- debrab9910 contributionsTough ole birdThe fried chicken breasts were so tough we couldn’t even chew it. The vegetables we ordered were good and we had a good waitress. When we asked for smoked turkey to replace the chicken , it was handled quickly. However, the serving size was ridiculous. It looked like a child’s portion. When you pay good money for a meal, you expect good food and enough food.Written 7 December 2024
- Dream007038191420 contributionsFun, relaxing, and tasty wine!Annette was great with lots of positive energy. The only criticism is that I would've liked to sit as a group with the Vineyard employees and have them tell us about the wine, the story behind the winery, and just "edutain" us. This would provide an opportunity to appreciate the art that goes into making the wines as well as an opportunity to engage with eachother and make new friends. Overall, it was a great experience tasting local Georgia wine with my partner! Thank you!Written 25 November 2024

- HannaATL0 contributionsNice but be prepared on what to expect!I am a person who reads all reviews and I want to just inform people on what to expect. The overall tour was very nice, as far as our pickup and our guide was great. It was a nice van with ac. Music was good and communication was great. What I didn't really know prior; the pickup location is a place where you have to pay for parking so be prepared. I think we spent about $14 for the day at the lot nearby No water or drinks offered but you will stop at a RaceTrack to grab snacks and drinks about 1 hour in. (suggestion to tour group: offer/provide at least a bottle of water. The tour price is high enough where suppling a cheap bottle of water, will not eat into your profits). As far as the actual 3 wineries, if you are a wine drinker, you will not be impressed with any of the wines poured. Be prepared for about a 1 oz pour and nothing more. They do not even let you go back and 'retry' anything (like wineries in other states). It kinda felt like they don't expect you to buy anything bc they don't really try to sell you any of the wines (weird). You only get what you get. The last winery you will visit already has the wines poured. You can chose (ahead of time) from sweet, red/dry or mix. With that, there is no explanation of the wines or story provided. None of the wineries provide any pairings. You will have to purchase that and it averages about $20 but you are on your own to know what meat/cheese to pair with what wine. After the wineries, you will go to Helen Ga for lunch where you can walk around and pick a spot to eat. The weather was great and the food was just ok (we went to a mexican spot). Overall, nice experience but wish I loved the wines enough to purchase someWritten 8 July 2024

- Katina H0 contributionsAll Day Wine TourHad a great time. Pam our tour driver was just a sweet treat! Enjoyed the experiences at each of the vineyards. Pam was very attentive to our needs, she even made stops to allow us to grab snacks halfway through the drive, which was about a hour and 45mins. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip.Written 16 June 2024
- I5421ZUdeniseh0 contributionsAmazing Wine TourOur guide was great! She fun and shared a lot of information about the winery we were to visit and the city. She had everyone involved in conversations. Each winery had a beautiful view and the employees were all friendly, informative and patient. I would highly recommend Atlanta Sightseeing bus tour for the full day wine tour.Written 11 May 2024
- 301minenhlem0 contributionsAmazing tour. Definitely recommend! The tour started off at Trader Vic’s where we met our tour guide for the day Pam. She introduced herself and told us what to expect for the day ahead. The drive was a bit long but worth it. Pam had advised us to bring some water and snacks along for the trip. Around halfway we stopped at a gas station where we were able to get some food and refreshments. We went to 3 wineries but my favorite one was the second winery which was called CeNita Cellars. They also gave us more wine to taste as compared to the first winery called The Cottage (Which had a beautiful view by the way). All in all, it was an amazing trip and to top it off we stopped by for a couple of hours in Helen which was a beautiful German style town with restaurants and bars. Pam, our tour guide was amazing and she honestly made the trip worth it. She offered to take pictures and always informed us of what to expect at our next location as well as recommendations. My girlfriend organized this trip and I had the best time!Written 10 May 2024
- RandyRoss0 contributionsDisappointing but Still WorthwhileWe spent 2 nights in Atlanta, which gave us one full day there. We had already visited the Martin Luther King Memorial and the Carter Presidential Center on our visit to the city in 2016, so decided to do something else. We found a 5-hour city tour (on a small bus) with good reviews leaving from the nearby Peachtree Center and booked that. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as it sounded but was still a worthwhile thing to do. This was mostly a driving tour but we had 4 stops. The first stop was at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial for about 20 minutes. This stop is worth 2-3 hours (which we did in 2016). Twenty minutes is just a quick photo stop. Our second stop was at the Krog Street Market for 10 minutes. It was quite small and there was nothing there to see, although our guide purchased coffee and snacks (at a decent-looking little bake shop). The third stop was for a 20-minute walk to see the Atlanta Beltline (a 22-mile-long circular walking/bike trail around the central part of the city) and a sculpture representing opera star Jenny Lind. The fourth and final stop was at the Ponce City Market, which was much bigger than the Krog Street Market but seemed to be mostly gift shops and restaurants. We were there for 50 minutes for lunch on our own. The final (and best) part of the tour was to the part of the city with nice, large homes and mansions. If and when we return to Atlanta, we would visit this area by car and definitely stop at the Atlanta History Center, which includes Swan House and the several gardens (the Goizueta Gardens).Written 2 May 2024

