No bags of any kind, brand, size, color, or for any reason are allowed to enter the Pearl Harbor visitor center. Please absolutely bring no bags with you. Bags may not be left inside our tour vehicle. If you have a bag, you will need to check them into the visitor center bag storage. This costs money, and you may have to wait in a long line to check in your bags. You may lose a portion of your tour, or your Arizona boat ticket may expire. Please do not bring any bag of any size, color, or brand with you for any purpose. (Clear see-through bags are permitted). We do not carry nor do we have space for luggage of any kind. It will not fit in the vehicle. Tour and ticket times may change based on traffic, federal government regulations, or new Pearl Harbor restrictions. While tickets are included in all of our Pearl Harbor tours, there are a few times a year there are situations that arise when tickets are not available to us. In this case, we will use the standby procedure by NPS ( National Park Service ) will be used. The U.S. Navy has the right to cancel the Arizona Memorial shuttle boat at any time due to public safety. However, we have no control over the U.S. navy or other organizations in charge. Ford Island is part of the active military base, Joint Base Pearl Harbor – Hickam, and the U.S. Government has the right to restrict access to Ford Island without notice. This is beyond our control, and we follow the federal agency's rules. If your pickup location is the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, after Pearl Harbor, you will be returned directly to the airport, and the others will continue on to go on a drive through of downtown Honolulu and Waikiki, as the airport is miles before these locations

You can get tickets to the memorial for $1 but if you don’t have a car the uber drive there and back will run you as much as this tour. You’ll meet new folks, have plenty of time at the memorial and get a tour around town and guaranteed tickets to the memorial with this group. The tour can run long on the way back so don’t make plans before 4 pm though. It’ll be tight and stress you out if you do.Written 21 February 2025

This tour was great because all of the difficult pieces of traveling were taken care of, but you were given space to do the experience at your own pace. We had about 2 hours at the site, and I would have liked it if we had at least one more hour, but all in all, I walked away gaining so much more knowledge and an understanding of this important piece of history that I didn't know I was missing.Written 21 February 2025

She handed us out tickets and told us to be back at a specific time. It’s essentially a free for all there. Not a huge place. Easy to get thru everything with the allotted time given. Rode with HumuHumu of E Noa Tours from Waikiki to Pearl Harbour. HumuHumu engaged with our group by giving us an introduction to Hawaiian culture and a few Hawaiian words plus a history lesson about Hawaii over the years - in an interesting manner peppered with good humour. He had an excellent command of English and kept us entertained with catchy reggae music for a few minutes after he completed his spiel. At Pearl Harbour, we were given clear directions on how to make the best use of our time and return in time for the 9 km ride back to Waikiki. On the way back, he shared information about the attack on Pearl Harbour and gave us a deeper insight into Hawaiian history.

This visit to the Pearl Harbor memorial was so memorable — Thomas was the man: he shared so much info & incredible history about Waikiki as we were heading to Pearl Harbor to pointing out POIs as we headed thru military areas relevant to the attack on Pearl Harbor; then we returned after memorial he continued & gave us a fantastic tour of a memorial as it coincidentally prepped for a visit from the president of South Korea to the Punchbowl. The visit to the memorial itself was beyond words as we tried to imagine the horror of the attack. Cannot recommend this tour enough & be sure to ask for Thomas, too!!

The tour of the Arizona was meaningful and inspiring but the rest was just….OK. Our tour got pushed back from 0930 to 1230, but they gave us a more intimate tour in an suv vice the tour bus. We felt a bit rushed, but the tour guide was nice and well educated on the area. The city tour was literally just a drive around the city as he pointed out key points. The t-shirt they gave us at the end was like an afterthought, wrapped in a plastic bag and to small for either my wife or I. Very nice but they just packed a lot in a short timeframe.

