      Great ride!
This was a fantastic excursion with Monte as our expert guide! We enjoyed seeing discovery Park, and an area of Seattle that we would not have normally seen. Neither of us had ridden an electric bike before, but Monte was very patient and clear in his directions. Once we got going, it was no problem at all. Would definitely recommend this activity!

      Great Seattle bike tour
Darrell was a great guide, shared interesting information about the area and made sure the group stayed together. We covered a lot of area and was fun to take the water taxi as part of the tour. We had a good pace which was comfortable for all riders. I will definitely recommend the tour to others!

      Beautiful and joyful bike tour!
We did the West Seattle tour loop and it was such a wonderful time spent with family and with Darrell, the happy, helpful tour guide. So many beautiful views of the water, mountains, and of the city. This loop was fairly flat, so it was really enjoyable for all biking levels. Included really cool pieces of Seattle’s history, as well. What a blessed day we had!

      Best ride
Monte was the greatest tour guide ever. We definitely got our money’s worth from this tour. We went thru the city and seen all the cool spots, rode the ferry to west side! Amazing time especially if you have never rode a ferry like myself. The ride is definitely a fun one. Monte is also a extremely nice person and very knowledgeable. My husband and I loved it! Thank you

      Great Seattle Bike Tour
We had a fantastic time on this tour with our guides Monty and Darrell. We learned a lot about Seattle and saw so many sights while on the bike and the ferry. The bikes were new, charged, and easy to ride.

      Best view off the ferry
From secret waterfalls to scenic views this tour had it all. Our guide got us up to speed on how electric bikes work and off we went. I was amazed at the transformation of the water front and our guide took us to the birth place of ups which is also a secret waterfall in the historical district. Our guide Monte was awesome, very knowledgeable on past and present information. We had a blast seeing the sights on this tour.

A great way to explore Seattle area.
Our guide,Monte, is very personable. He brought us around the Seattle area and explained the areas we were going through. The electric bike is a great mode of transportation for this tour: especially in bike friendly Seattle.

      A Must-Do!
Great sights, great history lesson, and great experience on the e-bikes! We enjoyed the ferry ride and the ride back from West Seattle to downtown Seattle. I was nervous about the e-bike at first, but quickly got the hang of it. Definitely sign up!

After doing the city bike tour and learning about e bike we decided to try the Rad Power E bikes, We had a lot of fun with guide on this tour. Most of the tour was in a very beautiful neighborhood. It was a very casual easy paced ride. If you want to try out an e bike you found the tour.

      Great customer service
I was really looking forward to our tour and because I mixed up my dates, I was unable to. They worked really hard to reschedule me and do a custom tour and unfortunately the timing didn't work out. They were quick, and prompt to my requests and they even gave me a full refund. Great customer service! Marilynn

We enjoyed our experience with Monty as our tour guide. A challenging but fun way to tour and see the city sites in an eco friendly way. We also stumbled upon beautiful sunny and bright fall foliage and temperate weather for our ride which was a treat. Recommend this morning event to newcomers to the city who wish to explore the sites and history of Seattle.

Monte was our guide- he was awesome! Monte was knowledgeable, patient, and fun. He provided fun facts, some history, and current event info to enrich our perspective of Seattle. My husband and I wanted to experience Seattle from a different perspective by riding through neighborhoods. We saw more than we could have had we done a walking tour. From now on when we visit a city, we will do these city bike tours- well worth your time!

This was a delightful, offbeat tour that covered a lot of ground (literally and figuratively) in two and a half hours. I really appreciated how much variety was included and how much of the city I managed to see. Highly recommend. For solo travelers it was also a really nice group experience.

If you’re expecting a full city tour of Seattle including Pike Place Market, Pioneer Square, Chinatown International District, Belltown, Capital Hill, Waterfront attractions, Major Sporting Venues and the downtown district, you will be disappointed. The Emerald City tour encompasses the extreme northern edge of Seattle beginning at the Space Needle in Seattle Center then moving further away from the city over Fremont bridge to the town of Ballard. Lots of water views with a tour of the Ballard Locks. Afterwards, a long bike ride back to end the 3 hour tour. Monty was a knowledgeable guide and attentive in keeping the group safe and together.
However, I expected to see and experience so much more of this beautiful city, especially with the hefty $99 price tag.

Thank you for taking time for your review. Seattle is a big city and to cover all the areas you listed above we would need an additional 3 hours. Also some of the areas you wish the bike route went on like Pike Place Market are pedestrians only areas. You can see the stadiums on the tour and we bike right next to the new arena where our NHL team plays. We did explore 8 of 13 neighborhoods utilizing our safe network of bike trails biking 13 miles in about 3 hours.

Tour passes through various parts of the city with beautiful views.
The safety and logistics of the trip can be improved. Starting off, the tour leader requests people to cross a railroad as the train crossing barriers come down. That was very unsafe. This mindset continued for a while until a bunch of people got left behind and lost for a while. Proper headcount, giving his number to everyone so bikers can call him, and other safety measures need to be implemented (such as designating someone to be the last biker in the group and message the tour leader if they are separated). Part of the tour felt rushed.

On the downhill portion of the trip's final leg two people fell off their bikes and sustained minor injuries.

This was an excellent way to learn about the different parts of the city and see the sights. Our tour guide, Ike, was very knowledgeable and was able to adjust the needs of the tour to the group. She maintained an adequate pace while ensuring you had enough time at each stio in the tour and maintaining route safety. We look for to future trips to Seattle to explore the neighborhoods and events we learned about during our bike tour with Emerald City Bike Tours. Thank you for an amazing day!

First time doing a bike trip in Seattle and it was amazing. The tour guides were upbeat and enthusiastic and really made sure i had a great time. Also, I finally got to see the Space Needle in person and couldn't believe how tall and beautiful it was standing in the middle of the city. I can only imagine what the view was like from the top of the structure being able to overlook how beautiful the city is especially during the summer. On top of that, I was able to take memorable pictures with my friends that will last a lifetime. Recommend this experience to anyone wanting to explore the city. 10/10.

Our guide Daniel was amazing. Really knowledgable. Not too tough of a ride - just a few uphills and inclines - and a great way to see Seattle. The tour is supposed to be 3 hours but Daniel was willing to go longer and see some more stops - unfortunately some on our tour had other commitments and couldn’t let the tour go longer. If you can, budget 4 hours so if he is willing to stop at more sites you will have the time. Definitely would recommend.

Great bike tour, got to see a lot of the city across the morning. We love doing city bike tours because you get to see so much in the short space of time and hear good commentary. Seattle is a little hilly but all doable.
