I had the pleasure of having Charith as my driver and park guide. He was prompt, professional, friendly and very good at helping me get through some tricky parts of the hike as well as showing me all the animals in the park that we came across (very sharp eye!). He took me through 2 secret routes which nobody else who hiked on their own knew about which came with some very beautiful views and then took me to a strawberry farm cafe after for some treats. I didn't expect to have someone do the hike with me as I was just expecting a driver but I was so glad I'd booked this and gotten a guide and a fantastic driver. He even helped me get a discount by pairing up with another guide's solo traveler which was very thoughtful. I can't recommend him enough.

I can't say enough about this tour and its providers. Our initial correspondence on securing this tour was with Sumudu, and he was really helpful with my questions about various tour options/offerings. Charith was nothing short of amazing as our tour guide. He was simply an eagle-eye in locating wildlife that I surely would never have discovered on my own. He found green lizards, fun-looking little brown frogs, and a variety of birds that I never would have recognized. His driving is of a very patient nature (ie. not wild and all over the very pot-holed terrain like some other drivers we've experienced) and he is simply a nice man to talk with. And (for me), the absolute best part of this experience was at the very beginning: the sunrise stop was something that simply took my breath away. And Charith not only stopped at the perfect place, but he got us there before the other few guides did the same so we were able to secure a nicely comfortable vantage point from which I could snap my usual gazillion pictures. The beauty was simply beyond description.
When you book this trip, ask for Charith. You will not be disappointed.

This was the best day trip we have had in Sri Lanka so far! The guide picked us up at precise time 5am and we went to Horton Plains. The guide, Charith, was the nicest man we have met in Sri Lanka and he had a good knowledge on routes, animals, fauna. The trip was just perfect!

Not related to the guide or the arrangement, but valuable information for tourists: We were a bit surprised about the entering fee almost 6000 LKR per adult as the Horton Plains website said something else. So remember to bring enough cash.

It was a very nice experience overall despite a little car problem in the morning. The owner is very professional and attentive - even tho he didn't do the tour himself, he was very communicative throughout the process and introduced the driver the day ahead to build up the first rapport. My tour guide Gihan speaks good English and is very friendly and fun to hang out with. Horton Plains is beautiful and the hike is quite easy - it's def worth going if you're visiting Nuwara Eliya, even tho the ticket is quite expensive.

We had a really nice day trip to the beautiful Hortons Plain, all was really great. The company provided us will all the info we needed both before and during the trip. Our guide Prasanna, a nice guy, who was great company to us and he provided information along the trek to “the worlds end” viewpoint. Which was very beautiful. He was also a really good driver, which we appreciated a lot, cus the drive till the national park is very up hill.
We will recommend this, if you want to visit the Hortons. Thank you for a nice trip.

We left in the morning in order to catch the sunrise and it was totally worth it, the sunrise was amazing. The hike is not difficult and the views are spectacular. Our guide Kavishan shared a lot of information with us about the trip and the whole country which made the trip even better.

Charith was the perfect guide an did an incredible job. He led me to beautiful places that I would not have found without his help and tjere were no other tourists. We also got to see a beautiful sunrise and he bought me some fresh yoghurt on our way back. What‘s more, he is really good at spotting deers, monkeys, lizards, trouts and various birds. He also takes really great pictures of you. I can only recommend it!

This company arranged for my Horton plains trek. I had booked it through viator.com. They were extremely quick to respond to ur queries via mail, ensured they come and meet you before your trip / trek starts, very punctual and made my whole trekking experience feel very safe(as I was traveling solo) and comfortable.

As a solo traveller, I had to pay LKR 5K as entrance fee. The entrance fee counter is a few kms before the start of the hike. It is a loop and one can either go start- Mini world'end-World's end- Baker's fall- carpark by taking a left at Y junction near start, or the other way by taking a right from the start. I found the initial part from mini world's end to world's end the most strenuous, but it was always manageable and enjoyable. The views are great, lovely breeze in morning hours and a very enjoyable hike. The waterfalls at the end seems everything so worth it. The entrance fee is exhorbitant. However it would not be worth missing this trip only for the cost, as otherwise it has a lot to offer. I was not sure whether to go to Horton Plains or to the Botanical Garden Hakgala and I am glad I chose Horton Plains.

My wife and I booked this trip before getting to Sri Lanka. The tour organiser was effective is his contact with us in advance. Our guide Nimal picked us up at 5am and it took about an hour to get to Horton Plains. We then proceeded to do the circular tour guided by Nimal. He was really enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and a pleasure to talk to. Worlds End and The Waterfall was truly spectacular. I would recommend study footwear and a reasonable level of fitness for the tour.
I would highly recommend the tour and our superb guide Nimal
