The winery we will visit boasts an area of 12 hectares, was founded in 1996 and is family-run. Located in the heart of the Itria Valley in Puglia, a few kilometers from the center of Martina Franca. The winery still makes use of ancient winemaking traditions with the help of modern winemaking techniques in order to obtain quality and genuine wines. During the guided tour of the cellar and the vineyards, a tasting tour of some wine labels will be carried out, together with some typical local products.

      Superb boat trip
Great boat trip - took last rip of the day to avoid midday heat and to watch sun start to set. I love a boat trip along the coast at the end of the day.... Dominic was the skipper - full of stories and very funny. Comfortable boat, plenty of room, chance for a swim for those who wanted. exceptional boat handling skills - the caves are awe-inspiring but the boat handling was different level. Nice glass of Prosecco and an aperitif. Only last 70 minutes - wish it lasted longer would recommend

      Fun boat trip
Great boat trip to see the caves of Polignano a mare - easy to book, transfer to port on time and efficient and our skipper Dominic was brilliant fun. We took a private tour for 4 and would highly recommend.

Dom was a great host and kept everyone engaged and entertained. The music was fun and the caves amazing. Shout out to my fellow Melburnian host!

Fantastic Unesco tour and guide !
Everything went beyond expectations! Guide and driver very professional! Our guide Francesco was one of a kind! He knew the history of each place , he went though every detail to make us understand how the life in Matera and Alberobello was back then. We visited spots that we would not imagine and trust me.. You will be fully and greatly surprised!! And wait also for many surprises - remember the name Angelo!! Do not miss the UNESCO tour!! Francesco, ancora grazie di cuore! Alla prossima!! Irene

      Visit Matera and Alberobello separately
Both Matera and Alberobello deserve to be visited, but not in one day if you really want to enjoy all they have to offer. Visitors to Matera are to be informed beforehand by the guide about the many (some potentially dangerous) steps that will be taken, and offered the liberty to visit on their own. We had a very knowledgeable guide, but he was not aware that some of us might not have been able to take all those steps due to health issues, and in the high temperature of the day and the fast pace he used, our enthusiasm was dampened because we were not informed beforehand about the hundreds of steps down and up and down again and back up.

      Highly recommend!
This is a must do experience for anyone who loves food, Italy, or really getting a feel for the local culture. Anna Maria was AMAZING! She told us about the history of the region, as well shared family stories. We all had the best time- even our teenage children. And the food was so delicious. We highly recommend this! When we visit next, we are definitely doing this again!!

      Easy option but challenging
It was a very long day, close to 10 hours in a very hot day. Our guide was very informative but maybe a briefing on the bus to the first location rather than on a balcony in searing heat might have been better. Probably could have covered Matera by train from Bari. Alberobello was very pleasant but we lost a guest for what seemed ages, the return bus was late in picking us up and then had a minor crash on the way home.

Unique cities but a dreadful experience
Both sites are unique indeed but the experience at Matera was dreadful. The tour operator should have advised about the numerous slippery uneven cobbled dangerous steps. A lady in the group slipped and hurt herself and the tour guide Yuri didn't even notice since he was miles ahead. He wasn't even concerned when we advised him to slow down since there were many of us who were finding it difficult to go up and down these stairs. Travellers should be advised and make their choice as to whether to follow the guide up and down these stairs or stay exploring the city on their own. So be advised if you have some kind of a foot or knee injury or you have issues with your heart and breathing, this tour IS NOT for you.

      Great Food Tour
Alessandra was such an amazing guide!! She was so passionate about the food and the history of Polignano a Mare! Such a warm and friendly personality and so knowledgeable about the area. All the food we tried was so delicious, especially the panzerotti and the caffe spéciale! Would do this tour again!!

      Relaxing boat trip
Very relaxing trip with stops for swimming. Good size boat, there was 8 people in total on it so not too crowded. Our skipper made sure we all had drinks in hand and enjoyed our day, kept checking on us and was giving us tips on what to do in the area. Evening snack was very Italian and tasty. Overall we would book again 🙂

Would Have Been Good if not cancelled
I'm sure this would have been a good tour but ours was cancelled due to wind. My advise to you would be to make your reservations for the first day of your visit so that way if the weather doesn't cooperate, you have a better chance of re-scheduling it to enjoy it! The town of Polignano a Mare was beautiful.

A short informative walk around the vines into the vinification room and bottling area. We then moved into the tasting area…..the main event!

We tasted 5 excellent wines with an overview of each and a few nibbles to try them with!

Well organised with professional hosts and an opportunity to buy what you’ve tasted….ideal!

    What we liked:
    - The area
    - All the explanations is a very well spoken English
    - The owner was present and gave an introductory speech
    - The atmosphere

What we didn’t like as much:
    - Not much for your buck; 6 (very partially filled) glasses of wine
    - Not much on your plate
    - The tour was super fast (15 min).
