    Ghost Stories
History comes alive! Dan is an amazing storyteller and is very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. We had a great time, and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Savannah! Did you know the city is built on the graves of the past?

    Lots of Fun
We were in Savannah on Friday the 13th and thought this would be fun. We enjoyed the history but the stories are not that scary if that is what you are looking for. Our guide (Taylor??) made the tour so much fun!! He was so friendly and entertaining. It was a great time and we really enjoyed ourselves. Thank You!!

Our tour guide (Tyler) was exceptional! Savannah’s history is impressive and eerie but Tyler’s delivery made it all feel very real. Would absolutely recommend!

Excellent, engaging, fun, great storyteller and knowledgeable
Dan was absolutely wonderful! We had a great tour along with our 4 children (ages 3/7/7 and 12). I was worried a 9pm tour would be hard on the kids but Dan is very talented and engaging he kept everyone wide awake. Would love to go on a daytime tour with him.

Great Tour - Especially if you have Dan as a Tour Guide!
Dan is so good at storytelling, as previously stated. He really grabs your attention and is really good at placing his humor in just the right parts of the stories he is telling. I really enjoyed the tour with him!!

    Worth every penny
We took this tour on 4-6-21, and loved it. My teenagers (18 and 15) were interested the whole time. The stories that were told were interesting and relatable to the whole group. I would do this tour again!

    Great start to our weekend.
We took this tour the night we arrived in town. It was a great introduction to the history behind the city with legends and haunts thrown in. This is not a “hokie” waste of time. It’s informative and educational with humor thrown in appropriately. The guide in period dress with the lantern drives it home. We had a good time.

    Take this tour!
Dan is a great storyteller covering the history of the city while mixing in the known and possible haunted tales of many places around town. If you want history instead of hyperbole told by someone with a passion for the paranormal, this is the tour for you!

    Very interesting
I love taking ghost tours when I visit a historic city not just because I like to be scared but also to learn about local folklore. This tour was well narrated and interesting as well as being fun. It also covered some stories I had not heard on other tours. Definitely worth checking out.

    A Total Experience
Dan is The Man! He captures the mood of ghost stories with great ease and keeps you totally enthralled. The walk is easy and the stories, amazing! My husband, who isn't even in to ghost stories, enjoyed the entire tour. I've been on several other ghost tours in other areas of the country. This one is tops on my list.

    Terrific Tour
This was a great tour all the way around. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Savannah’s history and presented it in a way that left you hanging to his every word, without all the paranormal activity nonsense. Very well done and well worth the price of the tour + tip.

Great Walking Tour of Savannah’s Historic District
This was a great way to learn about the city of Savannah’s history and why it’s considered one of the most haunted cities. Our guide was a great storyteller and very knowledgeable. The 90 minutes seemed to fly by. Highly recommended!!

    Great tour
We booked this tour while visiting from New York. Loved it! We did the 7:30 pm tour which was perfect for us. Loved how the tour guide was dressed and his lantern!

    Spectacular tour!
Dan was fantastic! Took the 9:30 pm tour. You walk for 90 minutes, through the neighborhoods and Squares. Lots of great history- not hokey at all. This tour was worth twice what we paid!

I felt I got a good sense of old Savannah from the tour. there was a lot of history weaved into the ghost stories. You saw a ton of buildings and squares as your walked around the historic area.

Our 7pm Friday tour sold out a week in advance so buy your tickets early !

Our family went on the Candlelit Ghost Tour in February and we had a fabulous time. It was the perfect combination on scary and informative. Our tour guide did a great job. His costume and the fact that we were walking in the dark with a lantern really added to the atmosphere. We would highly recommend this tour to families, couples or even a single traveler. I would even do it again on my next visit to Savannah.

Weaving keen historical context with mood and humor, Dan was an engaging presence throughout the 90 minute tour.  While this was a ghost tour, stories were linked to factual occurrences, making the experience both educational and fun.  We fully recommend!

We went on a dark and stormy night....but seriously, the weather was crap! Dan was our guide and he was interesting and funny, mixing history with haunts. He also told a few stories we had never hear on any other tour which we really appreciated. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great overview of Savannah and the city built on the dead!

This was the best tour my wife and I took while we're down in Savannah! Dan brings the history to life with the facts and story telling of true events that took place. The tour focuses more on the history than the ghosts but that almost makes it creepier! It was a fun walking tour and was engaging throughout. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Savannah if you want to learn more about the city in a fun and immersive experience.

The tour was excellent and very enjoyable even in the heat and humidity. The tour is currently requiring all individuals to wear masks, although it was difficult to socially distance during the tour as it was a group of 10+ walking on sidewalks meant for two. Our tour guide’s name was Dan and he was a very good tour guide - knowledgeable, passionate, and honest. He knew a lot about the history of Savannah and presented it in an interesting way - none of that cheesy tour guide stuff. I’d recommend this tour to anyone coming to Savannah because you’ll learn so much and also get a chance to hear scary stories.

My wife and I registered for Ghost Tour based on overwhelmingly positive reviews, but I would not recommend this tour to friends. First of all, the tour group had 29 people which is great money for the company, but limited locations we could go, made questions impractical, and ensured the tour was impersonal. The guide walked us to about 8 locations and told scripted stories that were not creepy and were only mildly interested. And many seemed simply fabricated for the tour. We didn't enter any buildings which could've added a lot to the tour.

I don't think our view of the tour was unique as the rest of our tour group appeared to be as underwhelmed as we were.

Pleasant evening strolling some of the squares of historic Savannah. Tour guide was excellent - well spoken so he was easy to hear and very knowledgeable about the history of Savannah. Not scary but intriguing and makes for a fun and informative evening! Highly recommend. An extra shout-out for their attention to safety encouraging all to wear masks and the guide wore one as well but would distance himself and remove to tell his stories (he'd talk with the mask on between stops.) Highly recommend.

Dan is an amazing guide! He’s a great orator and masterfully blends historical facts with the chilling tales of the area. The tour was the perfect length and I felt like I had learned a lot about Savannah’s history by the end of it. I would totally go on this tour again and bring more friends who love history and/or ghost stories!

We loved the tour! Allie was our guide and she absolutely nailed it. She's funny and has great stories to tell while also providing the necessary spooks; she's done her research. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you don't have a lot of time for the 3-4 hour tours. Carry your drinks with you!
