-putting from the start—he was rude and arrogant. The group tried to engage with him by making small talk between stories, but he refused to acknowledge us, avoiding eye contact and showing no interest in connecting with the group.
It was pouring rain on the day of our tour, and unfortunately, the tour was not canceled. This meant we wouldn't have received refunds if we chose not to attend. We decided to go, but the tour guide didn't even offer any ponchos or umbrellas. As visitors from another state, we didn't have any rain gear with us. You would think that if a tour is going to proceed in such weather, the guide would at least provide some sort of protection from the rain for paying customers. Glad he had one for himself 🙄
His storytelling was overly theatrical, which might have been entertaining if not for the lack of sincerity and connection. The jokes he made were corny, and when the crowd didn't laugh, he became visibly irritated, which only added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.
After realizing the tour wasn't going to improve, we decided to stay at a bar instead. Save your money.

This is my first time ever leaving a review anywhere…but I had to warn people because it was seriously that bad. Booked this pub crawl on 5/10 for some friends who were visiting from out of town. I’m a Savannah local and have been on several other haunted pub crawls and this was the worst experience ever. Our guide Pierce was slurring this words and could barely keep his eyes open while talking, thought he might fall over a few times because he was swaying around so much. Over an hour and a half into the tour we had only been to 2 bars. 9 people dropped out of the tour if that says anything. Would NOT recommend booking with creepy crawl whatsoever, do not waste your money.

We were on the June 9th tour and our guide was entertaining and knowledeable (he actually worked on Ghost Hunters so had insights). The pubs were fun and the spots had some great history to them, whether or not you believe in the 'ghost' stories.
He dealt with some drunken bachelorettes with class as the whole tour could have been derailed by their loud and drunken (yes I said drunken twice as a couple of them could barely walk). Also, who comes in cowboy boots and high heels for a walking tour? They finally left when he asked them to not talk over him, and it made for a relaxing rest of the evening.
HIGHLY recommend this if your first time to the city as you get some great insights into Savannah.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Savannah history and was happy to provide recommendations and answer questions. However, it felt like 50% of the visit was our guide making a list of good restaurants and bars.
I would recommend this tour for people who really wants to drink every 30min, don't mind waiting for the drunk ones and are not in it for learning stuff. The tour lasted 2h30, of which 50% where spent drinking or waiting for people to come out of bars.

Pamela was our guide and she is great. She was very informative and energetic. She did a great job keeping all the groups participants in ear sight and moving along from place to place. The pubs we stopped at were all very accomodating to get a drink hear a story and move on. We saw many haunted places around Savannah on the way as well.

We had a great time on our pub crawl! It was the perfect mix of spooky with accurate historical details. Our tour guide had a ton of other bars to try out and happily shared additional options for "after the tour" or "next time we came to town." :) Definitely a guy you'd be happy to see again if you ran into him.
We called ahead to ask if it was ok to bring our pup and it was! She was able to go into two of the bars! More time was spent outside walking and learning than in the bars, so it wasn't a big deal for the bar she was not allowed in.

We were very disappointed. I think I bought tickets from the wrong tour company. Pamela (not Pam or Pammy as she was very clear to point out) started the tour by making it clear that she doesn't work more than 2 hours, so we could go into a pub and take our time, but when her two hours were up she was done. This is not the experience I was expecting when I choose this tour and definitely not the southern hospitality I have previously enjoyed in Savannah. Some members of our group left the tour because of the way Pamela (not Pam or Pammy) treated the group. She was kind enough to take a picture of the group with someone's phone at the cemetery, but when another person gave her their phone she yelled at us to get off the steps because we already had taken a picture. Someone in the group tried to show her an image they captured on a previous tour and Pamela said she wasn't interested in looking at it because the person didn't pay attention to her last story. The stories were very long, so I can see how a person would stop listening. At the end of the tour Pamela left the group on the sidewalk. I didn't witness this because I had already left the tour because I didn't pay to be talked to so rudely. The members of the tour enjoyed each other much more than the tour itself. Many of us spoke about how we couldn't believe how we were being treated. Next time I am in Savannah I will be much more careful about choosing a tour like this.

The historic district in Savannah is safe. The tour does not end at the same place it began, but everything around there is within walking distance and there are plenty of garages. We walked there from our hotel and back. We did not use our car once, in fact.

I went on a Sunday and the tour was great! We went back in Oct. during COVID and other than having to wear a mask to go into the bars on the tour everything went smoothly and our guide and group were a lot of fun!

We have a family member who is 20 and cannot drink while the rest of us are over 21, can we buy a ticket for her even though she will not be drinking?

Savannah has very stringent alcohol laws. If the Pub serves only alcohol (no food service), only those that are age 21 are allowed to enter. Everyone’s ID gets checked at the door at those locations. Those under age 21 must wait outside. The tour company does a head count before leaving each location just make sure no one gets left behind. You could call the company 1 (912) 238-3843, if they do not answer, leave a message, they will return your call. Hope this helps, enjoy Savannah it is a fun city.
