Chez came highly recommended from the Ocean Eden Bay hotel. He was promptly on time to pick me up and take me to play golf then he was there when I was done ready to take me back. Very clean new car. Chez was very nice to talk to and has even lived in New York so he truly understands Americans. I would recommend him to all my Friends!

Chezrik was great to meet and spend time with. He took us out from our resort to experience some jerk chicken and Red Stripes at a local restaurant which was fantadstic. Chezrik was very knowledgable about the island and was very helpful in planning excursions away from the resort. Highly recommend him and can't wait to visit the island again.

We booked to go the Martha Brae river with Don who was amazing and looked after us all day, he even went out if his way to show us little bits of the island and its history. We enjoyed our trip so much that we booked to go with Don again to The Luminous Lagoon. Don made sure we got on the correct boat and was there to greet us as soon as we got off at the end of the trip. My husband and I were looking to do something a bit different once the children left after the first part of the holiday and Don recommended the humming bird sanctuary. I have never been anywhere like it and Don didn't complain once when I kept making him stay longer! Would thoroughly recommend Don and all of his knowledge and recommendations.

We had a great time at Blue Hole Ocho Rios. Our guides were awesome lead by Kenmar. They stayed right with our group and took care of my and daughter who had trouble walking the trails to the big fall. They made it easy for them. Then when we discovered my daughter-in-laws apple watch was missing they dove into the 20 foot deep blue hole and found it in just a few minutes. They did not ask anything for helping but we made sure they got a nice tip for helping us and showing a great experience. The water and the falls were amazing and just the walk to the falls were worth the $20.00 entrance fee. Make sure you go and enjoy and ask for Kenmar. You will not regret it.

We recently came back from holiday and used High Life tours and cruising several times. Chezrik was our driver, he was very reliable and professional. When we go back to Jamaica we will definately call Chezrik for all our tours. They are Jamaica Tourist Board certified

Our group needed airport transfers to/from Montego Bay - Ocho Rios. Someone else in our group booked the transfer for us from the airport and Romario ended up waiting on us for 2 hours to take us to the resort since he was given the wrong time. He still treated us with welcoming respect, helped us with our luggage, and gave us friendly and informative service. We asked if we could stop at a shop to pick up some liquor and souvenirs on the way and he made a phone call to a local shop he knew and made arrangements to get us in before they closed for the day. Romario gave me his direct contact info to coordinate a ride anytime during our stay - for excursions or the return airport transfer. Returning to the airport we got a larger group to go together to the airport so “Don” came in a bus. He was fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient. I highly recommend using these guys for any rides you may need in Jamaica. They are very professional and fun.

I researched this trip for over a month. I saw on this site, that HL Tours had exceptional reviews and I'm writing today to say the reviews are all true. Chez is absolutely and unequivocally the best private tour guide around. We scheduled Chez to pick us up from the airport and to also take us to Nine Mile, Martha Brae, shopping, Luminous Waters and several lunch spots. And every step of the way, Chez was polite, knowledgable, friendly, accomodating and an absolute joy to be around. This is my 2nd trip to Jamaica, and we've used Damion Martin in the past. He is excellent, knows the area well, and we will use him everytime we come to Jamaica. He picked us up from our resort and took us to the meeting place for our excursions. After the excursion, we really wanted to have jerk chicken at Scotchies restaurant. Well, during the pandemic, Jamaica has a curfew and the restaurant said that they were closed when we arrived. Damion went inside and spoke to the owner/chefs and they ended up selling us 6 meals, even though they were closed. He will go to bat for you! Ask for Damion Martin. He will not disappoint.

We had a wonderful time in Jamaica. Don showed us around and was always very caring. If you are planning to go to Jamaica and want to feel and experience real Jamaica go call him and let him guide you around. I strongly recommend him! We did three private tours. He stopped everywhere we wanted to and shown us parts of Jamaica. He showed us around from waterfalls to downtown in kingston. You must ask Don to bring you to the place where they have the best lobster. We really enjoyed everything. Thank you Don!

Don was great from the moment we met him. Unfortunately we didn’t meet under great circumstances because he was the driver taking my husband and I to the hospital from the resort. We had to go to the hospital at 4am and didn’t come back to the resort til 2pm. Don stayed the entire time! He was so caring and helpful. He even drove 30 mins across town to find the right pharmacy for my husband. I would definitely use him again when I come to Jamaica.

My girlfriend and I booked with Don after a recommendation from our hotel concierge. We had originally planned on going with a larger excursion company but after a little discussion we booked with Don, and we are truly glad we did. We were a little ambitious to begin with, we planned to visit the Blue Hole, Mystic Mountain, and Dunn's River Falls all in one day. Not sure if it was really feasible, Don assured us, if we started early, we would be able to fit all the activities into one day. Don was on time and even called to check if we were ready about 30 minutes before our show-time. He gave us a good price compared to the larger companies plus we had the flexibility to adjust our day on the fly. We had such a great day so we booked Don for a day to Ricks Cafe and Seven mile beach in Negril. The entire drive we chatted about Jamaican culture, history, and story’s from his 35 years of tourism experience. We felt safe at all times off the report, not once did I feel unsure about our surroundings. Overall, Don made the trip for us and we are truly happy with the experience. I would highly recommend Don and his son Chez to anyone making a trip to the beautiful country on Jamaica.
