Finding assorted birds, an orange kneed tarantula and a green pit viper. We then put on a helmet and a bit more kit and found ourselves flying over the forest on zip wires. Truth be told, we were a bit nervous about the latter but very well looked after by Didier, Bryan and the others. They were friendly professional and safe. Once off one wire we were straight into the next with minimal waiting. Great thing to do. Amazing views. Definitely recommend to all. A great morning. Thanks so much guys!Written 14 January 2025

- Suzanne S0 contributionsWell run facility and friendly staffWell run facility with safety gear in place. Friendly staff. Be prepared for a very wet day since it is a cloud forest. There was lots of wind and rain and sometimes the rain would hit my face pretty hard while zip lining. Have very warm and waterproof clothing. Bring a change of clothes for getting dry afterwards. The cloud forest is gorgeous. All of that rain makes for a lush forest. The bridge walk we also did was easier to see the flora and fauna (slower walking the bridges than the zip lines so easier to see details). He was inspiring, knowledgeable and warm and showed us animals and plants we would otherwise not have noticed. We also went on the additional bridges on our own, which was also great. We had rain but stayed dry with ponchos and had pretty good visibility. After the walk, there was a tram. This was pointless. Either do just the bridges or add tram and zipline.Written 1 January 2025

You drive for a couple hours, end up at a cafe in someone’s house in the middle of nowhere - clearly a friend of the tour guides, where they make you a home cooked meal with the best coffee you’ve ever had in your life. You then continue onto the rapids, where they prepare you and then off you go ~20 miles down the river, only stopping halfway for a meal prepared by an indigenous tribe out of a handmade hut. I went with a bunch of people from around here, and the guides were nice enough to do the tour in both English and Spanish. The only downside was that it started an hour later than what TripAdvisor said, and they didn't provide transportation like they said they would. We were upset with the fact that we booked a 530pm tour and when we arrived we were told our tour wasn’t until 6:15. Even though our reservation said 530. First thing first!!! Booking with costco is a must. We got our own private shuttle from and to the airport and waited no more than 5 minutes. We met an associate from ¨Destination Services¨who provided us information regarding excursion and never pushed the issues to purchase one.
Once we arrived at Planet Hollywood, I contacted Julio who is the respresentative for Destintation Services in order to book an excursion.
Julio, again with no obligation, no pressure provided us several excursions and ended up booking three of them, at Costco discount price and hassle free.
Julio also arragned our shuttle back to the airport once we were ready to leave. Everyone was punctaul, informative, down-to-earth people and genuine.
I definitely recommend booking through Costco, and if you book at Planet Hollywood in Costa Rica, you look for Julio.
Once we arrived at Planet Hollywood, I contacted Julio who is the respresentative for Destintation Services in order to book an excursion.
Julio, again with no obligation, no pressure provided us several excursions and ended up booking three of them, at Costco discount price and hassle free.
Julio also arragned our shuttle back to the airport once we were ready to leave. Everyone was punctaul, informative, down-to-earth people and genuine.

Excellent time on this excursion. It may seem a little confusing on what's included/etc, so here it goes:
This included our transportation from the resort to/from the adventure park, and the activities (zip line, horseback riding, lunch, waterslide, and mudbath / hotsprings). You don't need to buy an extra ticket or any additional fees, outside of souvenirs and tips.
This isn't a go at your own pace. You go with the group to each activity, and do everything together. You also can't do things more than once sine it's a group outing.
Our tour guide was Harry, and he was awesome.
If you're looking for an excursion to this location and not sure what to buy, this is the one.

Went as a group of 4 women & we had a blast. Walter prepared us for the trip & was wonderful. So knowledgeable and respectful. All of the activities were fun and the day flew by. The team was wonderful too, great stories and snacks given.

Schedule my tour at 11am for the next morning, however I decided to cancel the tour because I was having an allergic reaction to bug bites and I did not want to be trucking around a rainforest getting eaten up by more bugs. So, I sent a cancellation request at 5:33pm, however because I did not cancel within 24 hrs of the trip, they would not refund money....$315.
Now I understand the 24 hr rule, however for this to truly apply, they should not allow customers to book within a 24 period because that will give u time to cancel. This is just ridiculous!!! Don't do it, buyer be ware!

Amazing day out. So many incredible experiences and adventures. The tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and friendly. One of the best holiday excursions we have ever had. Definitely recommend this trip.

WOW!!! What an amazing day of activity, education and fun! On the brochure, they said that it was a "moderate" level of activity/fitness. I would disagree with this because you have to hike up the mountain twice, once to zip line and once to go tubing. (Some of the older people really had trouble)

My family and I had an AMAZING time. This was a FANTASTIC deal and we got to do SO much. The water slide was not your average slide down a mountain. It was LEGIT thrill. I loved the scenery, and we were blessed to have great weather. But the best part of the whole trip was our tour guide (Harry Briones) and driver (Joselito). Harry does not receive enough credit for making this trip comfortable, fun, and thrilling. He is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. 100% would recommend this excursion. The zip-lining was the best one I've ever experienced (and I've done it a couple times in my life).
