- clairetay10 contributionsBetter and Cooler than WalkingGreat tour, Joseph was informative, and really made us feel comfortable about riding the Segway (we were both newbies) but after a few minutes you get used to it and it’s a really fun ride!! The tour takes you to some interesting parts of the city and you learn about its haunted past. Great tour, would definitely recommend.Written 27 May 2024
- Eric G0 contributionsFun Segways and an excellent guideJoseph was a fantastic guide. He took time before we started to teach everyone how to ride the Segway. He was quick, but he had each one of us practice individually with his guidance to be sure we knew how to operate the Segway. And then we were off. The evening tour was perfect. It was in the 90s today, but at 7 pm, things cooled off and it was a perfect ride. The Segway is just plain fun to ride, and we were able to see way more of San Antonio than I expected. Joseph’s stories were always entertaining, and all four of us had a super time. Highly recommend this tour.Written 23 May 2024
- 5darciet0 contributionsAn Excellent and Super Fun Tour!!Rob and Joe were awesome! - Michael96360 contributionsExciting Segway TourThe Segway tour was fantastic. Our guide, Joe, was funny, informative and just a great person. Our oldest son is autistic, and we were really worried about whether he could handle the Segway. Joe took him under his wing and made the trip a wonderful experience for our son — who is still talking about it. I highly recommend the tour, and that you ask for Joe!Written 26 March 2024

- markcdrew0 contributionsSan Antonio Segway TourIt was a fun tour. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour to train everyone to ride the segways and Joseph does a good job of that to make sure everyone is safe on them. So we actually rode around on the segways for about an hour and that was enough as our legs and feet were getting tired by then. Riding the segways is a fun experience and Joseph pointed out many interesting historical buildings to the group as we passed them.Written 26 February 2024

Robert took his time with pretraining and making everyone in our party feel confident as first time Segway riders. The tour was very informative of history and favored sites around town. Robert was professional, humorous, and kept everyone's safety a priority.
If you book a tour, choose Robert he will make your tour entertaining and fun. Great time had by all. I highly recommend this tour for everyone. Great tips on eateries in the area and local events. Thanks Robert, 5 stars!

My favorite part of the trip was getting to see so much of the city in a short period of time. My favorite site was the cathedral which we got to go inside. This says it’s an Alamo tour but it’s not, you can’t even go on the Alamo grounds on your segway. Joseph the guide was awesome, born and raised and still lives in downtown SA. Knowledgeable and also funny. It was a two hour tour and you might be with strangers. Also, you’ll have to wear a helmet so if you don’t like other people’s germs, you can bring your own. They do clean theirs however. I would recommended this tour.

Lots of fun even in 102 degree summer heat. Joseph was informative, conversational and humorous as we easily wound our way through the downtown neighborhoods of this vibrant city. A great way to further appreciate the history and people of San Antonio.

Nation Tours on Houston St. with Joe as the tour guide was a blast! We did the 1.5 hour tour at noon on Oct 15 and had so much fun. Don’t be scared, Joe will teach you how to ride the Segway and while on the tour he shares some very interesting and historic facts. I appreciate that he took a fun video of us and stopped for a photo op! He made sure I got a restroom break- much appreciated!!

We really enjoyed the tour and the knowledge of Joseph, our guide. He spent plenty of time teaching us to ride and was very knowledegable about the city, its history, and most importantly, the best restaurants. As a matter of fact, we tried the restaurant he recommended, and he was right, it was tasty!

Thanks for a great experience! The WV gals had a blast!

I enjoyed the tour, and our tour guide (Joseph) was very nice. My only criticism was that the tour was advertised to be 1 1/2 hours. It took a full hour for the guide to train each person on how to maneuver the Segway. The tour itself lasted one hour. A tour that is advertised to be 90 minutes should be 90 minutes.

My wife and I do Segway trips all over the world since we believe it’s the best way to actually see a city. Joseph was our tour master, and he didn’t disappoint. His knowledge of San Antonio gave us an interesting insight of the history of the city. Highly recommended.

No. It was just a pause for a kodak moment. The tour is a sedgeway tour. But did introduce us to places we visited later