If this is your first time in Atlanta this is a great tour that will give you an excellent overview of the history, neighborhoods and layout of the city.
Our tour guide Don was hilarious, informative as well as entertaining. He must have an encyclopedia of Atlanta music history committed to memory. Pam our driver, was wonderful and very considerate when we were taking pictures from the bus. She made sure I was happy with the photo I took of Margaret Mitchell's house before driving on.
The Krog Market and Ponce Market stops gave us plenty of time for grabbing a snack and then lunch. Delicious treats & eats at both places. For me the highlight was The Martin Luther King Centre. We spent a good amount of time there and Don made sure we didn't miss a thing. We had time to wander the gift shop too.
The drive around Buckhead was en eye opener about the billionaire lifestyle. Don was like a realtor! He knew who lived where, what the original price of the house was and the current value. Hilarious.
As we drove through many neighborhoods Don would talk about the significance of the buildings we were passing and the local restaurants for good food. This came in handy, we had booked a foodie walking tour for the next night; it was canceled but luckily our pick up point was 2 blocks from The Vortex. This restaurant was fantastic and quite an experience in itself, note: no one under 21 allowed. Thanks to Don's commentary our evening out was saved! He also told us about the free Margaret Mitchell exhibit at the library which we did go to see. He told us about the 52 storey atrium at the Marriott downtown which we did visit the next morning, wow, the view!!
By the way Don's harmonica playing and occasionally burning into classic song was funny.
All in all this was a wonderful experience.

I was looking for sightseeing tours for my family and I to do while in town. I was honestly looking for one that gave us some Atlanta history and show us where some celebrity homes maybe. Something that was family oriented. This tour allowed us to bring our 2 year old son and 10 year old son. Some that I looked up, you had to be 6+, and 8+. Don, the tour guide and Pam the driver were excellent!! They really made our time enjoyable. Don was very knowledgeable about Atlanta's history, a little bit of everything. He talked about the history and what places used to be where and what replaced them. Talked about the different leaders, and historical people that helped shaped Atlanta, as well as the different businesses. Really made that 5 hours seem like only an hour. He had you wanting more time, continue the journey. He and Pam told jokes and got all of the audience to laugh, he sang and played the harmonica. We stopped a few times. Like in a previous review I read, I do wish he had a bigger display of the pictures he showed us throughout the tour he put together. Maybe poster boards or a projector somehow would be nice. When the tour first started, he met with the group and explained how the tour works, and asked everyone where they're from. I truly say this tour is well worth it especially with Don and Pam.

The tour was fun and informative with a great opportunity to see most parts of the city. Good value for what you pay and is a more affordable option than some of the more expensive tours. The tour guide had a great sense of humour and was very knowledgeable about the history of Atlanta.

Couldn't tell you how pleased we were with the experience. Being new to the north GA area we decided to take a tour of our new city and couldn't be more pleased with the tour. Both informative and fun! If you are in the city for a few days or just moved to the ATL area I highly recommend this tour to get a great feel of the city.

The tour was poorly organized and unprofessionally presented. Our tour guide was disheveled and rambled to the point of breathlessness. He repeated his rehearsed talking points multiple times without seeming to notice. Lots of eye rolls on the bus. At one point, we were lead on foot through a skate park to a path leading to a graffitied wall then back to the bus. An excess of extraneous rapid fire information diluted any pertinent content and caused the audience to tune out. Our ears were fatigued. Admittedly, we abandoned the tour after the lunch break, a unanimous vote. Reading many positive reviews before our booking made it appear to be a worthwhile experience. It was disappointing for our group on this day. Tip: Book yourself a tour of the beautiful and profound Martin Luther King Memorial and save yourself hours of tourist captivity. Audrey did a nice job as driver and greeter. Atlanta is an awesome city; find another way to enjoy it.

Don ( guide) & Pam ( driver) were both fantastic. Don was extremely knowledgeable on all subjects and all sights including civil war battles in the area. He was also very entertaining with his harmonica, his singing and his local anecdotes. Don & Pam made this tour a 10 out of 10.

Bus tour was okay not that great as was expecting. Though it was for five hours, didn't feel excited at any moment. Not worth 50 Dollars per person and had to shell out 200 dollars for a family of four. I recommend Stone Mountain Park instead which is so cheap and exciting.

The city tour was the best one I have taken over the years in various cities. First of all it was very personal as there were only six of us tourists. But the main complement goes to Don, the tour guide, who was a walking encyclopedia. He knew everything about Atlanta from the history to the culture to the neighborhoods to the restaurants. He entertained us with stories, music (on his harmonica), and photos of the city then and now. He radiated enthusiasm - you could tell that he really enjoyed his job and sharing the city with us even though he had probably done this tour hundreds of times - it was like he was taking us on the tour for the first time.

Don and Audrey were the best. My plane was late and they caught me enroute so as not to miss a thing. Don is absolutely filled with information and side stories, and entertains with a song or two. He was gracious and humorous. I saw parts of Atlanta I would never have seen and it gave me good ideas where to go back to. Audrey was an expert driver. Take this tour!!!

My sister treated me to this tour as a birthday gift. I enjoyed meeting at the Peachtree Center for the start of the tour and the drive through the city, neighborhoods and areas of Altanta. It had been over 40 years since I'd been there. The tour guide Don appeared to be very knowledgeable about historical information. He talked incessantly even after he said we could leave the group and return to the bus at a designated time. He did a great job of ensuring all participants returned to the bus before heading elsewhere. There were some minors on the bus and I felt uncomfortable in his reciting Nipsey Russell adult themed limericks/ poetry. I would have enjoyed getting off the bus to explore the Olympic Centennial Park and Jimmy Carter's Center. I was not interested in seeing Tthe homes/ mansions of celebrities and others in Buckhead. I feel after lunch at Ponce City Market our group had lost interest in the tour.
