Highly Recommend. Tremendous experience. Cara was a wonderful guide. She shared her knowledge of the Park, the trails, fauna and flora. She contacted us the day before the hike to share information on the meeting place, what we should bring, set expectations and answered all our questions. We laughed, shared stories and had a throughly enjoyable day. She also gave us some suggestions on other hikes in the park we might enjoy. She was well prepared with some snacks, first aide kit and bathroom kit.

My partner and I had the most amazing journey around the North Rim, led by our expert guide, Eric. Having come from overseas we were limited in the dates we were available, which happened to be while the snow was still thick on the tops. We arranged with the amazing team at Lasting Adventures to still go ahead with the trip, after they had assessed the safety of the journey, and our experience as hikers. Eric had such enthusiasm and knowledge about Yosemite, he educated us about the geology, natural history, and the indigenous stories of the area. He also let us know about the amazing work Lasting Adventures is doing for school students, teaching responsible recreation, and fostering environmental stewardship. On our journey we snow-shoed across the top of Yosemite Falls to the top of El Cap one day, and to the top of North Dome the next day, where we were treated to expansive views of Half Dome and Cloud's Rest. We made exciting river crossings, learned about safely storing food away from bears, and used new hiking techniques like glissading. We felt safe at all times, which meant we were able to enjoy the stunning views wholeheartedly. We cannot thank Eric and Lasting Adventures enough for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Since I was going solo, my guide and I were able to customize my day trip to meet my goals and limitations. Ciaran is a very sweet and knowledgeable guide. he did everything he could to make my trip absolutely perfect. We hiked to Lukens Lake, Around Tenaya Lake, and to Soda Springs.

I had a fantastic experience on the 5 day Cathedral lakes to clouds rest and half dome trip. Alongside the kit list, lasting adventures emailed us about a change in the weather so I felt well prepared on what to pack. Our guide, Caber, was brilliant. He was knowledgeable about the area, good company, paced us well, made amazing food, and gave me the moral support I needed to get up Half Dome. Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places I have every been and I would highly recommend this hike with Lasting Adventures.

Spent five nights last week on a Lasting Adventures trip in Yosemite. I couldn't have dreamt of a better way to see the park. Our guide was amazing and was a wealth of knowledge on the geology, trees, and history of the park. Finished the trip with a summit of Half Dome on our last day. The only way to really get a scale of Yosemite is to spend a few days backpacking through the park. Amazing food, good company, and some of the best scenery on earth. I highly recommend going with the experts at Lasting Adventures as this is truly their backyard.

I joined a guided day Hike up Half Dome at short notice after learning of an opening with this group. Hands down, it was the most challenging hike I've ever done. But our guide Ciarnan was fantastic and full of encouragement during the most difficult spots (particularly the cables). He made sure we were well hydrated and took breaks at the appropriate times. I would recommend this company without reservation, and am planning to return to Yosemite for the Cloud's Rest hike with them next year.

We are a family of 4, with 2 teenagers and Caber was our guide for a day hike. Caber was the perfect guide for us with our rock climbing son. There wasn't a route or rock that Caber didn't know and he was able to show us walking routes avoiding the crowds as much as possible. As a keen rock climber himself, Caber was able to tell us stories of his adventures and this has completely inspired Ewan (our son), to one day return to achieve his dream. He simply went above and beyond to ensure we had the experience we had hoped for and adapted to the group as our daughter was recovering from a cold and a little more restricted. Caber managed to fit everything to our group and no one felt in any way a hindrance. Coming to Yosemite itself was epic, but seeing your son realise a dream is something we will never forget. He has bought a book of routes from the Climbing Museum in Maripisa today and he's planning his next dreams - to return and to actually climb them. Caber, I hope you get to read this because you are an amazing human, guide and advocate for rock climbing and respecting your environment. I hope you continue to achieve your dreams.

5 hours, 10 miles touring The Valley floor with Dyson as our guide. Great way to start our week in Yosemite! Dyson was super. He gave us some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our week. Highly recommended.

More beautiful than imagined. Guides were excellent. Did a great job of educating us and helping us be better prepared. And fun to be with.

Our teen daughter had a fantastic time on Lasting Adventures teen hiking trip in Yosemite with guides Savannah and Jess. It was well planned, well communicated with the parents, and well implemented. We really loved the follow up that included photos and journal entries written along the journey by the girls themselves. It was rigorous, fun, and a great way for her to enjoy nature. We had an amazing time. Our guides Kara and Ian were amazing. They were knowledgeable about the park, its history, inhabitants, birds, and plant life. They made it fun even when it was tough. I sit behind a desk all day. This trip was way out of my comfort zone, but they were supportive and took such great care of us. The meals that they can prepare in the backcountry are imaginative and tasty and they had riddles to keep your mind busy on the trail. When you were not mesmerized by the scenery. It felt so good to accomplish these hikes. We had a fantastic group of people on our trip. I would do it again.

This was the best trip our family took part in on our 3 week holiday in California. Our guides Kara & Ian were fun, kind, organised, knowledgeable & in tune with the different needs within our group. When there was an unexpected (small) fire which forced us to reroute, they were really good at suggesting alternatives. We learned so much about the park wildlife, flora & history and we were very well fed along the way. Highlight was surely the red velvet cake (with icing)cooked on an open fire after sunset! The kit we hired was really good quality. Would highly recommend this trip if you enjoy proper hiking & want to get away from the tourist trails on the valley floor.

Lasting Adventures provided such a unique and wonderful experience to the group of rising high school juniors in our program. I attended with our group and was able to see just how caring and prepared our two guides, Eric and Savannah, were. Everything from the food preparation, route planning, and backpacking do's and don'ts were taken care of by Lasting Adventures which let our group focus on taking in a beautiful national park. I cannot thank Lasting Adventures enough for everything they did!

It was very easy to navigate the website to search for different hikes. If I had any questions, Scott quickly responded and did a great job guiding (pun intended) me on which hikes were available. I did a solo day hike to Clouds Rest. My guide, Emily, was excellent! Her knowledge of the history of the park and surrounding area was impressive. She also gave lots of information on the wildlife and plants in the park, which added to the overall experience. Emily adjusted my backpack to make it fit correctly because I had no idea it was not fitted correctly which made a big difference in how it felt. I had a couple of minor injuries along the way and Emily was extremely helpful. She went out of her way to make sure my entire experience from start to finish went great. Whatever Emily is getting paid is NOT enough. I would highly recommend anyone use Lasting Adventures for their guided tours.

We were at Yosemite from May 21st to the 28th. We had a guide, DYSON, for 3 days. He was fantastic. I strongly recommend Lasting Adventures and especially, DYSON.
