We had booked rooms with booking.com at 2/20 Wood Cabana towards the end of September 2024. The selection was made based on the good ratings we had seen on booking.com portal. When we reached the place after travelling from Colombo, we were horrified to see the rooms and facilities, The rooms are so small, moving around is impossible. The so called dining hall could not even accommodate three chairs. The mistake we made was to put our luggage in the three rooms we had booked. Once we realised that the place is not what it appeared in booking.com, we cancelled the same. The owner insisted on our paying SLR 12000 as cancellation fee and in sheer disgust we paid the same. Booking.Com and other travel portals like Agoda should have a system of checking up these hotels by themselves before accepting the 'good' ratings given by the so called travelers. We had a great day with Juli who took us to a couple of waterfalls and a tea factory. We also visited the Post Office and Single Tree Hill in Nuwara Eliya. Juli is an excellent and careful driver, stopping along the way to give us the best photo opportunities around the area. Thank you, Juli, we had a great day!

An Awesome Tour by Akram. He is very accommodating, very professional and knowledgeable guide. We love how he showed us the best locations for taking awesome photos and videos. We have optional two falls and tea farms tour and a local temple. And we went to other place does not included in the tour. We highly recommend to take this tour for other travelers. We had an amazing afternoon with Juli. He took us to several waterfalls and the tea factory. He knows the best spots for perfect views, is very kind and patiend and a lot of fun! Also, we asked for s restaurant and he bought us to a great place. Would highly recommend to go on a tour with Juli! Also great music in his tuktuk 🤩

We had an awesome half day tour with Juli. He was a kind, safe and patient tuk tuk driver. He knew all the best spots to take us, was knowledgeable but wasn’t at all pushy. We went to multiple view points of Ramboda waterfall all of which were amazing. We also went to two tea plantations. Couldn’t have asked for a better driver and guide.

We did this with a tuk tuk and our driver Juli was very friendly and safe with his driving and showed us some gorgeous waterfall. . The tea factory tour was alright but we are not big fans of tea.. We strongly recommend Juli and this tour.

Akram was very friendly and informative. He showed us two waterfalls,and we opted to skip on the third because we were tired from climbing the second one, but he showed us pictures of the other waterfall and it seemed pretty nice. The tea factory tour is descriptive and we bought lots of tea for souvenirs to bring home!

Excellent tour. The waterfalls are very beautiful and the tea factory tour informative and there were gorgeous views along the way. We opted for the tuk tuk option. There was a small hike we had to do which was also very nice. It is recommended to wear proper footwear for the hike.
