Overview
Seattle’s iconic Pike Place Market is a lively collection of artisans, farmers, and food vendors. On this tour, you'll go behind the scenes to experience aspects most other visitors miss, including learning the market’s history and trying several diverse food samples. Eight tastings, ranging from Italian gelato to renowned local chef Tom Douglas’s salmon burger, are included.
What to Expect
Your tour starts at a designated meeting point near Pike Place Market. Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour start time.

Next, your guide leads you through the market, describing its history and present-day significance between stops at food vendors. Samples include fresh biscuits made with local ingredients, Italian gelato, locally-sourced Greek Yogurt, authentic Mexican street tacos, smoked salmon, clam chowder, handmade truffles, Bavarian cured meats, and chef Tom Douglas’s salmon burger.

At the end of the 2.5-hour experience, the tour concludes at the Rub Shack near Virginia Street and Western Avenue.

Entertaining, funny and full of history..

This tour should not be missed, Jerry is funny, entertaining, and full of history. We got to try different types of food from different vendors, some are free to all people but some only tailored for the tour.

I would ask the company directly. There was a lot of walking in narrow spaces and some stairs. It sounded like there was an elevator option if we weren't ok with stairs.

Yes it would. There was only one area we covered in in the market that had stairs and I believe there is an elevator. I would mention at the time of purchase and I’m sure they can customize the tour for you.
