        Amazing experience but average value
Beatiful hike, not very challenging. Great & safe driver Lahiru. Service as described, but expensive in hindsight. My advice - get your accommodation to book a 4WD/car once you get to Nuwara Eliya, will be much cheaper.

Pleasant and enjoyable Horton Plains loop hike
Charith was my driver, guide and walking companion for the loop trail. He picked me up and dropped me off from /to my hotel. He was very helpful and considerate and pointed out a number of sights, flora snd fauna. Thanks Charith! There was some confusion initially with my being told my hotel was outside the permissible radius for complimentary pickup / dropoff. I insisted it was not (less than 3 km) and finally the matter was settled. And I was told that Charith would come to collect me. That was the only not-so-nice thing about this trip.

We couldn’t have asked for more.
Our guide Charith was the best. He answered all our questions and showed us very special places in the park. You could tell he has a lot of experience, as he knew when the clouds will open to have the best view and was super friendly, even though it was very early :-) We recommend 100%!

        Horton Plains Hike
Today we went on a hike at the Horton Plains National Park with Harshana as our driver and guide. It was incredible! We arrived during sunrise which was very beautiful. The national park is quiet, clean and really scenic. We were lucky enough to spot monkeys, a giant squirrel, deer and some really colourful birds. What a fantastic experience! Harshana was very knowledgable and super friendly. And thanks for stopping on the way back at the tea shop :)

Lucky Morning with a Great Guide - Charith
My driver and guide for the day was Charith. He was on time when he picked me up from the hotel. When we reached the Horton Plains, we were lucky enough to spot a leopard at the entrance. Charith was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was able to point out many different animals and took me on a less-known path to see the sites and find different animals. He's also very caring. He saw one older gentle fell due to slippery ground and he rushed to check if he's okay. Overall, Chairth was the perfect guide for the trip. Highly recommend!

        Amazing day out!
This was definitely the best thing we did in Nurawa Eliya! Charith was the perfect guide - he’s very friendly and knowledgeable, and took us on routes we’d never have found on our own. We loved the tea factory and would definitely recommend adding on this part of the tour. Overall it’s quite an expensive day but we think it’s worth it.

We had a fabulous time at Horton Planes, thanks to our guide Kavish. He is extremely hospitable and will go to lengths to make your trek in the planes enjoyable. Kavish is knowledgeable and has a very good idea/background of places in and around Nuwara Eliya. I would recommend him to anyone who is planning to visit Sri Lanka

        Great experience!
Charith was an excellent driver and a very pleasant guide overall! He was very friendly and we appreciated how we could go at our own pace. We initially only signed up for the hike alone, but ended up going to the tea factory as well, which was a nice extra experience. The weather was misty and rainy so we couldn’t take in the view so much during the hike at Horton Plains; however, my family and I loved our experience. It was so beautiful and definitely worth visiting. One thing that i would have liked to know beforehand is that no single use plastic is allowed into the park… We had brought snacks and we needed to repack all of them in paper bags that the park provided.

Definitely worth a visit for those looking for a silent hike and wonderful vistas
We had a really good time with the hike on the Horton plains. Our guide Charith was on time, very polite, well informed and accommodated all our requests. He showed us around the park and even carried my 8 year old son for a while as he go tired. Highly recommended for their service and highly recommend Horton Plains for a silent hike, wonderful views and sights & sounds of rare species of birds indigenous only to the plains.

        Thank you Charith!
Thank you Charith for a great time at Horton Plains! Charith found out we liked lizards and was our expert lizard-spotter, took us to beautiful hidden spots and made sure we got some great pictures. A really lovely guy and great guide.

        Worth every penny!
Charith was our guide for this experience. What a wonderful experience it was. Hortons plains national park is beautiful!!Charith was very patient and accomodating. Travelling with a 8 year old - we were very slow with the trek - Charith was extremely patient and understanding. He also explained to us about the national park, the indigenous species of birds and ensured we felt comfortable. All in all - it was a difficult trek ~ long and a bit of treacherous routes but Charith made the whole experience enjoyable!! Don't miss the Hortons national park trek if you are in Nuwara Eliya!!💚
