      Brilliant fun!
This was sooo much fun! Was a bit apprehensive beforehand but I needn't have been. Everything is explained very clearly by the instructors, they were very professional and safety is the priority it should be. The views from the lines are amazing with the mountains as a backdrop and the river far below. There was great camaraderie within the group (diverse ages and nationalities) with everyone sharing how they found each wire, encouraging each other, saying well done etc. I was very scared before the first wire (which is the longest, highest, fastest!) but the instructors give you the opportunity to ride tandem with them if you're nervous. I did do it alone and it was amazing - once you've done the first one the rest is a breeze! You even have the opportunity on one of the lines to ride with a partner. Even if you think this is outside your comfort zone, just do it, you won't regret it!!

Via Ferrata - nice walk but very poor advice from Zipline.
Hired gear for via ferrata from Zipline having been advised by the company that it takes an hour, was very simple and suitable for children. We are a family of 5 with an 11 year old. The via Ferrata actually took 4 hours, with some tricky sections - which is consistent with online reviews (reviewed on our return). The via Ferrata is actually very good if properly prepared for it being 3 to 4 hours. Thankfully my 11 year old daughter didn’t freak out half way up, as I’m not sure how we would have gone up or down. A very nice walk / scramble but very poor advice from Zipline.

“Enjoy the ride! It’s easier that it looks!”
10/10 experience! Would like to echo those that said they almost didn’t go through with it out of nervousness or fear, or almost didn’t leave the hotel/apartment out of fear — totally agree, we felt that way too & others who were a part of the group did too; all of us first time zipliners! But let me tell you it was worth it for each and every one of us and we’re all glad we didn’t let fear hold us back! So don’t either! It was incredibly safe, fun & exhilarating! Shoutout to the guides, Spiro was a real fun dude, his jokes & sarcasm really lifted the atmosphere! Dominik was good too, he’s a real pro at this stuff, and he makes it easy to learn the ropes (literally). Ask questions if you’re in doubt, take a moment & just go for it — if you’re real real afraid, one of the guides will go with you tandem, but do try to go for it alone, you’ll be glad you did just as I am!

      A fantastic experience!
An absolute pleasure, from start to finish. The reception staff were polite and helpful and the instructors were friendly and gave excellent instruction. Instruction tends to be given in English. Please be aware, there is some uphill walking on rocky terrain involved.

Brilliant but do go early in the day
Excellent morning with wonderful guides. I recommend booking for early in the morning (we went at 7.30) as it can get really hot up in the hills. I was a bit nervous as I'd read online that the guides were really unpleasant often, so I I was dreading getting grumpy guides. In the end we were VERY lucky to have Rocco and Alfie (the other two guides were really rude and unpleasant in the few short minutes we had preparing). Alfie and Rocco are extremely safety conscious, as well as being nice people. (PS they should get a raise!)

Lots of fun and well organised
We sent our 6 teenagers and older children on the zipline but we were lucky to be invited to join the group until the first line. This was a bit of a climb but we had fun watching the group go off on what is the longest wire. There were some nerves in the party but everyone had a great time. It was well organised and we were impressed with the guides.

My two sons (23 an 25) participated. Whilst they both enjoyed the experience, my only caveat is that the attitude to safety displayed on this occaision left something to be desired. Although they were given a timeslot, upon arrival they were advised to go for a coffee - it was very busy- and when they returned the safety briefing was already in full swing. They were told the part they missed would be repeated for them before they took part but it was not, nor did anyone check the fitting of their helmets. My sons have ziplined before and knew enough not to feel worried but this is not good enough for an experience such as this which is pretty daunting - the first zipline is incredibly long apparently (there are seven/eight ziplines in total) and this is not the sort of activity to adopt a cavalier attitude towards safety. Having said that, they did enjoy it and knew enough to feel safe with this company but they could have been novices...

Well organised and you get a lot for your money …as not only the 700m Zipwire (first Zipwire you do) but also another 6 Zipwire’s ranging from 150m to 600m (including the 6th one where you can do selfies as it’s the slowest one so they let you double up). You meet at the offices , a short walk to the pickup point , where they drive you to the base of the hill. Would recommend taking small backpack with water as you need to walk between the Zipwire’s ..mostly uphill so decent footwear advisable. Me and the son enjoyed immensely.

Myself and my partner had the best experience with Zipline Croatia. We initially booked our zipline for a day which also happened to be stormy. The team facilitated rescheduling for day that suited us and we enjoyed the Centina Canyon in the BEST weather!! Our driver Dragir was an absolute legend and transfered us to/from Split to Omis (well worth the approx 45 min journey) Our guides Ivan & Marin were very friendly and made us feel safe and well looked after. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone after a little adrenaline on their trip to Croatia!!

