About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Joy M0 contributionsPhenomenal Glacier Tour!Booked a glacier tour for 4 adults with 907 Tour. Lori picked us up at a nearby hotel that was just 10 min from our rental house,,, so very convenient. Lori was an excellent driver, and gave us great information along the way about the communities that we were driving through, about the people who live here and the many different cultures here. All great information. We stopped in Palmer along the way which helped break up the drive. Bathrooms and snacks were available. Once we arrived at the glacier, Jason was our tour guide there. Wow—- what an awesome experience! Jason was so informative and allowed ample time to take pictures and explore along the trails. This was a new experience for us and we all loved it! We were dressed in our ski gear, several layers, and even had hand/feet warmers and a few of us were still cold. Our tour was on December 30th and it was 10 degrees, so dress appropriately! After the glacier tour, Lori drove her group to a nearby restaurant where we were able to sit down in a warm place and order a fabulous lunch. It was a nice break to visit with others in our group. This was a wonderful adventure for us all and we highly recommend 907 Tour!Written 30 December 2024
- O2758AGeval0 contributionsIncredible Glacier & Incredible Tour Guide!I took the Matanuska Glacier Hike Day Tour with Lori yesterday. It was an absolutely fantastic experience!! Lori is very on time to pick us up, accessible through phone and message, and bring us all back as time expected. We are blessed by the weather and it was not as cold when we hiked. I carry a DSLR camera and was able to take some amazing pictures. Lori took good care of everyone in our group and even stop by at places to let us take pictures. Definitely recommended! It was certainly a one in a lifetime experience.Written 29 December 2024
- crystaljS9028JI0 contributionsGreat tourExcellent!!!!! Johnny was fun and fascinating!!! So much personalized to make sure all had their needs met from a drive through the conservation center when it rained or a walk if desired. Even when cruise canceled it was not disappointing.Written 20 September 2024
- tracycE9616UQ0 contributionsMost incredible Athabasca Glacier HikeThe most incredible experience during our family visit to Banff National Park! Our guides Jack and Sara were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had an amazing hike exploring on the Athabasca Glacier. There's so much to see and to learn which made this an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience for us. Thank you so much, Rockaboo!Written 15 September 2024
- lydiachingyeh0 contributionsAll you need if you only got one day in AlaskaOur Driver David is phenomenon! He is extremely knowledgeable about Alaska’s nature, wildlife, culture, and history. We would’ve never thought could learn so much in just a few hours drive on our way to Matanuska glacier hike. I booked this trip for my parents and with my fiancé. We absolutely had a blast! Highly recommend this tour to anyone and especially with DAVID 🫶🏼Written 10 September 2024
- Roving077584123710 contributionsMatanuska Glacier Hike Day Tour- An amazing experienceWe traveled in the second week of July 2024 and took a guided glacier tour that lasted around three hours, creating memories that will last a lifetime. We booked the tour directly upon arriving at the glacier tour location. The entrance to the tour site was quite a distance from the Glenn Highway in Sutton, Alaska, though the exact location may vary depending on the tour company you choose. Ticket prices were $150 per adult and $30 for children aged 14 and under. Note: If you’re planning to visit Matanuska Glacier, I highly recommend going with a tour guide. A fabulous fabulous lifetime experience. This glacier is one of the easily accessible glaciers and low to moderate difficulties. I highly recommend visiting Matanuska Glacier. Thanks! travel-learn-repeat.blogspotWritten 7 September 2024
- 6rossy0 contributionsVery enjoyable excursion!Right from booking the excursion to picking us up at our hotel till the end, the communication exceeded our expectations. - sudhamshdesai0 contributionsTop notchHighly recommend this trip if you have a day in Anchorage. 907 tours was a great company. They were spot on with timings. Our tour guide Cheyenne was awesome. She kept us engaged throughout the trip giving details about Alaska and life here. Our climbing guide Nick did a great job demonstrating the facts about glacier and ensuring safety and also took some fantastic photos. It was nice to catch up with the whole group after the tour to share wonderful experiences.Written 19 August 2024
- bobwG8082UK0 contributionsGreat Hike on Matanuska GlacierWent on the Matanuska Glacier Hike through 907. Overall the tour was fantastic. Cheyenne was our 907 guide, Chris was our guide at the glacier. Both were GREAT!! While the overall tour was long(8am - 6pm), the tour of the glacier worth every minute. Chris was incredibly knowledgeable. Would HIGHLY recommend!!Written 17 August 2024
- foxxyjade0 contributionsSmall company that makes a big impressionI’m happy to report that 907 Tours and David/tour guide are worth every star I awarded! David was on time picking me up and is a wealth of information. You can tell he loves his job and making certain everyone is having a great time! I never felt rushed. The day trip was well paced, with multiple breaks built into it. And I felt protected, as David diffused a tense interaction by telling an humorous story to soothe an impatient, snarky Matanuska Glacier tour guide. Ultimately, I felt well looked after from the time I made my reservation until I was dropped off at my hotel. I can confidently say that everyone in our combined group had an amazing time! I will definitely use 907 Tours in the future the next time I have a full day in Anchorage!Written 4 August 2024
- 888jackiev0 contributionsWonderful day exploring AlaskaWe were a small group with a wonderful guide named Derick. He picked us up timely from our hotel, gave us information as he drove us to the Glacier boat where we spent an hr touring the Portage Glacier. He then took us to the Animal Conservation Center. He made stops along the way at photographic sites and willingly took pictures for us. Derick has a wonderful personality and a lot of knowledge about the area. We enjoyed our trip immensely and were happy to have Derick as our guide.Written 27 July 2024
- rosemaryo7240 contributionsDay trip from Anchorage that offers variety & covers so much especially if you have limited time in that areaJohnny was our guide and driver. He was clear with schedules at each stop and very knowledgeable about the wildlife, geology, geography and general information about living in Alaska. He was great to o take photos of our family group and made sure we saw all the animals in the Wildlife conservation Centre. I’d recommend the tour as it covers a lot in the 6 hours and is a great introduction to Alaska/ Anchorage area. I would recommend you contact the driver the day before if you don’t hear from them to confirm the pick- up time. We hadn’t heard from the company the day before as was stated on our booking ticket. Get your Guide didn’t respond to our email either, but another telephone number was provided. Our pick up time was 30 minutes earlier than on the booking. However we still had a great day!Written 27 July 2024
- 327traceye0 contributionsGlacier Wildlife Tour - Higly recommend!!Fantastic experience today with 907 Tours. Our guide, David, was informative and friendly. We were picked up directly from our hotel (not all tour groups go to all hotels but 907 does). Our day was filled with the beauty of the Portage Glacier followed by an amazing visit to the Wildlife Conservation Center. David pointed out the best spots for photos and we even saw bald eagles and moose along the way. Our tour was a real highlight and I think David enjoyed it as much as we did. I can highly recommend 907 Tours for your Anchorage vacation.Written 23 July 2024
- lindseyhW8281OC0 contributionsBeautiful sunny day on Matanuska GlacierThis trip was a blast! The Glacier was incredible and the group and I fortunately saw it on a bright and sunny day. The weather was warmer than I thought it would be and a base layer with hiking pants was enough to keep warm… even hot at some points. I recommend this trip to anyone visiting and wanting to experience incredible views alongside great tour guide commentary!Written 20 July 2024
- T3958NMtimr0 contributionsMatanuska glacierGreat job by Lori, Derrick, and tour guide David. Solved every “problem” simply and easily. Great trip, great views, and even though we didn’t walk on much of the glacier (bad hip), they came up with a plan to get us close. Rest of family loved it. David was knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. Thank you.Written 19 July 2024

