What to Expect
Make your own way to the check-in point, then board your boat for the 11:30am Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise.

Expect to cover about 100 miles round-trip as you glide across the protected waters of Resurrection Bay into Kenai Fjords National Park. Continue around Cape Aialik (pronounced “I-al-ik") into Aialik Bay to view Holgate Glacier. Spend time near the glacier to watch for calving ice.

Cruise out to the Chiswell Islands or Cape Resurrection (depending on weather conditions), where thousands of Alaskan seabirds like puffins, kittiwakes, and cormorants come to nest. Pause close to the seabird nesting areas and Steller sea lion colonies; sea otters, bald eagles, and mountain goats are also commonly spotted along the route.

A National Park Ranger will be aboard to provide a detailed narrative on the history, ecology, geology, and wildlife in the area.

If you choose the buffet option, the Alaska salmon and prime rib buffet is served as you cruise into Aialik Bay.
