Special day with Marcella in beautiful setting
Our group with a variety of cooking skills (advanced to beginner) all had a great afternoon with Marcella. We made homemade pichi and tagliatelle noodles with two different sauces. We started with making contucci and that was a lovely end to our lunch. Fun afternoon and a special thanks to Marcella for the hospitality and conversation. We loved your husband's wine :)

      Not impressed
We were obviously second class. We arrived to a construction site and it just went downhill. While I give credit for flexibility in scheduling, we were not a priority. Multiple phone calls took precedence. Further, recipes were not provided. Overall an underwhelming experience.

Alora, did you know you can make pasta with chestnut flour?!
We started with making a crostata using a plum homemade jam of our choice. Then we learned to make a vegan pasta using chestnut flour and olive oil. Of course we learned how to make a traditional pasta using semolina flour. Both were so fun to make and eat. Marcella also taught us how to make two types of sauces using fresh tomatoes and other veggies. This was an excellent Italian activity. Grazie mille Marcella! Aloha, from Hawaii .... Wonderful and authentic Cooking Class!!!
Marcella and her family were so wonderfully welcoming and friendly! We made an authentic crostatta, a chestnut flour pasta and a tagliatelli pasta dish - all from scratch!! Delicioso!!! The class was held at a beautiful farm in Montelcino - the entire experience was cultural, informative and simply wonderful!!

Best day tasting the best wines!
Nadia was fantastic and chose the best wineries for the three of us in our group to visit. We had private tours and tastings at 3 out of the 4 wineries we went to. She is very knowledgeable of the Montalcino area and of the wineries. Loved visiting the small local vineyards. Definitely a highlight of our trip! Can’t wait to receive the wine Nadia shipped for us!

      Lots of great wine
We had a wonderful day on our wine tour with Nadia. We wanted to experience a variety of the wine Italy has to offer so we went to both Montepulciano and Monticchiello wineries, and we stopped for a nice lunch along the way. Nadia is very knowledgeable about the wines in this region. And she shipped the wine we collected throughout the day back home for us! If I were to change anything, I may instead do two half day wine tours…8-9 of wine is a lot!

I have learn the formula of success
A magic experience I am amazed about this experience, therefore I recommend it . I live in Siena since two décades, and I know the unique simplicity of Montalcino. A successful story that changed the life of thousands of people, thanks to the creativity of two farmers: Colombini and Biondi Santi.

      Day of Wine and Food
Our day began with a tour of a beautiful Brunello winery. We learned about the grapes then had an amazing tasting of wines. From there we went to a different Brunello winery where we had a luscious lunch paired with wines. Our next stop was at a saffron grower where we tasted saffron in many forms. At the end of the day we were sated and content. I highly recommend. Nadia our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. She tried to show us a unique day and succeeded

A Wine and Food lovers tour
We had an incomparable day of tasting Brunello wines, eating an incredible meal paired with wines and a rare tasting of saffron products. Our guide, Nadia, was fun and knowledgeable. She was willing to make our experience the best possible by helping us explore this part of Tuscany. It was a unique day where we walked away sated and happy.

      Brunello di Montalcino Wine Tour
This is an impressive tour of the famous sangiovese wineries of Tuscany. The guides were knowledgeable about all significant aspects of wine-making that contribute to the quality of the wine: climate, soil composition, harvesting, fermentation, bottling, and aging. Three to four wines are offered for tasting at each winery, and lunches are served. Highly recommended.

      Nadia’s Brunello Wine Bus tour
We had a very good time and learned so much about the wonderful Brunello wines. We went on a tour to 3 locations starting with Camigliano. This small village has only 20 residents. The guide here talks very fast so did not understand her completely, but it was a pleasant tasting. The second stop was Piombaia. The guide here was very good as well as patient! The wines and olive oil here were very good. Last was an enoteca not sure of the name of the place or winery. We had lunch here which was very good on the deck overlooking a valley. Nadia was always helpful and pleasant. We had hopped to visit the town of Montalcino but it was raining pretty hard, so she contacted her father who lent us an umbrella for a short walk in town.

      What a treat!
We joined a tour which included two wineries and dinner. The first winery was at a medieval castle with incredible views. The girl giving the tour was friendly and knowledgeable and the wine amazing. Then we were off to a smaller winery at a farmhouse where we also had dinner. This was a different experience as this was a smaller more traditional cellar, "grandpa's cellar" as Nadia our tour guide called it. The dinner was great too, and I will remember the beef stew for a long while. We were also treated to a small singing performance by the owner in which our tour guide and more people joined in! It felt like we were joining a private party. The night ended at an enoteca just outside Montalcino which Nadia recommended for the live music. We arrived late for the event but had a quick drink nonetheless because the place was really nice. So overall, great wine, great food, great views, great people, great fun!

We actually did three tours with Nadia. Two were intimate dinners at a winery with a tour beforehand. The food, wine, and ambience were awesome! Of course, the weather was perfect and the full moon was out, just to add to the events. The other tour with Nadia was a full day of visiting four vineyards with lunch. Nadia knows all of the locals, picks out the ones best suited for the day (since it was near harvest time) and always delivers. We have connected with Nadia for two separate trips and will definitely book her on our next trip to Montalcino. She speaks excellent English, so she can help with any interpretation issues that may come up. I hesitate to give to glowing a report, because I am afraid she will get all booked up for our next trip back to Italia. But I cannot give high enough praise to Nadia and her tours--you will be happy you chose to go with her. It is like having your local friend give you the tour.

Nadia did an amazing job on our Montalcino Wine tour! She went above and beyond and planned a tour including four wineries, a lunch and ending with a four course meal on a terrace overlooking the vineyards. It was a perfect day!!

This review is very difficult to write because this was my second tour with Nadia in five years. The tour itself is lovely and the wine is fantastic. We loved it so much we bought 18 bottles to be shipped home. Unfortunately that is where my review turns negative. We paid 190 Euro to have wine shipped by Nadia back to the US. The wine arrived and to our disappointment our shipment was missing the most expensive, reserve vintage we purchased. In addition, Nadia shipped the wine listed as "Italian Virgin Olive Oil" which cost a total of 24 Euro. I reached out to Nadia immediately after the wine arrived requesting she ship our final bottle and following up two separate times over the course of the next two months without any response. In total we lost ~$300 dollars and this is after paying $620 for the two people on the tour and leaving Nadia a generous tip. We will not be using Nadia's services ever again after this experience and it is a real shame because coming out of the tours my review would have been vastly different had the shipment been handled professionally.

Dear Cathy, I'm really sorry to read your words. I'm sorry but I have to tell you that what you write is not correct. I sent, as I always do with all my customers, the bottles that you left at my office with the courier with which I have been shipping for 10 years now. I have never had any problems, all my shipments arrived regularly. Whether the shipment was made as "olive oil" does not depend on me, but on the courier I only offer a "Free" service where I take care of bringing the bottles to the courier, then the courier takes care of the shipping I checked with Costanti the wines that you bought during the visit to the company and he confirmed that you did not buy the bottle of Riserva (the most expensive as you write). No bottles left in my office of the ones you bought during the tour Honestly, I'm really sorry for what happened, but I don't feel absolutely responsible In any case, if you return to Montalcino, I will be happy to help you by offering you another visit to the cellar for free. a warm greeting from Montalcino
