We really enjoyed our visit to Seaveys’s Ididaride sled dog tour. They picked us up at the Seward Cruise Terminal and we were finished, dropped us off in Downtown Seward. We got to experience what it was like to ride in a dog sled, spend time with the dogs and sit through brief overview of dog sledding history . Our guide Sybil really did a nice job with the dogs and allowing us to Interact with them. I would highly recommend this trip to a family or couples when they’re in the Seward, AK area

Adorable puppies, learned about sled dogs, nice hike, and overall great experience. Traveled with older seniors so would recommend them not doing the full hike (it was difficult for them).

We thoroughly enjoyed the experience - playing with the puppies, learning about dog sledding, learning about the Seavey’s, taking dog sled ride, and talking with the mushers. We went late in the day and were glad we had a hat and gloves. The “learning” areas were covered which kept us dry as it was raining. I was expecting a short dog sled ride, but we went 2 miles! It was obvious that the mushers loved what they do. We definitely would do this again.

This was an unexpected thrill. Seeing these incredible dogs and learning about their way of life was fascinating. The ride was exhilarating. Plus those cute puppies. Our guide Hunter was so knowledgeable. He is a young person but already a gifted raconteur. It was great to watch his relationship with these marvelous dogs. We feplt so lucky to have this experience!

I took my son. He liked seeing the dogs. He got to the musher at the back. We did also see puppies. Very unusual thing to do. We enjoyed it seeing how excited the dogs get before the run. The woman who took us had done the ititarod run which I thought was cool. She knows the dogs well and answered many questions and clearly was a subject matter expert.

So much fun! Our guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and hilarious. And petting the puppies was a bonus with lots of puppy kisses

This wasn’t on our original list of things to do. One of our adventures got rescheduled due to the weather and the kids really wanted to go. I had read some not so great reviews of other Iditarod type places. I was pleasantly surprised. Our musher, Laura, was great and made it a lot of fun. Good history of the race and the dogs. Kids really enjoyed meeting the dogs and puppies.

We took our grandchildren and had an AMAZING experience! Our guide, Lara, was so friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. The whole tour was organized so well, with enough time to enjoy each activity. We live in Anchorage and drove to Seward ONLY for this activity (4 hours round trip), and we all thought it was completely worth the drive!

So much fun!! A must!! My bucket list item!! We'll worth your time and price!! Two mile ride, play with the dogs, educational class, nice souvenir shop, shuttle service, wow!

My husband, teenaged son, and I loved meeting the dogs and getting to cuddle with some of the puppies. The cart ride with the dogs pulling was fun and fascinating. The part explaining the Iditarod and what the dogs do was interesting. This was one of our favorite excursions on our trip. Highly recommended.

Wasn’t sure I would like this tour but landed up loving it. I always thought the dogs were kind of abused but actually learned that they love cold weather and their favorite is -10°. They also thought of running and actually because the team is so large they only pulled 20 pounds apiece. We had fun petting the dogs and even riding the sled a bit.

Awesome! Guides were knowledgeable. Great for families. First stop was to Dog Camp. My boys loved interacting with the dogs. We even got to pet and hold pups. Seward city tour for lunch. Then a stop at Kenai NP. Make sure to bring your N.P. passport books to get stamped. Last stop was a trip to a creek to see salmon spawning. Overall a great excursion.

If you are in the Seward area this is a must-stop! Really enjoyed our time here. Highlight stop. It totally rained the whole time we were there. Nobody cared a bit. Just put on a raincoat and go meet the pups! The "cart" ride was a great experience. It felt like a substantial ride and the grounds are beautiful. The dogs seem so calm in the pens and then when it's time to run (or when they think it's time) they just come alive. Say hi to Gunnar to whom I offered a home in retirement.

We found the tour to be very informative and enjoyed our sled ride. I am excited to watch the Iditarod after learning so much about it.

Great, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff/mushers but the dogs are the stars. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed our entire tour.