Zip lining was exciting and one guide was okay, but the other guide was awful. He didn’t show clear signals (stop and go looked the same) and therefore the complete group was confused. He got annoyed by the group and clearly showed it, so he didn’t care about us at all. That’s when he also didn’t check the break on the wire. It’s the break that on the and of the Zip line is slowly stoping you, while itself still moves a bit on the wire. In my case he got a part of the rope blocking the movement of the break. He also was not showing any break sign, when I got close to the end, as he was shortly before looking somewhere else. With that I went from full speed to zero speed in a second. It send me flying on the rope, that I actually hurt my leg on the rope, on which I was hanging before. I had a clearly injured leg and the guides couldn’t care less. They just ignored the situation with a “that happens sometimes”. They also didn’t offer any first aid or neither an apology. Luckily I was in a group of great tourist, which provided me with first aid and help in any way. As it was very painful in the complete body and an error by the guide/equipment, I lost my trust and will never be on a Zip line again.

    What we liked:
    - The view was just wonderful! I highly recommend doing this at the end of the day to enjoy the sun coming down
    - 8 zip lines= 8 different opportunities to enjoy
    - Super safe, the guides always secure you on the lines and unzipped you after it. I can not imagine any problems other than breaking too soon and having to help a bit manually at the end (or putting the finger in the wrong place ;p… do not do that)

    Where we see improvement:
3 out of the 4 guides (we were two groups) were really unengaged and unenthusiastic. They were constantly looking at the watch and doing everything with “pain.” This really spoils the mood a lot. I see a lot of room for improvement here.

Can't recommend the experience highly enough. Friendly, professional guides set you at ease and well prepared. Zip wire route down from the mountain drinks in stunning views. Some of the zip wire descents could be hair raising for those uncomfortable with heights, but after the building confidence on the first slide, it's all downhill. I had a fantastic and unforgettable day out with my daughters (my wife stayed on the beach, as not keen on heights). If you're in the area, just do it!

Fab activity for teenagers and parents! With 8 zip lines that cross mountains offering amazing views, this is a must do activity for families looking for other than a 30 minute activity in the area. Unlike jetskis, paragliding etc one needs to set aside 3 hours from beginning to end, an experience which is totally worth it. Our youngest of 15 and oldest of 48 all enjoyed the amazing views, the walks in the forest, hanging hunders of meters in the air and zooming down to the next point. The guides are a friendly gang. They focus on security and ensuring everyone feels safe, and if in doubt one can ride with them. Be aware that this, like most places in the Makarska Riviera is an all cash activity. One cannot pay with a card. I also recommend everyone brings a backpack with a large bottle of water. You will need it if you are there during the summer!

Firstly I want to say that my wife and kids had a fantastic experience, so many lines and so high up. Stunning views. And having read other reviews we were prepared for the long wait until the 1st line so no issues there.

However my experience was spoiled by the guide on the landing end of the line (same guide for each of the lines). I didn’t get the name of the guide (no intros or name tags) but we were in the middle group of the 11AM starts on 12 July 2022. I’ve done several zip lines in my 51 years and have always had a 10/10 experience but for some reason I struggled today with the brakes and the landing. It was obvious at the trial part but I hoped it would improve despite the guide telling me ‘you have to do it, we will not help you if you get stuck’. I managed to take off from every line albeit with some delay at times as I struggled with the brakes and was okay once I got going. But the problems were mainly at the landing. Twice I ended up braking too early and had to get to the landing platform holding on to the wire one hand at a time. That was fine as I didn’t expect the guide to come and collect me. However there was no encouragement just irritation from him and even when I get to the platform and as I struggled to get to the steps I had no help whatsoever and was almost told off at times. He could have dragged me in once I got to the platform but instead left me dangling each time.

It was clear that a combination of nerves and a mental block of sorts meant I wasn’t going to manage. I’m sure experienced guides as these would have seen far worse. But there was no help, no encouragement, just a sort of telling off. It left me embarrassed and humiliated.

The only saving grace was that my wife and kids had a great time.

I think this can be a great experience but don’t expect and help if you’re having any difficulty on the day.

Stunning views, well organised and one of the highlights of our trip. We were a family of 4 with a just turned 11 year old and a 13 year old. Generally our kids are up for most things, but when one person in our party loudly said “I can’t believe you are making an 11 year old do this”, she promptly freaked out. Thankfully the guides immediately offered to let her go on the zip lines tandem with them and she had a great time.

I would say that this isn’t suitable for younger children. There are some steep climbs in the heat and the zip lines are high! If you don’t get the timings of the break quite right (i.e. if you come in too fast) then you can bounce off the safety line and be left hanging and have to walk yourself along the line with your hands to get to the platform. It happened to several of our group so I imagine it’s not uncommon. I think my 11 year old would have panicked dangling 150m in the air pulling herself to the platform so in hindsight I was glad she went with a guide.

Having said that. We all had an amazing time and it was one of our highlights while in Croatia. I would 100% recommend. Take lots of water!

The zip lines are amazing, the views are out of this world and the adrenaline only adds to the experience. The guides took utmost care of our safety at all times so we felt really safe, while also being able to get us on the line quickly so there was minimal waiting.
The whole trip had a great ratio of very little walking and lots of ziplining. This stood out as one of my favorite activities of my trip to Croatia.