Fun to see the wildlife up close. While the chances of seeing the animals out in the "wild" it was nice that we were pretty much guaranteed to see them in a very natural setting. Cheyenne did a great job narrating while we headed up to the conservation area, as well as explaining what we saw once we got there.

We had a good time visiting Alaska Wildlife Conservation center where you can see a diverse range of animals that are native to the state of Alaska. It's one hour drive from the city and the panoramic views are gorgeous. Our tour guy David was very informative and friendly, it was very interesting to listen his stories about Alaska. The weather was not very friendly - windy, cloudy and a little bit rainy that day. Be prepared to walk outside for a while.

It started with hotel pick up which was great since we didn't have a vehicle. The ride to the conservation center was long with a stop at Beluga point on the way. We didn't see whales but the time we were there wasn't great. Derek the tour guide took time to introduce himself and had each of us do the same to break the ice since we will be in the van with strangers for a few hours. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the animals. The conservation center was nice. It's more or less a zoo type atmosphere with the animals having more room to roam. The stories behind the center and why the animals are there was interesting. A chance to get up close with some bears and moose. Many other animals were also there but these are the ones I was excited to see in Alaska. Enjoyed the whole tour and felt like a value since we didn't have a vehicle in Anchorage. Highly recommend.

Being a member of Marriott Bonvoy, we used our credit points to book at Marriott Anchorage for one day. We were surprised that they gave us suite for being a long time user of their credit card too. It was a huge room with gorgeous view of the Anchorage glacier mountain landscape. We are very satisfied with the Marriott anywhere in the world used them Dublin, Ireland; London, UK, the quality is consistent as well as service especially if you a life long member.

Today we took the 907 Tour to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Our tour guide was Derek and he was delightful!! Not only full of fun stories and anecdotes, but also just a very pleasant and nice person. He made the trip! On our trip to AWCC he filled us in with all kinds of tidbits about the mountains, "ghost trees", bore tides and Turnagain Arm waterway. As i said, Derek made the experience very enjoyable! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour - it's well worth it.

Cheyenne is a superb tour guide. Knowledgeable, professional, patient and gracious. Also a good driver. We wish the wildlife conservation center had been more interesting. The Bears were great but overall the center needs more animals.

Lori is a fabulous owner and tour guide. She picked us up at our hotel in a spotless van. She pointed out all the glaciers, mountains and geographic history as she took us to the Wildlife Conservation Center. We saw bears, bison, elk, moose, reindeer, bald eagles, and an owl. The tour was fascinating and well paced. Complete with water, adequate potty breaks, and snacks. Perfect afternoon
