      Well worth a visit
Nice restaurant and well worth a visit. You need to book and get there early as it gets very busy and service will be slow. Wine was good too.

Do yourself a favour and eat here at least once
A food and taste experience. We are here 3 times in our 4 days in Kampot. My husband ordered the Kampot Pepper Crab, he was told it would take about 30 mins because they went to the market to buy fresh as it was ordered. It was worth the wait. The lobster Amok is the best ever!! The prices are more expensive than other places in Kampot but the quality is worth the extra cost

Nice Food, Nice Restaurant, my TOP 1 in Kampot
great food and good Prices, YES they serve Salad without Dressing but the Waitress said, here is Dressing if you want Dressing and show as a bottle, so i cant understand who complain !! The Filet was NICE, the Peppersauce was perfect, French Fries, Salad. Perfect. The Lasagne, there i would say, please more "noodle" inside and less Sauce :-) but also Nice Taste and a good Portion. Waitress was friendly and fast. Tomorrow i will eat again there, for me... best Restaurant in Town.

      Just ok food.
Poor food. You can eat it if you are hungry. Not more. There are better options in Kampot. They serve the salad without dressing.

      Tasty food and local produce
Delicious and reasonably priced steak and shellfish. The seafood is beautifully presented (especially the oysters) and the steak was really nicely cooked. The fries could have done with a bit more cooking but that was ok. They offer you a selection of local pepper corns at the table for you to choose from, with a pestle and mortar. They also use local salt which is a nice touch. The wine was also good here and reasonably priced. If you want a nice meal that uses local produce and that doesn’t break the bank, this is it!

Excellent restaurant and local cooking class
Great restaurant with good quality food and good choice. Friendly and good service. I also did the cooking class in the afternoon which was excellent and such good value. The teacher was great and I learnt a lot about the local dishes.

Fantastic Go for the Oysters Au Gratin .
Been to this place 6 times in the last 2 months and can recommend it . The Oysters are addictive . Beware if you want Proper Chips ensure you ask for homemade Chips or you might get those Horrible French Fries the Americans seem to like .

      Lovely place
Nice place to sit outside and enjoy your dinner with a nice glass of house wine. The grilled sea bass is delicious. Unfortunately the fries were not very tasty, it is a skill to make good fries.

We had a very nice dinner here, fish carpaccio, pasta with vongole and amok. Yummy, fresh peppers to add to your dishes, recommended.

      Best restaurant in Kampot
If you visit Kampot, it's a must to stop by Kampot Seafood and Pepper. Location in the heart of Kampot with beautiful decoration and unique style. Western and Asian food, I fell in love with their seafood platter. Thanks to the team and owner. I had a great time there.

      Popular restaurant in town
Nice well ventilated restaurant with reasonable prices. I had a beef tenderlion steak which being local beef was quite chewey even though it was cooked very well. I live in Thailand and don't eat local beef so have added Cambodia to the list. They do have a Japanese wagyu option but as you would expect it is a lot more expensive. Their blueberry fruit shakes are very good. My friend ordered a pizza which looked okay. This restaurant is popular.

      Delicious food and excellent service!
I ate dinner at Kampot Seafood & Pepper one night in December and thought it outstanding! I began with ceviche and then had scallops with Kampot pepper. Both dishes were served with a variety of peppers, and I greatly appreciated my server’s suggestions for which peppers to use. She also provided excellent suggestions for wine pairings. The meal, the evening, was delightful! (I did not attend a cooking class here,)

Great experience but If you want the recipes, don’t forget to ask!
Really good experience. It’s amazing that they allow participants to choose what they want to cook. This way we can get to learn different dishes. The only thing I really think they should do to improve the experience in to send the recipes by email. I asked to many times along the cooking class if the recipes will be send and they said yes, just to find out in the end they wouldn’t. I guess it was a misunderstanding, and I ended up writing the recipes on my notebook. I guess most of the people that join this experience don’t intend to cook the dishes back at home, and in that way, it’s amazing. But I really do want to repeat the recipes at home, so it would be a good idea to share the recipes with quantities and some alternative ingredients. Apart from that, was an amazing afternoon with great teachers/chega. Loved every second!

The class was really fun - you choose 3 Khmer dishes (starter, main, dessert) and they talk you through the cooking process. We were looked after the entire time and given aprons, chef hats and water and really enjoyed the experience.
You are then seated to eat the food you’ve made at a table at the restaurant at the end. Would really recommend doing!

Chhoun Saroun is an amazing instructor who really took her time in explaining the process and ingredients behind each dish! She even reminded me to take pictures of the ingredients so I’d be able to duplicate the recipes at home. Would do this class again!

Roun was a fantastic teacher! She was patient with me and explained the ingredients to me very thoroughly! I made a mango salad, amok with fish, and a pumpkin custard - everything tasted amazing!

Definitely recommend this experience to anyone wanting to further experience Cambodian culture and food!

The class has been set on the restaurant tables, with a couple of hobs to cook on the tables next to us. The teacher did not explain absolutely anything about the ingredients and their roles in the taste and flavour of the dish. Neither a word about proportion of them. Also the procedure of all recipes has been told with no explanation about when and why add that particular ingredient at that specific moment. Many death moments doing nothing waiting for the other to cook as only two hobs were available. If you think about that as a different way of having dinner it's ok, if you want to learn something about food culture, ingredients and procedures skip it with no hesitation.

Great experience! I learned so much about Cambodian ingredients and techniques. They even answered all my questions about Prahok, which is maybe my favorite food so far in Cambodia. We made some delicious dishes featuring the famous Kampot green peppercorns - they have a menu of dishes that you can choose to cook depending on which foods you like. The staff was kind and patient. Thank you for teaching me so much!