We flew into Honolulu for a quick day trip from Maui, just to see Pearl Harbor! I really don’t like leaving bad reviews, but I wish we would have saved the money instead of booking this tour.
First we were notified the day before that our vehicle had been “upgraded” from the expected sprinter type of van. When we met the driver, it was actually a limo picking us up! Okay cool, we can work with that! There were 2 other couples plus our family of 5 adults. The limo only had enough room for 8 adults in the back, so one of us had to ride upfront with the driver completely separated.
It was a quick ride to Pearl Harbor where we were lead inside and given an overview of what was where. Unfortunately, our “pre-booked” USS Arizona tickets were booked for the following date, not the day of our tour. Not sure if this was a ticket mix up or just a mistake. We were all told to get in the stand-by line. Okay fine, no big deal, things happen and we still got to see the USS Arizona. I believe we had about 3hrs to explore Pearl Harbor on our own which was plenty of time. Our guide had cold water and juice available in the trunk which was much appreciated!
Up to this point, it wasn’t going great, but unfortunately it nose dived after: The “city tour” was the worst part of the day. First, due to the bench seating in limo, 70% of us had our backs turned towards the windows. Additionally, the windows were tinted dark, so you really couldn’t view much of the city out of them anyway, even in the daylight. Every single person in the back of that limo had taken a quick nap at some point during the long “city tour”. The only information I remembered was driving around the cemetery/memorial. Then we were driven back down the mountain and dropped off downtown.
We had picked this tour due to the included airport pick up and wanting to see as much in one day as possible, but between the wrong date on the prearranged USS Arizona tickets, and the pointless city tour, we could’ve saved $400 and taken an Uber.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We understand that you had some concerns with your experience; however, there are a few things that we would like to point out.
The typical group size for Pearl Harbor tours is 40-60 people in a motor coach or 22 - 35 in a mini coach. Small group tours are for around 14 people in a van. The group that you were a part of was nine people. This is the capacity of the vehicle that picked you up—eight in the main compartment and one up front. The vehicle was not over its rated capacity. In addition, as a group tour, one must accept that others will be in the vehicle and that the seats should be filled. When the vehicle has nine seats with nine seatbelts, there can be nine people, and there were that many in the luxury vehicle.
You mentioned that the driver had the Arizona Memorial Tickets for the wrong date. The driver did have access to the proper Arizona Memorial tickets on his phone. However, while the world is moving towards being paperless and having everything be electronic, sadly the National Park Service policies insists that these tickets be printed out. They can verify that we have the correct reservations, but even when we show them the code, and they could simply scan it off of the driver's phone, their policies are unhelpful. They keep the tour operators and passengers even with tickets arranged for that day be required to stand in line. Even when we have paid for the reservations and reserved them months in advance, the tickets have our names on them and and there is no way that the tickets could belong anyone else.
Everyone has a different opinion of the city tour. some find the guide thoroughly entertaining and informative.
We hope that this clarifies some of the issues. Once again, thank you for taking the time to write the review. We hope that your stay in Hawaii was a pleasant one.

We were told transportation would arrive between the 9:30-9:50. We decided to be responsible adults and get there by 9:15 because we are conscious and respectful of other people’s time. We waited til 10:01 before we left the rendezvous. As we’re already on the beach then we get a phone call that they’re there. At this point, we feel disrespected as they could’ve simply text or called us and let us know that they were running late. We would understand as things happen and so does traffic. What is unacceptable is the lack of communication and for them to think this is acceptable behavior. I am a manager myself and hell will freeze over before this will ever happen under my management. We requested the refund in which we got a generic email in which I’m sure has been copy and pasted at least 5 handfuls of time (I know a recovery template when I see one). We will just Dispute it via our credit card company since they think they can screw over anyone they want without repercussions. I hope this review is seen by all as this is very shameful and disgraceful to what Hawaii stands for. This is not my first trip to Hawaii but wow how the standards have fallen. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
The driver arrived at your hotel after getting through heavy traffic. When he arrived, he called you and you notified him that you had left. On your own.
We understand that you thought that by telling the above story, your story would be believed by everyone. But you never thought about one important point, the fact that we had clients from the same hotel, on the same day, at the same time, on the some tour, in the same vehicle, with the same driver. They were picked up, and they happily went on the same tour, just like many others who we picked up on the same day.
It was your decision to not show up and not wait a few more minutes, or to not even call and ask for an update. We provided the tour Viator sold to you.
Despite the fact that in Waikiki, over 250,000 people are staying in a three square mile area on any given day, 365 days a year, the driver can be one block from you and stuck for hours at an intersection because of an incident. But you did not want to wait a couple of minutes for the driver to get to you. It is sad. and not acceptable. Simply, in the past ten years, we never had one client even leave over a couple of minutes. It looks more like you did not even want to go on the tour; instead, you wanted to go to the beach.
But in the end, we thank you again for booking with us.

