Emma organised a customised 20 days trip, including Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchinson, Kibale, Marguerita Peak, QENP, Bwindi, Mburo and Mabamba Swamp. He is very reliable and you can relax during your trip, as he will make sure that everything runs smoothly, and also is flexible if you want to include extra activities in your tour. He is local and knows people everywhere, which contributes to enhance your experience. I saw every animal I wanted to see and was able to summit Marguerita Peak in spite of the crevasses! When I spoke to other tourists using different tour operators it was clear how professional Emma is. You can also pay by bank transfer, which means you don’t have to carry much cash with you, and he will give you a fair price. My hotels were middle to budget range but there was something special about most of them as they had different animals visiting. Emma, John and Lin were great company and I feel that I have some new friends in Uganda now. I highly recommend using Trek Rwenzori!

I had the chance to trek family of Rhino. I got close to them about 5 meters. The tour guide was very nice; able to answer all my questions regarding rhino life. You can take thousands of nice pictures.

Emma organized a super great customized 6-day trip for me at an extremely good price (3 days Rwenzori Mountains, 1 day Queen Elizabeth Safari with game & boat drive and another 2 days in total for the gorilla trekking). We arranged a bespoke tour with Emma(nuel) who could not have planned a better trip. Murchison Falls, safari, boat trip on the Nile, chimpanzees and gorillas, with a final stop on the Equator. We covered a lot of distance in a few days but he engaged an excellent driver and very comfortable safari vehicle. A truly stunning and unique holiday experience. Highly recommend.

Trek Rwenzori organised tours, safaris and drivers for me in Uganda, October 2023. I went to Kibale Forest, Similiki national park, Rwenzori mountains, Queen Elizabeth Park. And many places in between. I was largely based in Fort Portal. They organised to pick me up in Kampala, then after all the tours we drove to Rwanda. It was an unforgettable experience for me, too many highlights for such a short review! Emma, John and all the guides along the way know the area of East Uganda, understand the many cultures, languages and provide non-stop insights. They are also fun guys to hang out with, have a sharp sense of humour. I liked being with them over the bumpy roads! I’d highly recommend them for tours, safaris and getting around in Uganda.

We came across Trek Rwenzori by accident, because we needed transport to Kibale forest for a chimpanzee tracking. Emmanuel also suggested a community tour, wich was an amazing way to learn more about the community. We ended up booking a day trip to QENP & a day hike to Rwenzori (lake Mahoma). Emmanuel was very quick to respond to our messages, and everything was well arranged - also friendly drivers. When you book with TRT, you get an excellent value for your money. The website is clear about the itinerary for the trips. We could not have imagined a better guide!

I did chimps tracking and I really enjoyed the experience! I traveled alone and I felt safe and guided all the time. At the National Park, the rangers are experts and have the perfect advice for tourists.

Emmanuel arranged a day trip for me in the Rwenzori Mountains. He convinced me that this was a complicated trip and that having him as a guide would be helpful and worth the money. In fact, it was a simple trip that I could have easily arranged myself. I regret hiring him. I should have either arranged the trip myself or I should have bargained much harder. But Emmanuel could be helpful for people who are not comfortable doing things like ordering bodas and buying street food on their own.

Trek Rwenzori Tours took great care of us during our whole trip across Uganda, from the moment we landed, when Emmanuel, the owner, and John, our driver and guide, picked us up from the airport, to our departure. They arranged our visit to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where we did a gorilla trekking, our stay at Lake Bunyonyi, where we visited the Batwa and Abahesi peoples, and our transfer to Kampala. The hotels and meals they arranged for us where all great, as well as the local guides that supported our visits. We would repeat and contract their services if we ever have the chance to return to Uganda
