I was so excited for this trip, have been backpacking for years and ready to take on Half Dome (bucket list trip). They tell you in every correspondence to get travel insurance, DO IT! I didn't, ended up with a bulging disc the week before and couldn't go on the trip due to the 50lb backpack weight requirement. My friends had the best time and loved it. I lost $1800. GET INSURANCE!!!!!!!

It was amazing. Great food, views and interactions on the trail. The guide was extremly knowledgable about the area and vegitation. Such a majestic place.

I have been to Yosemite as a kid and adult, and returned this summer to bring my wife and our 6 & 9 year old sons. We elected to hire a guide to make sure we saw as much of the valley as possible while keeping our young kids interested in the journey. Best decision we could have made. Will from Lasting Adventures was a wealth of knowledge on the parks history, plants, trees, wildlife, hidden gems and so much more. We walked away feeling like the value was incredible and both boys want to go back, and bring Will and his family with us!

I did Half Dome in a Day with Lasting Adventures and it was great! John, our guide made the experience even better and ensured we had the best day possible. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure the group was comfortable and overall had the energy you’d want on a hike like this one. 100% recommend

Nick Lange was a great guide. He gave us lots of good advice in preparation and entertained us with stories to keep our mind off the grind up the switchbacks. He has a great passion for the area and enjoys sharing that with his charges (young & old).

We had the pleasure of being guided by Jack on our visit of Yosemite. We thoroughly appreciated his knowledge on the nature, geology and history of the natural park. Jack was insightful in sharing the culture of the climbing community he is a part of and kind enough to demonstrate all of his material and equipment. He took the time to ensure our expectations where reasonably met, allowing us to make the most of our day in Yosemite. Writing this review on behalf of our 15 year old son who just came back from his 4th Lasting Adventures Trip. This organization does not disappoint. My son loves his yearly backpacking trips with Lasting Adventures. My husband and I appreciate all that they teach the kids; how to be accomplished backpackers, to love and respect nature, explore the backcountry of Yosemite. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

It was a fantastic vacation, and they are a great outfitter. I was in great hands with our guide, Ella; I felt very safe and would not have had the same Yosemite experience without her. My favorite hike with Ella was to the Glen Aulin High Sierra Camp and White Cascade waterfall. The hikes were challenging on some days and light on other days, based on what we were looking for. She took us away from the crowds, and we experienced scenery and beauty that we would have only been able to see with her expertise. It was a vacation I will never forget and one that I am very grateful to have been able to experience. Scott was also very easy to work with when booking the trip. If you are going to Yosemite, don't skimp; this is the company to use to see the best of it. We stayed at the Rush Creek resort; Ella picked us up every morning and gave us options for the day. Lunches were included on the hike. I would use this company again. I couldn't be happier. Thank you again, Ella and Scott.

A perfect way to start our adventure in Yellowstone! Our guide Kate was knowledgeable and fun -- she adapted our trip to be the best for our family, sharing great background and history, and throwing in some adventure along the way for our teens. The number of sites you can see just within the valley is incredible, and beginning with a full day of valley exploration with a knowledgeable guide helped us plan the rest of our time in the park. Kate even texted a follow-up email with recommendations based on our time together. Amazing-- a must do!

My husband & I went with Zach yesterday & had the best time ever. He was such a great story teller sharing all the first nation history with us. His rock climbing knowledge actually sparked us to watch a new documentary last night. It was unforgettable & would recommend this to anyone because it truly is customized to your wants!

My 14 year old son just returned from a six day trip in Yosemite and said it was life changing! It was his first ever backpacking trip. He had such a great time and made friends with a great group of kids from around the country. He can't wait to do it again next year.

Our guide Dyson took our family on a 2 consecutive days for hikes throughout Yosemite. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He helped motivate the kids into doing the tough Mist Trail and Nevada Fall Loop which there likely wouldn't have done without him being our leader. The views were amazing! I would highly recomend their company and especially Dyson!