Tom was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and communication regarding pickup times and location were excellent. We finished a little early at Pearl Harbor, so he was able to begin the City Tour a little early. Dry knowledgeable about the city, history, and important landmarks.

The van was too crowded. Fortunately the other guests were cordial. The snack was too skimpy, the juice was loaded with sugar and we did not receive the promised T-shirt.
The driver was very knowledgeable and considerate. He was under pressure after having Been delayed in picking up guests who provided their incorrect hotel info. I would highly recommend him.

Regarding the juice, we don’t control the sugar content, but we do offer a choice between water and juice for guests with different preferences, you could have chosen water. Regarding the van, we always accommodate guests based on the seating capacity of the vehicle. For the T-shirt, our tour guide handles distribution and may have missed it due to the rush of other factors he is dealing with such as talking and entertaining clients, traffic, drop-off clients, etc. It would be nice if you reminded him at the drop-off point. We loved Pearl Harbor but there was a lot of confusion. One couple insisted on being taken home before the city tour cutting our city tour short. Another couple was late meeting at the spot cutting even more time off the city tour. We would have like more time at the punch bowl we didn’t get to get out and walk around. We really felt the tour guide should have handled these things. Tourist should be told if you are not staying for the full tour get your own transportation back. If you are not at the designated spot at the departure time you will need to find other transportation. The people who were late were getting coffee and we waited over 20 mins and the guide tried to call them twice.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you with one of the best Pearl Harbor Tours in the State of Hawaii at a discounted rate.
Your understanding of this tour is completely wrong. The first thing to consider is that it is against State law for commercial vehicles to stop and let people out at the National Memorial Cemetery at Punchbowl. It only was ever a drive through and can only ever be a drive through. This is a State Law. The second one is that the drive through Down Town City tour is just that. It does not matter if someone needs to go back earlier or not or if someone got to the pickup point late or not, this driving tour is the same duration. If someone is running a few minutes late, we don't leave them behind. This is not what we do in Hawaii. How would you feel, if you were running late for any reason? What if they had to use the restroom, or their watch was behind, or they were stuck in a line?

This was supposedly a deluxe tour. There were 12 of us stuffed in a van built for maybe 9 or 10. The A/C could not keep up. The tour of the city was very brief. The Pearl Harbor Tour portion was, of course, fantastic.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you with one of the most wonderful Pearl Harbor tours in the State of Hawaii.
Regarding your statement about "There were 12 of us stuffed in a van built for maybe 9 or
10." we were wondering if you are joking. While some shady companies on some other countries may want to overload a van, in American not only no one do that people dose not allow them and object them right there. we do not place more people in a van than there are seats and seat belts. It is illegal. One person gets one seat and one seat belt. Do you think two people can fit on one seat? That would be impossible for anyone, especially Americans, as many of us in America are overweight. For your information, there are 14 seats in that van for 14 passengers no more.
The main focus of this tour is Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial. The complimentary Honolulu city tour is a short driving tour through the historical landmarks of downtown Honolulu. As such, it is meant to provide a brief overview of these landmarks on the way back to Waikiki.
We are glad that we provided the tour point by point as we described on the website and on your confirmation.

Does this package include the boat ride to USS Arizona or is that separate? Do you pick up from the Outrigger Hotel?
