All aboard the Ace Basin Express for a scenic, one way transfer aboard a luxury Mercedes Sprinter bus from Savannah to Charleston. ACE basin is named for the Ashepoo, Combahee and Edisto Rivers which combine to form the St. Helena Sound and drain a significant portion of the Lowcountry. The Basin is one of the largest protected wetlands and estuaries on the east coast and it provides for beautiful scenery on HWY 17 between sister cities, Savannah and Charleston. Enjoy comfortable and friendly service and let us worry about driving, parking, navigation and timing. Sit back and relax on the approximately 2 hour ride.
The Basin Bus departs daily from the Hutchison Island Ferry Landing and drops off at the Charleston Visitors Center, both easily accessible and central locations. The Ferry across the river is free in Savannah. If you prefer hotel pick up and drop off (downtown only), just let us know your driver will confirm the exact pick up time on the morning of your departure (usually 30-45 minutes prior to 9:30).
