Our experience with Ride Pura Vida was excellent. They booked us for an unusual transport, arriving earlier than scheduled (good for us!) in a clean, well-maintained van with a professional driver. This transport added so much to our overall experiences in Costa Rica. I definitely recommend this company. And especially for transports to/from Puerto Caldera, the freight port that Windstar and Sea Clipper cruise lines use. Most drivers coming from San Jose aren't familiar with the Puerto Caldera port and will try to take/pick you up from the wrong place!! Ride Pura Vida is very familiar with this location and will give you a safe, comfortable, even fun ride to/from that location. They were easy to work with directly from the Internet and US customers can pay via Paypal.

I am soooo glad I booked my private transfers throughout Costa Rica with ride pura vida! We rode with Randall, who’s also the business owner. He was nothing short of amazing. It felt like driving around with family or a friend! He answered all our questions and was extremely caring. The level of service we received was beyond our expectations and I don’t think our trip would have been the same without it. The car was big and comfy and always spotless. Randal was our driver from San Jose La Fortuna. Communication before meeting is timely and also arrived on time as well. Randal speaks very good English and knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. We was only book 1 way trip La Fortuna but decided to book the return trip with him as well. On the way back to San Jose, Randal took us to La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park, which was so beautiful. Lunch buffet also tasty as well. Do recommended to book the park entrance and buffet together. Afterwards, the original plan was to head to Starbucks' Coffee farm. Unfortunately, there was a pipe broken at the farm and they closed. No worry, Randal took us to a coffee shop/farm nearby and the view is great. We strongly recommended to book with Randal.

Randall was a great driver and guide! He gave me recommendations for my trip, and for future trips, provided cold drinks for the ride, and was kind enough to make a stop at a lab for a covid test before dropping me off. I will definitely use this service on my next trip to Costa Rica!

What an amazing service from Randall. It was an easy booking process, confirmation was received instantly, followed by a whats app message to confirm details. Was a perfect experience getting back from Jaco. The driver was punctual and arrived on time. He offered free drinks (beer, soda, water) free of charge and and had kind, considerate, and helpful communication throughout the drive. We hit traffic and the drive took longer than expected, however, the driver remained calm and composed. I felt completely safe the entire journey and felt like I was riding with a friend. I would recommend this service to anyone looking for a driver in Costa Rica, you will have a wonderful time and enjoyable experience!

Randall really made our stay in Costa Rica unforgettable! He is a great driver, kind, polite and great guide! He had some free Imperial beer that immediately became my favorite! We had by the far the best service from our driver, Randall. We had Randall to transfer us from place to place around Costa Rica!! He made our journeys stress free and enjoyable!! Our first transfer was from SJO to Monteverde, our flight into SJO was 1 hour early but Randall had checked this and was there early also to pick us up. The transfer was excellent providing refreshments, and advising all points of interest along the way. Ride Pura Vida then collected us for transfer to our second location a few days later, and then a pick to take us back to SJO at the end of our stay in CR. The service was excellent in every detail, organized by Gabi and Randall, could not be faulted, We wish them every success with their business, they certainly deserve it, many thanks.
