We had a fabulous tour with Ibitsam Halabi. It included a visit to the studio of the hot Druze artist Sam Halaby who is exhibiting internationally, unusual shops, murals in the village. Also, we stopped in her own headquarters where she dressed a couple of us in traditional Druze wedding costumes. As an add on, we also arranged for a
lunch in the home of an extraordinary Druze chef. What a spread!

This tour was so much fun! I was really interested to get a chance to learn about many different cultures and religions during my trip to Israel, and so this was a great chance for me to learn about the Druze people. Ibtisam took us around her village, we got to meet people, see different shops and religious buildings, learn about traditional clothing styles, and got to try some fun breads and tea which was my favorite part! It is a great chance to learn about a group of people you may not have heard of before!
